An very original place in the old center of Miami. The Italian food is very tasty : pastas, eggplants parmigiana. Nice team ! It’s worth it!

While looking for a place for lunch this place just called out to us. The ambiance was fun and inviting, as was the wait staff welcoming. The menu is basically italian, but there is something for everyone. The portions were very large and attractively plated....Recommend the pasta bolognese, all beef with an excellent tomato sauce. Wish we had had time for desert.More
My wife and I were in town for the weekend and always look for local places. This was recommended by David, a street vendor of bracelets, and we loved it. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. We enjoyed the small space...and live music.More
We placed a reservation for my parents to celebrate their birthday with a delicious dinner. The restaurant staff and owner went above and beyond to ensure my parents had a wonderful experience. They loved all of the food, the ambiance, and the live music. I...am happy we decided on Soya & Pomodoro. I highly recommend the restaurant. I will visit with my partner when in town!More
How interesting to eat in what seems like what used to be a pass through corridor/alley between historic buildings. The restaurant is somewhat open air with very tall ceilings and a smaller little section that has ac. It’s almost like you’re in Europe eating outdoors...in a narrow street with laundry lines above you from window to window. The decor is all mismatched and there is live jazz music being played. It gives you a lot to discuss! Then there’s the food. We always say if you will crave what you ate and want to go back again, it’s a good restaurant. It was! Classic bruschetta appetizer was perfect. I had the fettuccine with bolognese, so meaty and hearty and flavorful! My husband got the Stinco d’Agnello Brasato ai Carciofi- braised lamb shank in a white wine sauce & artichoke served w/mashed potatoes and he loved it. We enjoyed a bottle of red wine from Tuscany. Funny side note, I wandered to the back of the restaurant out of curiosity and there was an old fashioned photo shoot taking place back there. This place has all kinds of interesting stuff going on! We’ll be back and will bring friends because we know they’ll enjoy all this place has to offer.More
Stumbled across this restaurant when we arrived in Miami. Just wanted a drink, a sit down and a light bite. Food was delicious and staff were really helpful
Another great lunch at Soya e Pomodoro. Always greeted nicely. Good Arnold Palmer with Mint. The Saltimboca was tasty, the Flounder Special lunch delicious and great Coffee at a reasonable price. All we need and want for lunch.
A little hidden gem . Being first generation Italian I find it hard to go to Italian restaurants because I become so critical with the good . With that being said I absolutely loved our time here . From the staff to the delicious food...that was served. All of our friends enjoyed everything. Thank you Chef Cri for your personal touch and also thank you to all the wait staff that was so attentive to our needs . Will definitely be back .More
We went on a Wednesday night & couldn't have been made more welcome. Although situated in a less than salubrious part of Brickell it was well worth the effort. Very quirky , open dining rooms - one of which I gather offers Thursday night/weekend jazz....Authentic Italian flavours & family run. Very high service standards( our water glasses were never allowed to empty) , good value & great tasting dishes. Our kind of place for a nice dinner with the locals.Very nice Primitivo red. Never far in an Uber.More
I come here a lot but the music is so loud you can't hear the server. Our server last night (there were four of us) got the drinks wrong but we were fed up with shouting at her so we just accepted them. You can't...hear yourself think let alone chat. The food is good but the menu never changes. Once you've had everything you just stick to your favourites because even six months later it is exactly the same. Good but uninspired. The place and atmosphere is really great. It looks like the foyer of an old bank (I think it is) plus hanging underwear (!). The tables inside the main part are good, in the bit where there is the bar, not so good, but I wouldn't recommend you stay if they can only seat you on the pavement with the Miami traffic and wandering homeless people looking for a place. Why I haven't written a review before is because I don't come on Tripadvisor a lot. Why I've written one now is that the restaurant last night had a guitarist amplified so loud that not one of us enjoyed our special dinner out.More
The owner/manager is called Rosario. He's like a cartoon character out of a bad italian gangster movie, a very bad movie. I don't even know if that accent is real or he's actually from Cleveland? He seems like a nice guy, but you can see...the employees are in mortal terror of this petty tyrant. Heck, you need a firm hand to run a restaurant and the service business is tough but this guy takes the cake, well rather he brings you cake in a rush because he's dying to turn over the table to sit down the next guests. Whenever I want to see employees tortured and have a great laugh because the service is hit or miss, I know where to go. Ciao Bello!!!More

Despite many suits in the Restaurant, atmosphere was relaxed, very Italian. Decor takes you to an alley alfresco Restaurant in Italy. Service was good, food delicious and price reasonable.
Soya is a find for anyone who is looking for a touch of Italy. Friendly service and fresh food. The pastas are terrific
Went for a late lunch on a Thursday. The restaurant is open air with interesting and curious decorations. Our server, Rosario was pleasant and provided overall good service. We ordered two glasses of Malbec, which were subpar. As if the bottle had been left open...for extended period of time. We ordered the tortellini Arianna and fazzoletti di pere. The order took longer than expected to arrive - given that that the restaurant was mostly empty. Neither of the dishes were particularly remarkable and were somewhat bland. Given some of the other reviews I read, maybe we caught them on a bad day...More
This restaurant is quaint and inviting. Simple wooden tables and chairs for most of the restaurant. But the food and service says a lot more. I had the beef carpaccio. It was dressed with arugula and Parmesan shavings. The bread was warm, crispy and delish...with the olive oil. My main was simple spaghetti with a meat Bolognese in a tomato sauce. Beautifully sone. Not acidic with great flavour. I wiped it clean with the fresh bread. I would have loved it if they had betty quality wines by the glass as I didn’t want to drink a whole bottle. Indefinitely would go back.More
