We've been to Osteria twice during Miami Spice and loved the food, the restaurant and the great service. Staff is extremely friendly, spice menu is a great deal as you have fine dishes like beef carpacio, salmon. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely go there again, Miami spice of not.

Gilbert, the owner personally welcomes you and checks on you thru out your visit. The waitstaff takes care of everybody with good humor and expert knowledge of their extensive menu. The Food?, we rate it bar far one of the finest meals we have ever eaten. Perfect hand made ravioli, rack of lamb, succulent mussels and lavish apple and chocolate cake for dessert. Nothing could be improved. Simply the best and huge surprise for Miami Beach. Thanks Wilnaj, our server for an unforgettable experience and Thanks Gilbert for the Limoncello.

This restaurant came highly recommended and wow did it live up to its reputation.
Service was outstanding and so was the meal.
I would highly recommend this restaurant .
With so many restaurants in in Miami that are overpriced low quality service it’s hard to find one with a warm atmosphere , First class service and FANTASTIC food.
5 out of 5 stars all the way.

Disclaimer: if you live in New York, this place will not compare.
Bread: bland and hard
Appetizer: fried buffalo mozz was very good...sauce on top of it was tasteless
Dinner: sea bass was great, light and fresh, but since when do restaurants serve a side of canned green beans? Ravioli had hard edges and the pesto it was in was way too strong.
Service: server was nice and offered to remake the pesto but we declined...he brought out tiramisu which was nice but it tasted like it was a week old.
Enough leftovers for another meal and we declined to bring them home.
Wine would have made this much better!

Thank you very much for your honest feedback, it has been passed along to management for their consideration. To clarify, we do not use canned bean beans, everything in our kitchen is fresh and home made - including our pastas.
We hope you come back and we can make it up to you! We hope you enjoy our wine menu next time as well!

Osteria is one of our favorite restaurants in Miami beach, we have been many times. It is usually 5 stars across the board, but just was not the same during our last visit, maybe because of covid?
The service is usually amazing, but was not very good this past time. We had a difficult time understanding our server and she was not very helpful describing menu options.
We sent back a few cocktails, because they just did not taste very good. Overall the food was very good, as it usually is. But it was just not the same experience as it usually is. Hopefully it will be better next time!

My wife and I visited Osteria Del Teatro in January. Overall we had an excellent experience. The two most important things a restaurant can provide are high quality food and service. Osteria Del Teatro delivers on both accounts. The food was great and the service was even better. Granted, the restaurant is not cheap, but if you don't mind spending a bit more money you should find it is well worth it.

We called at the last minute to make reservations for our large party They were more than accommodating. The service was friendly and very professional. The food was like eating a home cooked meal. This is a definite must try when you visit There are so many great choices of items on their menu

Last night we tried Osteria del Teatro, I had been here years ago in the old location, so this was my first time in the new location even though they moved about 3 years ago, the space is really beautiful inside, really nice atmosphere, outdoor you have the crazy busy Collins Avenue so, if you go, I would recommend to sit inside.
We had the Miami Spice dinner which is good value, I have to say that the regular menu looked a bit expensive and the food we had was ok, nothing amazing, I would say average, in all honesty I was hoping for better, I thought it was better when I went years ago, also the presentation of the dishes not the best. There are so many restaurants in Miami Beach and the competition is very high so I think there is a lot of room for improvement if you want.

First of all the manger Gilbert was so accommodating and passionate about the job. His leadership skills shinned through snd through. Then our server Rafael brought us home with first class service. The food was authentic and they sing Happy Anniversary to us without requesting it. What a way to spend our anniversary; quality food great people and excellent atmosphere!

During a recent trip to Miami, we had dinner at this amazing Italian restaurant, located in the Art Deco area of South Beach.
The restaurant, located inside the Marlin Hotel, is very stylish and a great place for any special occasion.
The staff was very friendly, professional and very attentive to us.
They have a full bar and incredible wine menu. We had a bottle of the Petra Hebo Tuscan Red and for dinner the Taglierini Neri con Frutti di Mare in Zafferano (Black Squid Ink Linguini with Seafood in a Saffron Cream Sauce). It was incredible and their pastas are made in house.
For dessert we had their Tiramisu which was also incredible. They make their desserts in house as well, so they can change daily.
I can't recommend this restaurant enough and I look forward to visiting them again when I'm in the area.

A 5 minute walk from the beach you will find this hidden gem of an Italian restaurant. The menu has all the traditionals, and there is a variety of daily specials to choose from as well. A compact wine list, which sadly leaves out the vintages of the various wines, making it somewhat difficult for the guest. There is, after all, a big difference between a 2012 and 2019 Barolo.....
Service is attentive and friendly, and the food generally good. The portion sizes are, like most places in the US, rather big, so think twice before ordering 3 courses!

Say homemade pasta and we’re IN! Osteria del Teatro did not disappoint with delicious food and a comfortable, yet elegant, atmosphere.
There wine list was good. We enjoyed a very nice Brunello. The manager, Gill, was there throughout the meal ensuring that wine and water glasses were properly filled and taking great pride in his establishment.
A minor knock might be the speed at which the food came. I know they are in a tourist area, and other tables might desire speedy service but with the quality of the meal, I would have relished a bit more pacing.
That said, it was a wonderful experience and I truly enjoyed my pappardelle de astice. Give them a try - you won’t be disappointed!!

If I am being totally honest, we found South Beach to be "a little much" so when we walked into this beautiful restaurant we were so pleasantly surprized. It was warm and inviting a welcome place away from the crowds. The service was friendly and efficient but not intrusive. The food was excellent. While this wasn't an inexpensive meal, it was worth every cent. If you are looking for a special night out I would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

I haven’t been to this restaurant in perhaps 25 years, back when they were in Washington Avenue. We went with another couple, who are real foodies. I was worried that it wasn’t going to be as good as had remembered it from so many years ago.
We were not disappointed. The service was great, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more engaging, and the food was delicious, from the breads, appetizers, salads, and entrees to the dessert. Oh, and the drinks before dinner were excellent as well. The ambiance was also exceptional once you got off of Collins Avenue.

The food was amazing and the service was very attentive and personable. This restaurant has been open for over 35 years and it shows. The owner and waitstaff seem like family and this family environment makes the patrons feel very welcome. Overall, great experience.
