The restaurant is based on a french creperie come bistro. Great crepes, lovely atmosphere and friendly service.

We were having a wander in the area, and there is a Destry and Street which is pretty grim at one and also commercial, but a little bit further down this restaurant are you still close but has a completely different feel to the area...and was very nice. You can eat inside or outside and the food was very good. Also the drinks prices were far more reasonable than The crazy prices in South Beach. The staff there were also great and good to talk to. We ended up going twice in our stayMore

Went to a La Folie for lunch because of great reviews. I was really looking forward to buckwheat crepes. My mom had a spinach and cheese crepe. The spinach was completely raw and the cheese was dry. The crepe itself was ok. Her little salad...had rotten greens with a slice of tomato that was too green to eat. My plate had some red sauce caked on the side of it that was not part of my meal. My crepe was better than my mom’s with in house poached pears, cheese, and walnuts. This is a reason for adding an extra star. I also had some apple cider from “France” that was a little flat but I did order a 2nd glad just because it’s the best drink to have to crepes. The service was very flat. Our waitress looked right at my mom’s rotten salad that she did eat but said nothing. I would not recommend this place. BE AWARE THERE IS 18 % TIP ADDED TO ALL CHECKS. So many fantastic places to eat in Miami Beach that I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money.More

This cafe is open seven days a week from breakfast till late to serve quality French style breakfasts, crepes, sandwiches as well asmore elaborate dishes, till 12 am.. Between Collins Avenue and Washington Avenue , Espanola Way contains numerous lively eating establishments. Located just steps...east of Washington, La Folie is a charming oasis of casual, unpretentious and charming calm. There is lots of outdoor seating both on Espanola Way and on the side of the restaurant. Everything we tasted seemed made from scratch and was delicious including a creamy pea soup, escargot and a spectacular pastry (pear tatin) and a super creamy violet ice cream. The cafe specialty is crepes, both sweets and savory dinner crepes. Additionally it offers a small range of other French specialties and some sandwiches. Wine is available. Service is informative and relaxed and prices are bargains. On the Sunday evening of our visit the customers around us all appeared to be knowledgeable locals. Appears to be a place where one can comfortably sit and order anything from a beverage, a snack or an elaborate meal at any time.More

This is a FANTASTIC restaurant! Great food, we came back twice on our 3-day stay here in Miami. Great service, and such a relaxed, maybe even ‘romantic’ atmosphere! We felt like we were transposed to a sidewalk cafe in Paris! The cappuccino is sooo good!...Highly recommend this great place for breakfast! Also great service and value for money.More

Great spot. Off the main drags, but well worth the short walk. Very authentic French Cafe, fantastic food. Strongly recommend the crepes.

We escaped the noise of Espanola Way to this hidden gem for a late dinner. We sat outside in a nicely decorated back area with quiet French music, waiting for a while for the server to pick up our order. We had crepes and a...glass of wine. Crepes made with buckwheat flour were delicious and crispy and could be ordered either sweet or savory. I had Charlemagne filled with spinach, roquerfort cheese and topped toasted almonds, super tasty. A glass of Bordeaux was a perfect match. The menu offered also soups, salads, main entrees and breakfast. We enjoyed our experience a lot and noticed many French speaking customers visiting the restaurant. It is true - 18% gratuity was added automatically to the bill but we were happy with both food and service and didn't mind.More
