But it is a pity the pizzas have so little of the great sauce -- as well as so little of all other toppings. One might suggest their rationale is to maintain a crisp crust, but the crust was soggy, as well. Suggestion for improving...your meal . . . avoid the pizza and instead order one of the tomato-sauced dishes, like melanzane alla Parmigiana, their take on eggplant Parmesan.More

The different dishes we tried were all fresh, with tasty and good pizza pasta. The service was kind and quick. The salads are also very good.

We went to Spris for a pizza with the kids (3 of them) while shopping in midtown. The pizza is super! But the service I received from Pedro Alverto was divine! Super attentive and details oriented! Congrats in the excellent employee!

We had a good time at Spris this past weekend. I didn't like my soup that much, I guess it was missing more body as I'm used to on Minestrone's soup and also the quantity was not that much either. The wine I had was...delicious!! and the service we got from Pedro was super nice. This place has seating area inside and outside. The one outside is soooooo pretty!More

I was going to treat myself to a gluten free crust, but when I walked up some staff were playing with a puppy. I asked my waiter if he had played with the puppy as well. He walked away from me with no response and...sent someone else over. Of course, same question for her. And I inform her that that’s not sanitary. She tells me that they’re washing hands and using gloves. LIE! She goes to tell a girl to wash her hands and goes in the kitchen before putting my order in. Now there’s a different dog at the table behind me. I canceled my order and left.More

The good: Pizza The bad: Service The ugly: Their attitude Avoid this place, worst customer service ever experienced. After more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, I've been to hundreds of restaurants around the world. It is a real shame that right here in...the US you can find this type of bad service. We were a group of 4 adults and three kids. Waiter sent wrong order to the kitchen and when we returned the pizza, the staff, including the Manager (Paola Rizzello) started yelling at each other in front of us!!! I tried to smooth things over by telling the manager that we understood there was a mistake with one of the three pizzas ordered and that it wasn't a problem to us. Then she went to tell me that 'after seven hours here' it's not easy to have a good attitude... We eventually got the correct pizza and then ordered another one. As the fourth pizza did not arrive 20 minutes after we ordered it, we asked a waitres who told us that the kitchen was already closed when the waiter (now nowhere to be seen) placed our order... We asked for the manager, but she couldn't be found at the moment. This restaurant's website states: "At Spris we are extremely guest focused. We strive to provide reliable & attentive service with an ear to ear smile to everyone who walks though our doors. We are very passionate about what we do, and we never lose sight of one of the most important parts of the food business…always have fun!" This is just a big lie, at least at the Midtown location.More

My wife and I have been going to Spris almost on a weekly basis. We absolutely love the Happy Hour. Yesterday we were a group of nine. Some of us were pressed for time as they were heading to the airport. Firstly, AS ALWAYS the...service was excellent (Pedro) was on top of the things from the get go. Our friends who were visiting from Norway said that they thought the pizza (Margherita and Diavola) was the best they had ever tasted. If you are in Midtown it is MUST go to place.More
