My husband and I had a delightful lunch here. The food served was actually really good. Success on the dive bar/restaurant atmosphere. As we were paying we realized our stay at the Miami Marriott South Beach Stanton hotel earned us 2 free margaritas. Which we enjoyed!

Lolo's Surf Cantina on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach is a great place to go for all things delicious tacos, drinks, and much more in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. I really like the outdoor space that they have here and being able to enjoy the fresh air. The staff here is very accommodating and makes sure that you have everything that you need.

I stayed at the Stanton hotel and this restaurant was attached to it. Service inside the restaurant was timely, when I ordered food by the pool or beach it seemed to take a while. They could improve on that.

First off, I have to say that we love mexican food and we eat enough of it to know the difference between good and bad mexican eats. We arrived a few minutes after 7;00 and the hostess/waitress quickly told us that they were closing in 30 min. They actually close at 8:00. We asked if we had enough time to order and eat and she said yes, so we stayed. She was friendly although not very talkative. We ordered the chips and salsa, and carnitas tacos (we love our tacos and try to eat some whenever we travel). I don't know what they were thinking with the salsa, but it literally tasted like canned tomato sauce! There was nothing in it! No cilantro, onions, garlic, no flavor at all! I had to ask them how they made it because we were so surprised by the taste! The chips we're obviously premade, bagged chips. They we're okay, nothing special. The tacos we're terrible. They were cold and tasted like crockpot roast beef. Nothing at all like carnitas! We spent over $40 on food that my kids could make taste better than what we had! Needless to say, we won't be spending any more money to try their burritos or anything else on their menu. I wonder why all the good reviews? Did we catch them on a bad day? I don't know. I do know that if you want real, authentic tasting mexican food, go somewhere we because this isn't it.

We could've had a better experience here, but I believe they might have been short staffed. We stayed at the Marriott Stanton (the hotel that the restaurant is onsite at), and received vouchers for 2 free 8oz frozen margaritas. We used our vouches, and the margaritas were tasty. We later tried the margaritas on the rocks, and the drink was too sour for me that I couldn't finish it. The chips tasted stale both times we ordered them - once from the beach and once in the restaurant. My husband and I ordered a quesadilla to share and it was the perfect size and was cooked as expected. You really can't go wrong with Mexican food most of the time. The guacamole also tasted very good, but the salsa had the consistency of a tomato paste with little flavor which surprised me. This was just our experience, I read through other reviews, and it seems others had good experiences. I wouldn't claim to be a Mexican cuisine connoisseur by any means, so take my words with a grain of salt.

Delicious breakfast with large portions. You will likely have left overs. Each breakfast meal came with a side spring salad - very refreshing. We didn't call ahead to reserve outside seating but observed that other guests did- so if you'd like to sit outside try to call ahead to reserve a place. Worth the cost.

Me and two friends stopped in for a quick appetizer and a couple of drinks. My buddy ordered two Bloody Mary’s and I got a strawberry daiquiri. The daiquiri is listed for $11 on the menu. I paid $19. They charged my buddy $14 for the vodka and $8 for the Bloody Mary mix — $22 per drink. Long story short, we had 6 drinks, an order of $5 chips and salsa and an order of $7 cheese fries. Total cost… $165. Waitress’ excuse was she used high end alcohol and we are in South Beach. We had just spent the whole week in South Beach. Yes, it’s expensive, but, GiGi flat played us. We went to Joe’s Stone Crab later that evening. Drinks, high end dinner with lobster and crab, high end service… $175. Do Not go to LoLo’s.

We were staying at the Staton and this restaurant is connected. Upon arrival we went in for a quick bite to eat and our complimentary margaritas. Margaritas did not come even after our food arrived. I had to go to the bar to ask for them .... we finally received them after we were done eating. We ate breakfast here every day as part of our Marriott Elite status. Very limited menu and unlike other Marriotts you can not upgrade to the regular menu. Service was okay most days and good our last day (Jose is the best waiter in the place!)

I am a south beach local and I work in hospitality so I came very often to this place and even recommended it to most of my guest specially on Tuesday because the tacos are half off. Due to high season I missed coming for about 2 months. When I arrived the had changed everything . The happy hour was no longer from 5-9 and the quality of the tacos decreased. I ordered 6 tacos and they were horrible. I asked to speak to the manager since I recommended all the guest to this establishment about all the changes and he was the rudest person I have ever meet in my life. I will never recommend for any guest to visit that place again. Horrible experience.. nothing like the past .

We asked for chips, salsa & guacamole. He asked “red or green salsa”, we asked for both. When the bill came we were charged for 2 orders of chips and salsa, the order of chips & guac and then for a “refill” of chips. My hell! The red salsa was bland. Green was ok, not great. Guacamole was average. Street tacos & carnitas tacos were not good. Quesadilla was fine. Margaritas were gross; cheap tequila. Service was slow even though it wasn’t very busy. Honestly had a stomach ache when we finished eating.

We enjoyed some lovely food and drink at Lolo’s during our stay at the Stanton hotel. Breakfast menu is very comprehensive and even if you’re not into Mexican food there’s plenty of more traditional American options. As for all day snacks, if you like things spicy I recommend trying Lolo’s fries. Cocktails were all extremely good. As we were staying at the hotel we received a voucher at check-in that entitled us to 2 complimentary house Margaritas. Service was also spot-on and we would certainly return if staying in the area in future.

Visited here last weekend with family members as we were staying in the Marriott hotel that is attached to this restaurant. We had 12 members in our group and asked for separate checks. This caused the food to be made at separate times and after the first family received their food it was approx 15 minutes before the next family in our group received theirs. So approx 30 minutes between first group receiving food and last group. The problem was I looked around and there were only approx 10 other people in the entire restaurant. So not sure what the problem was. Food was average and small portions. Would not visit again not recommend.

The vibe is retro Mexican surf bar. The staff are very kind. The restaurant not only has indoor and outdoor service but also does poolside and beech side service at the Marriott Stanton. It is super convenient. We had tacos and a burrito bowl. The street tacos are spicy so not the best idea if spice isn’t your thing. The Birra tacos were great. The Baja ish tacos were great. Wasn’t quite as in love with the shrimp tacos

We had a great experience at this little restaurant. We went in for a drink and ended-up having some super yummy bean dip, and what might be the best churros we have eaten (perfectly crunchy on the outside/soft and warm on the inside). The service here was friendly, and we never felt rushed. The next time we are in South Beach we will pop in and try some of their menu items.

Went here several times on our trip to Miami Beach because it is attached to the Marriott Stanton and this is one of their restaurants. Food is good - GREAT tacos, quesedillas, breakfasts were very good (alot of good variety). Drinks are good, blended, margs, beer selection. Service is REALLY slow here and inconsistent. Every day was a different experience with attitudes, speed, competency.
