I had to ask for a clean glass and finally, a new water bottle to get water that didn't taste like spit.

My wife was here three times and I was there twice over a photo one week period. The food was always excellent. The drinks were always very good. For dinner and or dessert we heard some good music near the bar. The only minor problem we had was communicating with the bartenders. I think this is a combination of the... More
This was THE big night out in Miami. The food was fantastic. The wine selection was good but spendy, as were the other prices. I had the grouper and it was to die for. Calamari was the best I have ever eaten. In the world of "you get what you pay for" this restaurant is worth it if you are... More
We had dinner there on a Saturday night because the restaurant was supposedly booked. It was empty when we arrived and half empty when we left. You have to pay for parking $10 plus I tipped. I didn't see another parking option except valet but maybe I missed it. We ordered two specialty martinis. They were small and OK. A... More
its been about a year but I remember the warmth of our hostess who settled us down after being stuck by the causeway for nearly 45 minutes had giant stone crab cooked perfectly expensive but worth it the restauant layout was inviting and first rate split a steak that was perfectly cooked and had a great salad
We've been to four different Truluck locations, and the Brickell location at Miami downtown is true to our excellent experiences. Nice bar; steakhouse type atmosphere with the mounted sailfish modification. Excellent fresh stone crab in four sizes; terrific creamed spinach; the usual assortment of salads. Reasonably priced wine list. Excellent service. A short walk from the Mandarin Oriental right across... More
Let's start with the good. The Setting and ambiance are beautiful. The sea bass with touch of miso was spectacular. But the ribeye was lean to the point of tastelessness, it was totally lacking the ultra tender brow around the edge.
I had booked Truluck's online through "Opentable" we were seated at a wraparound table at the rear of the dining room. Truluck's is known for steak and seafood and although excellent, ocean crab is a must, The King Crab, Crabcakes and Stone Crab just the best! Thomas, our waiter was very helpful and approach our table only when necessary. Professional... More
It was a special Birthday for me and I made dinner reservations for two.....My table was tastefully decorated for me and my dessert was complimentary (Baked Alaska) DELICIOUS !!!!!! I hate singing waiters for a Birthday and this restaurant thank goodness did not SING !!!!!! What I really liked about the decor was that the tables were spaced far enough... More
