Eating out side on the terrace on Ocean Blvd. I must say everything was delicious. The server was great. He made great suggestion for appetizers. Snow crabs were in seasons and huge claws. One was plenty for each. We are the server suggestions. It was the nights choices macadamia snapper and another fish I can't think of. Wine choices were... More

From start to finish dinner at A Fish Called Avalon was amazing....seated outside watching life go by on Ocean Road. Marta was our most excellent server. We started with oysters and escargot followed by a salad of baby greens. Our mains were sea bass and snapper - both exquisitely cooked, accompanied by a bottle of French burgundy. We enjoyed a... I had the pleasure of having dinner here in February 2017, and what a treat. I started with some great oysters, and my main-course where a seafood risotto. It is probably the best risotto I've ever had. The staff is super attentive, but be aware - you need to pre-book if you want to eat outdoors. This is a popular... More

The view from the restaurant is a trip. Hot cars, hot people, and South Beach lights combine to make for a delectable evening. The wait staff was attentive but it did take a little time to get our bill. The food was perfect. We both had fish. Great evening.

Had a wonderful dinner with efficient and gracious service. The pompano special couldn't have been better and my husband's steak was perfect. Will definitely return.

Chose this restaurant because we wanted to fancy fish dinner on a special night. We did not disappoint, the food was excellent thus a bit overpriced. But OK, Christmas is just once a year! Service was excellent, the restaurant room well kept and neat.

I was looking for a restaurant in South Beach with a view of the ocean. This one was by far one of the nicest ones because it did not have loud blaring music or hostesses barking offers of 2-for-1 drinks. We sat outside and saw the moon rise over the ocean. I split the seafood paella (normally for two). It... More

This place is definitely one of the best if not the best dining establishments on Ocean Drive. We always visit when in Miami and are never disappointed...Yes of course a bit pricey but it is South Beach and the food is quality unlike some of the other restaurants that charge an arm and a leg and give you a low...
