We visited the Forge on a Friday night. Even though the place was packed, the service was exceptional. Our server Jergen was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond to ensure we were having a good time and he visited our table frequently. We're definitely coming back!

As someone who frequents the forge often and considers it her favorite destination, I didn't think there was any more to love than I already did...then we met dean The sommelier!! He was amazing!! From the tour of the incredible wine cellar to the recommendations of wine, he took a regular Thursday night dinner to the next level. As usual,... More

We arrived to be whisked into a decadent room beyond my expectations. The room had the biggest framed mirror I have ever seen. Its worth going just to see the restaurant. The lighting and the music let down the experience with random dim then bright purple lights making it difficult to read the menu. The music was just far too... More

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your dining experience at The Forge, especially the décor, service and steaks. We are sorry that the music was too loud for you, though. Our Library dining room features a more quiet ambiance, if you would like to try that area out the next... More

The Forge has been a fixture on Miami Beach for many years . Constantly reinventing itself, one thing that's standard is great food and service with a phenomenal wine list. The vueve Cliquot happy hour is a crowd pleaser on Friday night. Since Dad prefers a more intimate experience with the family, we choose to sit in the library, surrounded... More

We took advantage of a Travelzoo promotion and had dinner at the Forge. We did step away from the prix fixe menu. We had a lovely tuna tartare followed by beef tartare. Then the main event with onion soup with filet mignon. For desserts my wife had chocolate lava cake and I had the pineapple coconut panna cota. Our server... More

We had a lovely dinner last night. We enjoyed everything included in the Gilt deal: the ceviche, the wedge salad, the filet mignon and the lava cake. And the Cabernet was good too. We also ordered the truffle mac & cheese and a glass of champagne with the dessert. Our server was Javier--he was great! He also made sure Gino,... More

A great evening with friends in a historic slice of Miami Beach The Forge was a go to for years back in the day for all sorts of special occasions. We haven't been in a long long time and decided to take advantage of a special offered on Travel Zoo. We went with another couple on a Sunday evening and... More

My husband and I have started a tradition to go every year for our anniversary. The food is always perfect and the service is amazing. They make amazing Lemon Drop martinis as well. I look forward to returning!

Wow! Where to begin with The Forge? Hard to start. Number one word--Pretentious. Number two--Mediocre, truly mediocre cuisine. Not good. Especially for a high end restaurant with high end prices. Food is a C or D, experience is a D. Very well designed restaurant in terms of design, and I am a designer by trade. However, don't go for food... More

Description
The Forge is one of South Florida's most legendary steakhouses, dating back to 1969 on Miami Beach. The award-winning restaurant is not your grandfather's steakhouse - although it once was. With its modern décor, ambiance and philosophy, The Forge has undergone a total makeover, the overall design and décor was executed by Francois Frossard. Walls of hand-carved blonde wood and antique mirrors, lilac and white crystal chandeliers, a wall of bubbles - are perfectly interspersed with the historical pieces that adorn the space. Every diner's seat is "the best in the house." The open floor plan of the 6,000-square-foot space allows guests to see and be seen. Executive Chef Julia Doyne presents a 65-item menu along with a delicious Dessert Menu. Finally, there's a labyrinth-like Wine Cellar with eight-rooms devoted to the rarest vintages in the world, and even a secret, lux private dining room, which seats up to 25 guests. The bar offers guest 64 Enomatic's wines by the ounce.
