Katsuya sets the bar in quality, taste, service, and ambiance. For me its the perfect "South Beach" experience restaurant. Yes, it is expensive, however they do deliver on every measure you could gauge a restaurant by. The staff are all super professional, prompt, friendly, but not overly involved at your table. Our first time, among many now, Andres was great... More

Unique and delightful sushi, if not the best value. But then again you don't go to South Beach looking for value. This was the best place we ate on our trip.

If you are looking for a fine Japanese restaurant I'd definitely recommend Katsuya. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared amongst ourselves. The food was exquisite! Be sure to make a reservation ahead of time, it tends to be pretty pack especially during the weekends.

Enjoyed the scene at Katsuya. I had read a lot about the restaurant and enjoyed many of their signature dishes. Creative menu and the staff were well versed.

Expect extremely fresh fish served with a twist here. Try their toro, one of a kind! Lobster roll is a classic but executed with amazing ingredients so give it a try.

Great restaurant located in the SLS hotel. It was a little hard to find, since you have to walk through the hotel and another restaurant to get to Katsuya. Service was perfect and the food was amazing. Definitely get the Black Cod.

I tried many dishes and enjoyed them all, very pleasing to the palate. I was pleasing surprised that I completed each dish with the traditional chopsticks.

The Katsuya is located in the SLS Hotel. The food and atmosphere at Katsuya were incredibly great as was the welcoming staff. So much so that we ate here two nights in a row. We both had the skirt steak which was more tender and delicious than filets I've had at most steakhouses. To accompany the steak we had Robata... More

We recently visited based on a local recommendation and Katsuya did not disappoint. The sushi was extremely fresh and the service was excellent. This is a very pricey restaurant for Sushi similar to Nobu. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Miami Beach! Everything we ate was incredible!

Katsura is the restaurant to visit when in Miami South Beach. Sit at the bar and watch the food being prepared. Black Cod is the best I have ever tasted!
