Marcus Samuelsonn did it again, we were not disappointed. Attractive restaurant with an open kitchen, lots of wood, modern clean lines. As soon as we walked inside the smell of chicken overwhelmed us, it was incredible. The menu made it so difficult to choose, everything looked delicious. We went expecting to share the 1/2 a chicken, we couldn't stop at that. Our waiter was on point, very accommodating and attentive.
I didn't realize my husband loves southern biscuits, he started with half an order that he enjoyed. The St Louis Ribs looked fabulous and the presentation was memorable, wish I could share the video here! We had an assortment of sauces which were perfect. The jalapeño cornbread arrived in a small cast iron pan, it was just sooooo good. We brought half of our meal home, enjoying the chicken and ribs with sauces too, everything was beautifully wrapped.
We've discovered that many of our favorite NYC restaurants are less expensive in Florida, unfortunately Yardbird isn't.

Great food and service! Hubs had the fried chicken and brussel sprouts and I had the lobster Mac and cheese. We shared the cornbread and even splurged on deep fried Oreos for dessert. Very cool place! Highly recommend

Yurguen waited on us and explained that the menu items were served home-style. The dishes are meant to be shared. While we perused the menu and enjoyed our surroundings, we enjoyed cocktails. My husband had Makers Mark 46 and I had the Yardbird Manhattan with bacon infused Wild Turkey and maple syrup. Surprise, it wasn't too sweet and qualifies as my best Manhattan ever. We shared exceptionally good biscuits along with fabulous deviled eggs, We then enjoyed the fried chicken and the street corn. Delicious!

Visited here with two friends when visiting Miami after reading all the great reviews but was left quite disappointed. First off the waiter came across quite creepy throughout, repeatedly winking at me to the point I felt uncomfortable. Also, be aware before visiting that during happy hour the cocktails etc are only available while seated at the bar (we had to negotiate to be able to have these drinks at the table we had booked). For food we opted for the biscuits, crispy brussels sprouts and the chicken, watermelon & waffles. Whilst the food was all of good quality, the chicken which is sold as a ‘sharing’ dish is ridiculously overpriced at $38 amounting to 4 small pieces and a few bites each (one person could easily have eaten this alone). We all left hungry after spending $35 each and went elsewhere. Would not return.

We visited Miami for our honeymoon and beforehand came across Yardbird and decided whilst there we would give it a go. We definitely weren't disappointed! Our server was so knowledgeable and really talked us through the menu and gave us her personal reccomendations from the menu.
The chicken was hands down the best chicken either of us have ever tasted! We still talk about it to this day!! We can't wait to come back one day and try it again.

The atmosphere was fun, the service was excellent! What is Excellent? attentive without constantly bothering. They made great recommendations on food. The family had a great time. The food came out when completed which was fine for us but if you are there with younger kids get an appetizer that comes out earlier. This restaurant made our trip and we will be back!

We were 20 min late to our reservation in COVID time and we knew that because of limited capacity, we needed a reservation so we were ready to wait 30 min to an hour. They told us they expected us to have to wait 45 min and said we could grab a drink at the bar. In the time that we went to order a drink at the bar they cleared us a table and the bartender who was actually amazing not only making and recommending drinks but providing incredible service, he was our waiter. We had some fantastic cocktails, the fried chicken was AMAZING but it's hot, so be careful. We got the biscuits and deviled eggs as the appetizers, both incredible. The deviled eggs are a little pickley so only get them if you like pickles. The mac and cheese, WOW and the french fries and buttermilk ranch, WILD. We didn't have room for dessert but I wish we had cause everything else was amazing. He even brought us a little taste test of some great Irish creams as dessert since we had discussed different drinks with him. The manager was there and checked in with us. Overall, very safe, impeccable service, and the perfect southern meal.

Bourbon drinks, Southern comfort food, and a lively crowd make this a must-see on any South Beach visitor’s agenda.
We ordered the biscuits, fried green tomatoes, and fried chicken and waffles with spiced watermelon, served with maple bourbon syrup. Fantastic!!
The Southern Revival bourbon drink was also delish. We were so happy to have found this place (recommended by Petrus from our hotel; the Sagamore). It was fantastic!

Yardbird serves those big, heavy Southern dishes you know will put you out for the next six hours, but you happily eat anyway because they’re that good. Fried chicken is the main attraction here, and the best way to get it is in the chicken ‘n’ watermelon waffles.

We've been to Yardbird numerous times, and the quality of the food never ceases to amaze us. Over and above the incredible fried chicken, I would highly recommend their pulled brisket in biscuits (it's an order of 2 small sandwiches that can be shared as a starter), the superb wedge salad, and the completely over the top corn bread that's baked with cheddar cheese, jalapeno peppers, and bacon. It comes in a huge skillet and is large enough for at least 4 persons to share (though you might be reluctant to share any of it!). When the restaurant manager (who is originally from Vancouver, Canada) identified us as fellow Canadians from our accent, he came over to the table to chat with us, not once, but twice. He then was so kind as to treat us to dessert. Our only disappointment was that the restaurant discontinued its grilled romaine salad, which we used to love

I was here for brunch on a Saturday. I was solo and found a seat at a shared table. Larger groups were waiting for tables. Had heard raves about the chicken but my waiter steered me to fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and pork belly. Glad I listened! Also enjoyed the turmeric and ginger drink I ordered.

Sadly we had heard this was a good food option and the reviews left us expecting great things.
The lady on the door was lovely - she definitely welcomed us, however it went down hill from there. Our waiter was not overly attentive and with 2 youngish hungry children, it makes for a longer wait until food orders are taken. Our elder daughter ordered a drum stick meal and being European, we don’t expect big portions, however a small single drumstick and a measly portion of chips left her very hungry. In comparison to our other child, the portions didn’t compare. We had to wait and wait until we could get someone with a request for ketchup. We asked politely and had it thrown on our table by a girl who wasn’t our server. We were both extremely taken aback as it is just not what we expected given our politeness.
We hadn’t finished and the waiter kept coming over asking us if we were finished. We said no, which we thought was obvious given the forks in our hands and food on our plate. He came back a minute later with the same request and then a 3rd time 5 minute later. We felt harassed and disappointed given the only time we could get service was when he wanted us to finish up. I wouldn’t mind if we had taken ages, but we had not even been there an hour.
I’ve since had 4 emails asking for a review in the space of 48 hrs in my email box. Slightly overbearing.
The food wasn’t overly spectacular and management need to train some of the staff on basic customer service. We had a lot better for most of our time during our stay in Miami elsewhere.

Just exceptional food & service. One of the best if not the best biscuits (w/honey butter, house-made jam) anywhere for starters. For dinner was the Lewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken - their famous bird served with honey hot sauce and their awesome St Louis ribs. Then for dessert was their deep fried oreos (Oreo ice cream, chocolate sauce, Rice Krispie) Alan our server was attentive and knew the menu. His recommendations were spot on! Would definitely go back.

The menu is definitely southern with some nice surprises and twist along the way. Our server Matthew was excellent! I’m very big on service and he was attentive, answered all our questions and made great menu recommendations. We enjoy bourbon and their bourbon selection was a draw to this restaurant for our group. The cocktail list is great as well. We ordered the Lewellyn’s fine fried chicken, Chicken ‘n’ watermelon ‘n’ waffles, Nashville hot yardbird chicken, Lobster mac and cheese which was a whole lobster, Fried green tomato BLT, Southern street corn and Skillet cornbread. All the dishes were scrumptious, the food quality great, execution and presentation A+. Well worth a try if you’re looking for well executed comfort food.

This was recommended by a friend in NY, as a must dine, and they were right! We ordered deviled eggs, (super creamy, and well seasoned), the butter lettuce mango salad with candied pecans ( just the right mix of sweet and savory, mangos we're super sweet and juicy), signature chicken and waffles ( definitely rivals of Rosco's or Sylvia's - chicken done to perfection with rich, moist layered tasting waffles), sides of mac & cheese (cooked to delight, with cheesy inside, and baked panko topping, and crispy brussel sprouts ( layered with a savory honey glaze)... the southern biscuits are a must. Top it all off with, the blackberry bourbon lemonade, ending with mini, nutella filled beignets. You will definitely need a wheelbarrow and an Uber to make it home.
