Went with my wife February, 2020.We ordered appetizer and two main courses. Food was acceptable. Service was good. When we received bill, it seemed higher than the menu prices. I was tired and wanted to leave, but my wife asked to see menu. It reflected the higher prices that were on the bill. I paid the bill. When we got home, my wife googled their menu and sure enough the prices were considerably LOWER than what we were charged. We feel as though we were cheated and very disappointed.

Amazing experience!
Food and drinks will always be pricey in Miami Beach, but it was worth it! We split a pitcher of margaritas between 3 of us which is a better deal than buying individual margaritas- and they were strong! The guacamole was the best I’ve ever had. They give you a lot of food for your entreé. I highly recommend the Oh Mexico Burrito.
The service was excellent!
We recommend sitting on their outside patio.

Reserved using open table. We arrived 10 minutes early. Shown to a middle table on the street terrace area. The area is very pretty with the lights and Latin/Mediterranean vibe to the street.
I really wanted to like the experience but it fell short on multiple fronts.
The tables are small, which creates a juggling act with drinks and the numerous small plates.
Margaritas were Ok. Certainly not the best in Miami as claimed and some reviews mention.
The quac was fresh but somewhat bland. Missing ingredients maybe ?
But now the real issue, the whole thing was rushed. Again we had reserved and were early. But we’re rushed with ordering. The chips and salsa was brought to the table and the appetiser brought out. We hadn’t finished the appetiser before the entree arrived. The chips were removed and the appetiser before they were finished.
We purposefully took our time and had another beer to sip slowly to pace the meal out beyond 1hr.
It is clear they want to cycle as many covers on the tables as possible. But considering the cost for what is a mediocre Mexican restaurant, this is not acceptable.
If you must go there. Space out your ordering. Order your appetiser once the chips arrive and your entree when the appetiser arrives. The couple on the table next to us did this.

Don’t go!!! Food is ok at best way over priced! waiter tossed my food out before I was done eating to get us out of the table, hostess told us it’s a 40 min wait when there was a table for 2 open and I had to ask for it or we would not of gotten it. Then had a bad attitude about it. She wanted to sit us inside I said no. Just a bad experience over all. Very rude people working there.

We come from New Jersey and every time we come to Miami we make it a point to come to Oh!Mexico they serve authentic Mexican food and drinks. Today we had an attentive waiter Julian. He took great care of us not to mention he is easy on the eyes.

Let's start off with saying second time here and I happen to bring my friend visiting from out of town who wanted mexican so we ended up at Oh Mexico. Barco was attentive and nothing but great as a server, he knew the menu well and even suggested his favorite plates which we ended up getting along with a few round of drinks. Barco is definitely a great asset to your team. Thank you for the great time of dinner and drinks.

Visited Oh Mexico twice upon friends recommendation. Indeed we had a great time and, most important, great food. We found a very friendly easy going environment, nicely decorated, serving typical Mexican food...tasty and rich in colors. Staff was very efficient and attentive too, this making our time out extremely pleasant. On the negative side...music was too loud...making sometime difficult the regular course of a conversation. But, for the rest, Oh Mexico is a must have in Miami.

Oh! Mexico's is located at the corner of Washington Avenue and Espanola Way. Espanola Way is a pedestrian boulevard with numerous restaurants on each side between Washington Avenue and Drexel Avenue. During our stay in South Beach, we explored the area on foot. We observed many interesting venues, however, this area stood out as popular and crowded. My other half's favorite cuisine is Mexican. Our decision to try the food at Oh! Mexico seemed obvious to us. They offer inside and outside seating. They have some outside seats along Washington and a larger area along Espanola Way. We sat in the latter. The weather was excellent and the seating allowed us to view the pedestrian traffic as they in turn viewed us. The service was excellent. We were quickly seated on a busy evening and our waitress immediately was present for beverage orders. She was quickly back with the drinks and accepted our order of guacamole, while we further studied their menu. Seems that the freshly prepared guacamole was before us in an instant. The guacamole was a flavorful combination of avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro and chile serrano. Their menu was resplendent in authentic Mexican dishes. Do not visit Oh! Mexico expecting a menu clone of the many 'Americanized' Mexican food chains spread across the country. Oh! Mexico definitely provides a selection of great Mexican dishes prepared right. We tried their Chile Relleno (lightly battered and fried fire roasted poblano peppers filled with queso fresco over in a rich tomato sauce served with white Mexican rice & refried beans) and their Pollo a la Poblana (grilled chicken breast topped with poblano cream sauce, served with Mexican white rice and refried beans). Both dishes were absolutely delicious. With the great food, excellent service, perfect location and overall atmosphere, we were happy with our random choice of Oh! Mexico and would return.

The food was great, don’t get me wrong. The nachos were some of the best we’ve had. The margaritas, tacos, and quesadilla were also good. However, the terrible service outweighs how good the food is. The servers know they’re getting a 20% tip no matter what, and it shows. My water was empty before my meal was served, the server never once came back to ask how the food was or if he could refill our drinks. If gratuity is going to be included, servers still need to check on their tables and refill drinks (coming from a server, who does not have automatic gratuity). Our table was walked by at least 10 times by our server, through appetizers and dinner and he never once acknowledged that we were one of tables and might need something.

We spent a wonderful happy hour (or 2) with the lovely Carlos attending to our every need 😁
The food was authentic & delicious & the only picture I have is of empty plates 😂 I recommend the HH sampler.... the sweet corn was particularly amazing. Thanks for a wonderful evening, I hope you are up & running on my next visit 💜

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and were seated immediately outside. Service was prompt and friendly, but it did feel like our waiter was constantly trying to upsell us on everything - even when I ordered my food, he pointed at the menu to try and get me to order a completely different (and more expensive) item all together.
We wanted to try their variety of salsas with chips, and he told me we had to order the $15 guacamole in order to get the sides of salsa. However, as we left, I noticed many tables with just chips/salsa and no guacamole.
All salsas were tasty, guacamole was average, the chicken flautas with rice and beans were delicious ($21), and my husband loved his steak and enchiladas with rice and beans ($36).
Received the bill and were shocked that it came out to over $92 for 2 dishes and 1 side, but with over 30% added to the bill in taxes and 20% service charge, it would've been hard to have a reasonably priced meal anyway.
The food was the best part of our visit to this restaurant (thank goodness), but we probably wouldn't return or recommend.

Don't waste your time going here. Plenty of better places right on the beach or if you can get off the beach and find real Mexican food. The salsa had a weird consistency and lacked flavor. My daughter couldn't even eat her chicken tacos as there was a chemical taste to them and my son's chicken fajitas should have been called a pepper bowl because that is all you could see. There was also absolutely zero seasoning on the chicken. Mexican...I think not!!!
The automatic 18% gratuity is an insult as well.

Compared to the sparse vegetarian options in the area, Oh Mexico has a few which is nice. However, the portions are small and expensive— $19 for three small cauliflower tacos and a little bowl of rice and black beans. What really brought it down, though, was their drinks. The margaritas are listed as $16 but this is only the price for the small, which is the equivalent of 4 shot glasses full of liquid. If you move up to the medium, which is a more normal size, the price is $30!!! Not only is this ridiculous, but the way they obscure the cost is unethical. Once we ordered, they didn’t get either order right— I asked for cauliflower and they brought me Al pastor. My partner ordered blue corn tortillas and they used flour. And my expensive jalapeño margarita— had absolutely no spice. What moved the review from poor to average was our waiter who did what he could to check on us and fix what went wrong.
Bottom line— there are better places to go for Mexican in South Beach.

Our waiter Carlos Barco was the best! Fabulous margaritas, queso fundito, salsa/chips (large variety of salsas with complimentary salsa) and fish tacos. The service is impeccable. There is someone always walking by the table and available to assist you. Food, management and service are 5 star. Oh! Mexico! Is located in a busy part of town so be sure to make a reservation.
