We visited Bolivar while on a South Beach food tour, and we liked it so much that we returned for dinner one night. Bolivar is unique in the Miami area as, rather than focus on the food of one country, they offer dishes from various countries (such as Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, etc). They have a full bar, but we tasted... More

A great place to eat. Food from all over Latin American. Wonderful atmosphere. Had a dish from Venezuela. A seafood dish from snapper. Jane had a Columbian dish with salmon. Great flavor and freshness. Will be back the next time I am in South Beach. Come to eat, you will not be disappointed.

Our last evening in South Beach, we extremely enjoyed the Ceviche 6 shot sampler plus cheese and chorizo tray and 7 tapas sampler with sautéed spinach, black beans, coconut rice, artichoke hearts, yuca, calamari. Happy hour! Yummy mojitos, caphrianas...

Went here as our "last night" dinner and it was beyond amazing! Atmosphere= Beautiful Food=delicious. Service= SPECTACULAR! Decent price, large portions. We also accidentally slipped we were celebrating a Birthday and Bolivar made it super special. (But no spoilers, you'll need to see for yourself!) A+++++

We had some amazing food here, the best we had in Miami. It's tapas style of eating is great when with friends. Drinks were great but beware of the white sangria... It's strong! We also got to watch some salsa dancing, which was good fun.

This is must visit. So many delicious Latin flavors. The steaks are so good, churrasco from Argentina was great. Good prices and fun atmosphere. Get off of rip off ocean Blvd and try this one.

We were taken here on a food tour and it is absolutely wonderful. We could order extra if we wished. There is a combination drink of the Columbian light beer mixed with another Columbian drink that is very light and pleasing. The ceviche is wonderful. We also shared other foods brought to us. Any good rating is truly deserved. The... More

Visited on Saturday evening, didn't make a reservation but we got a table without problems. Starter (ceviche) was nice but main course was disappointing. Very salty and instead of fried potatoes my dish had soggy French fries in the sauce.. Waiterress was too busy and it was at times difficult to get her attention. Music was very loud, making conversation... More
