I am a foodie. My husband is a foodie. We eat. Enjoy. Experiment. Travel. But, the meals we had in Pescheria are unforgetable. Sword fish and tuna, some insane mix of spices and sauces, excellent drinks, and amazing chocolate dessert. Eat eat eat. I'd come back to Miami only for the food in Pescheria! (yes, it is more expensive than... More

Trying to settle in on a place for lunch on Espanola way we settled on the Mercato for their $40 for two lunch with a glass of wine each. We would have liked to have been seated outdoors but it was just too hot. The inside has a nice whimsy appearance and we took the window seat. I ordered the... More

Very pushy waiter who claimed he was going to bring us the chef specials not on the menu....that should have been our first warning. What came out was ok, but not worth the $300 for a family of 4.

NOTE: Cafe Nuvo is now called "MERCATO DELLA PESCHERIA" My wife and I stumbled upon this place while walking along the ultra-touristy Espanola Way. The street is a very charming, pedestrian-only promenade and clearly catered to trap tourists with each restaurant and bar openly soliciting passer-byers - somewhat like Ocean Drive although classier. We were both hungry so after a... More

We came here only for an appetizer and a drink and we had the best meal in an entire week. Great special appetizer with a mix of lobster, crab rice cake, and a fabulous sauce. Wow. The typical calamari that I was craving about was equally great. The staff was super caring and the food was suggested by our great... More

The inside of the restaurant is pretty and cozy, customers can sit inside or outdoors. Good location in South Beach. Parking is a problem. The food was good. I asked for a dish that included butternut squash with the fish. When the dish arrived, I asked the server where was the butternut squash and she pointed at the sauce and... More

I was very suprised by the sheer price of this eatery. It was not advertised that a service fee was added and it was way too expensive for the service and the food they offered.
