Great place to explore South American cousine

Alas! Whilst I enjoyed the service, having eaten the Argentinian Steak Skirt, I was violently ill for 6 days of our holiday. As such I can't recommend this place. Maybe just bad luck?

Bolivar is a great place. So far, of the many South Beach establishments I have been to, this is the best. The food really is excellent and the staff is personable and professional. Bolivar already ranks close to the top 20 of the almost 1000 restaurant's in Trip Advisor's Miami area. There is a reason for that and that is... More

It was an enjoyable evening spent at this restaurant. What one really should try is their homemade lemonade – yummy! And their tapas - especially Columbian sausage, they have a good deal to choose from. We had tapas first and then the entrée, but some of us said that we should’ve stuck to the tapas, even though I couldn’t complain... More

Ate here on a Saturday night. Reserved a table on TA and had no problem being seated. The server and hostess and all of the employees were very friendly and easy on the eyes. Menu was not that complicated, unlike other South Beach locales and they have a great deal for 7 plates of Tapas for I think $38. Although... More

What a great restaurant with fantastic service and food. Our waiter Tomas was very friendly as was the whole staff. The corn chowder with shrimp was so good and the skirt steak was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Amazing, delicious food from Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina and Brazil. They have plenty appetizers, ceviche and tapas to choose from. Our group tried to sample it all. See the Menu and decide for yourself.

Above is quote from spouse. Just the two of us. No outside seating (yet, says waitress Luisa). Had a nice wine. Started with Tamal which was very tasty, and enough to split. If we were to do it again, we'd do the tapas plate. As it was, each ordered a dinner, either of which we could have split and fed... More

The food was great, we got the tapas selection, lots of different flavours and very well presented. The staff very were friendly and helpful. They had a singer which was lovely, the only problem we had was the restaurant was so dark, very few lights, had to get my phone out to shine on the menu to read it but... More
