This place is a must while in Miami. I would recommend showing up at 5:30 if you would like to eat right away. Otherwise they open at 6pm and always have a line till 10pm. The atmosphere gets you talking with the group next to you and the sushi comes out on boats. If you don't see what you like... More

Wait time as always with people eager to get seated to taste their fresh seafood. This delicious sushi place is one of a kind hole in the wall type of place where their demand is always so big is good to show up early. Cruising boats on water trail brings you their most popular items but you can also request... More

One of the best values in Miami Beach and unfortunately too many people know about it. Usually you will have to wait at a minimum 20 minutes to get seated if you are lucky as waiting could be over an hour. My suggestion is to get there at 6:00 when they open. Service however is nonexistent and don't piss off... More

I like the sushi here- the sake and the eel and salmon w/ cream cheese are so yummy and priced well. I love the tempura banana. The lady who works there is so nice. Needs more chairs to sit and wait very uncomfortable to stand and wait long.

This place is different.... Not a fancy relaxing night out... But, they have delicious and fresh sushi for very good prices. There are always lines to get in, they don't take reservations and you will wait 30-45 minutes. The space it tiny, and it has the sushi going around on boats. The portions are 1/2 rolls and the prices are... More

Once when I went to katana I saw boats going around the table. I new it was sushi so when the waitress sat me at a table I grab the sushi from the boat. It was the best sushi I've ever tried. I would want to go to katana for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I would never get tired... More

Come to this place a few times, it was ok until this very last time where the restaurant was infested with food flies, the water under the boats was green... Descanting... and the guy making the sushi was not using gloves... Also in the middle of my dinner they started to sweep the floor and you could hear that, inside... More
