We really loved the atmosphere and the food at this place. They have indoor or outdoor dining, live music, and wonderful service. We had the mussels appetizer, the filet of Oscar, and the snapper dish with spinach risotto. All was very good!

This was our fifth time at this restaurant, so obviously we think it’s good. In fact, we ate there twice on this trip. It’s an expensive place, but well worth the price. One recommendation: the portions are very large, so be thoughtful about ordering both an appetizer and main course. Our waiter was helpful, fast and funny. They have both... More

We are in Miami for 2 nights and wanted to visit Ocean Drive and eat seafood. It's rockin' in Ocean Drive on a Saturday night. We ordered an octopus dish as an appetiser. We've had octopus in a few countries but this was the most tender I had ever eaten. Then or main course of Lobster tail.. Delicious. And music... More

We ate here last night and it was awesome. It's the only restaurant on the strip that does NOT have someone pestering people to eat there as you walk by. Our server was Marta and she was great. She explained everything well, got everything right and didn't rush our dinner. The food was impeccable: the octopus app, the chopped salad,... More

We had a tremendous meal with fresh seafood, good conversation and a stellar live band. It was Saturday night (7/9/16) and it seemed like the band played just for us, since our table was in front. The music and the atmosphere were outstanding, and even the dessert was good. I never eat dessert! Well, done AFCA!

On a quick weekend getaway our hotel concierge recommend A Fish called Avalon. After walking past numerous restaurant choices on Ocean Drive where servers and hostess were trying to get your business we were pleasantly surprised at this wonderful oasis. The food was wonderful and the service superb. We didn't feel rush at all. Enjoyed a delicious seafood special and... More

Avalon was just past some very noisy music bars full of rowdy millennials at an "advanced stage of refreshment"......it's good to people having fun but we didn't necessarily want them to share. However the place was fine and the noise stayed down the street! We had, inevitably, fish. It was superb as was my mixed ceviche starter served in glowing... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your note about the memorable dinner you had with us. We really enjoyed hearing from you and appreciate your praise of our cocktails and our cuisine. Chef Kal’s key lime pie is legendary and you are kind to spread the word about it. It may well be the standard by which all other key lime... More
