Ordered the special lobster and it was falling apart mush. Terrible. Few others ordered the same thing and it was okay. I let them know mine wasn't good at all and didn't eat anything past a bite- after a half Hour of the waiter talking to the manager they took off 20 dollars instead of the 55 the meal cost.... More

I've been here several times although the last time was almost ten years ago but it's still good. The food was very tasty but watch the prices. Some things are very reasonable but others (such as the daily specials) can get overpriced. The mojito's are very good but small and expensive. It's a nice place to dine inside our out... More

I am glad that we did not read Trip Advisor reviews beforehand because we would have been extremely disappointed. It is not good food, Cuban or otherwise. I ordered shrimp and rice, and the sauce tasted suspiciously like a can of Del Monte tomatoes with peppers. Service was fast and indifferent. Look beyond Lincoln Road if you want a quality... More

The name is all, Young Urban Cuban American. Cuban food with an American twist. All the food was delicious but especially their meat dishes were excellent. Average Miami Beach price level (which is a bit highesh), great service and tables on the street watching people on awarm night, just nice.

Spent $120 on the worst meal I've had in a long time. Grim and small starter and even worse main (pork with black stuff). My partners wine tasted like it had been watered down. What a letdown. Grim grim grim. Felt ripped off as I left.

We asked our bellhop for his local favorite Cuban place and he sent us to Yuca. The restaurant was packed but with no reservation we still got a table. We waited probably 10 minutes for anyone to greet us and once our server arrived we ordered everything to not wait any longer. The food from the empanadas to salmon tatare... More

Best Cuban eatery in Miami Beach. Our server was very polite and was a great person. Just needed to smile more! Love the waiters in their hats too, it made the scenery! A little pricey but well worth it. It's in Miami Beach and it's all pricey there! A must go place!

Description
YUCA, an acronym for Young Urban Cuban-Americans, is widely known as being South Florida's original upscale Cuban restaurant featuring Innovative Nuevo Latino Cuisine or as the locals call it "Nuevo Latino." This style of cooking includes traditional Latin ingredients such as a plethora of textures, colors, and flavors that when combined creates a cuisine that is unique to anything offered outside of the Caribbean and Latin America.
