A reservation is recommended for this restaurant or you will have to be prepared to wait a long time. We made a reservation on Open Table and were given a table for 2 on the patio. We chose the upper patio - that way you don't have pedestrians bumping into your chair etc. Although the food was great, and so... More

Right on South Beach - great for people watching. Sit outside to fully enjoy. Prix Fixe Menu changes monthly and is a great deal. Seafood was wonderful. Seafood risotto, crab cakes, key lime pie and cheesecake were excellent. Great ambiance and live music.

First and foremost - don't be fooled, do your research - there aren't too many decent and honest seafood spots in Ocean Drive. A Fish Called Avalon is certainly amongst the most genuine. All seafood is sourced locally and prepared fresh at the restaurant. The pictures I took should speak for themselves... the best crab & grouper I've had. Great... More

Longest 3 course meal ever! Swordfish was overcooked, dry and pricy. So unimpressed Only thing good was the sweet potatoe soup.

We did nit visit for a big meal so only had a main plate, both choosing Scampi Provençale. If you are going to visit in August there is a great 3-course Miami Spice Menu for $39, which many of the best restaurants on Miami Beach are providing

Dear Ian White , Sometimes a single, spectacularly well-prepared entrée is all that’s needed! Thank you for writing about how much you enjoyed our chef’s scampi Provençale, and for reminding readers that Miami Spice is going on now. The program lets diners enjoy several of our legendary specialties at a remarkably low price. And there is no extra charge for... More

Last night my friend and I had the pleasure to dine at this beautifully located restaurant. Initially the hostess wanted to give us a small table for two people. My friend and I requested a bigger table as we like to have some extra room when we dine. We were given a very nice table by the window which allowed... More

Perfect combination of elegance and South Beach vibrancy. Food and wine are very fairly priced. Service was best we've seen in Miami area.
