Wonderful staff, great atmosphere. Very fresh seafood. I would recommend the ahi tuna and the restaurant in general.

From the live band playing a mix of Latin music, to the ocean drive location and classic Miami weather (we choose outside seating) this place is a gem! The service was outstanding. The bang bang shrimp was delicious, and the hummus and bread they bring for the table was great with the shrimp. Cocktails were delicious I chose the caipirinha... More

Ocean Drive has more restaurants to chose from and our group of six found a table on a busy Saturday night. From paella to shrimp to lobster, all dishes were excellent and full of fresh flavors. Great place to eat even on a crowded night.

Anyone coming to Miami for vacation should make all attempts to eat at A Fish Called Avalon, it is over the top great. Do not be alarmed that it is in the heart of Ocean Drive, which can be entertaining and full of okay restaurants at best. My wife had the macadamia nut encrusted flounder and it was beyond delicious,... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for that dazzling review! We’ve been serving fine cuisine on Ocean Drive for more than 25 years, keeping our standards extremely high even as downscale eateries have opened around us. South Beach has room for a variety of businesses, but we thank you for articulating the qualities that set us apart. We’re honored that you’ve put us... More

We went on a Sunday night. We sat outside and had a prime seat for people watching and enjoying the colorful cars cruising on Ocean Drive. We walked across to the beach and put our feet in the warm ocean water. A young man played music from the porch. The atmosphere and vibe was wonderful - and pure Miami ("who... More

We decided to go here for dinner and were told it was a 30 minute wait. No problem we'll just hangout at the worlds tiniest bar ever. We watched as the hostess actually seated someone who arrived after us, before us. My hubby was not happy. When the Hostess arrived she sat us at the very last outside table, on... More

my wife and I ate last weekend and really enjoyed the meal. The service was excellent and they two guys playing music were awesome, real nice night. I had the grouper and my wife had the snapper, when i go back again I would have the snapper, I think it was the better of the two.

We dined inside the restaurant. White tablecloths, fabulous servers, great atmosphere. Who doesn't like that? My husband ordered a ribeye which was wonderfully prepared. Some restaurants try to hide a cut of meat with sauces and seasonings. This steak honored the meat. I enjoyed a swordfish with tomato comfit and a risotto with gruyère. The tomato comfit added a tangy... More
