I really wanted to like it. We ordered a pepperoni pizza It was ok. Overall a bit greasy, the crust was not crunchy, and the pepperoni was a bit too spicy. Respectfully this is not New York quality or style. It is just a pizza.

Amazing out of the ball park home run restaurant this place hit a home run doing Pizzas and great selection of fresh Italian food, well executed, tasty and fast service, surpassed every Pizzas places in the area big time, staff Cook and owner very friendly, outstanding in every way possible, no complaints of any kind, good location, this restaurant deserves 5 stars, you really need to visit this place To try it and see it for yourself

Since the first visit, I've become a regular at Pizza Johny's. It's a small space, but man, it's magical. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. This NY style pizza has won me over each time with it's undeniable authenticity. I highly recommend Johny's Favorite Pizza. It's Italian sweet sausage with roasted peppers, and caramelized onions. It's the right combination of toppings and it's too good. It's almost a crime for something to be this delicious. I ate a whole large pie by myself and I'm a little guy. I didn't know I had it in me. I'm a believer. It's almost a religious experience and I can't stress this enough, it's the best, authentic NY style pizza in south Miami. I mean, I've converted friends who were lost souls eating nothing but Domino's and Papa Johns. It didn't take much convincing at all. Just one slice and you'll be a believer too.

BEWARE! I decided to give this small business another chance after about two years ago when they "added" their own tip for my take out order. At that time, I called and complained and the Manager was very apologetic and said he would make it up to me. I did not revisit this restaurant until today.I called in my order of Hawaiian pizza and Cilantro Lime Grilled Chicken Salad. Well, I had paid my bill when I noticed that they added an additional $5.00 -2.50 per topping (ham & pineapple). When I questioned my bill the lady said their system does not resister "Hawaiian" pizza and has to charge for cheese pizza then add the toppings. I told her that was messed up and not noted in their website/menu. She then relayed my concern to some guy "Auggie" who told her to give me the $5.00 add-on from the tip jar. I felt bad for the lady, but we had already tipped her on my credit card. In addition, they forgot to add grilled onions to my salad.‍ I will not be revisiting them again... just imagine how many people they scam that never took at their itemized bill!!!!

Our office order some wings, fries and a slice of grandmas pizza. The fries were RAW!!! The grandmas slice of pizza was a MINIATURE and was charged $11.00!!! We called to ask if they had sent the MINITURE pizza by mistake and the staff was rude and said that was the size and regarding the prize... the owner is the one who puts the price!! We asked for the owner and was told in a rude way he was no there. NEVER AGAIN I would order

Delicious pizza and rolls, unbeatable for the lunch special price, and even without, it’s worth every penny (which isn’t a lot because it’s great pricing for the quality food!) Will return as often as I can!

Living near by we have always seen these little shopping center that use to have really great restaurants. Tonight we drove by and decided to stop in and check it out. Read some really great reviews about the garlic bread and thought ... why not?
We walked in looking at the menu and immediately we were greeted by a staff member with a smile .... “ Are you guys new here?” We said yes, not thinking much about the question.....” WE GOT NEWBIES!!!” The greeter yells (took us by surprise) and the the whole kitchen staff yelled back, “YEA!!! WELCOME TO JOHNNYS” - gotta tell you I loved it! Living in Miami and walking into restaurant to restaurant we’ve learned that service or even kindness is almost non existent in this city- so getting that big New York welcome so close to my house was amazing! Thanks guys!
We Ordered a 14’ (Medium) cheese pizza, 6 Piece Honey Garlic Wings and we had to try the garlic rolls.
The waitress (who by the way was the nicest person ever!) came to drop of the wings and the rolls and then the pizza came to the table shortly after.
The wings were delicious and you know I love my wings and I can be very picky about who makes them! Hands down my #2 place now- sorry to say my old #2 spot was bumped down to #3 because of this place. The Honey was tossed in the wings and coated every inch of them but it was not super sweet at all! The garlic was intense but delicious! ( Definitely not a first date spot if you wanna kiss your date later!). The pizza was super cheesy and delicious - True to their word a Authentic New York style pizza! The garlic rolls were also very good!
Thanks again guys!! I’ll be back soon for sure!

It's a little place but they make Authentic NY pizza. I love watching the pizza being made. The prices are reasonable. The Fettucini sauce is amazing.

We have picked up pizza here on various occasions. The pizza is absolutely delicious with great ingredients. If you like thin New York pizza while being here in Miami this is your place. Johnny does happen to be from New York with accent and all, but a great guy. He has a few tables if you want to eat there but mostly take out. Also the garlic rolls are to die for. Worth checking this place out you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy

Yes, it is true, This is the best pizza I had since I left New York.
The restaurant has limited seating, a few small tables inside and a few outside. We ate inside.
The service was great. Friendly staff, helpful.
The pizza is the best. The crust was perfect. I've never had better.
Simply put, Pizza Johnny's make one great pizza.

This joint has good pizza. I’ve been a customer for about 5 years. Service is on a down hill slide as of lately. On my last visit, I quietly waited for 1 slice. Nearly 5 minutes into my wait, 3 men arrived and were greeted as good pals. They were served their slices first and bypassed me and they were served fredh out of oven pizza cause they didn’t want the cold slices on display. When I saw this, I raised my hand and I asked about my order. The cute young man took an old cold slice from display to reheat to serve it to me. I objected, I complained and I demanded a refund. They gave me a difficult time. Making me feel I was imagining things. I got my money back. I walked out. I’ve not set foot in the joint again.

I went with my daughter to get a large half cheese half veggie pizza. The pizza was great. It was served very hot and made with fresh ingredients.The area that you sit to eat was very small, only about 4 tables with 2 chairs each. This wasn’t a big deal to us. I noticed most people were talking their orders to go. We really enjoyed it and will be coming back soon.

The place is nice and cozy. It's a small place seats about 12. The pizza was ok but the ambiance brought back memories of NYC with memoribilia of my childhood. Nothing fancy just a quick bite.

The pizza was excellent at Pizza John's! The staff is really nice and delightful, but the taste... as a NYer, we know pizza, and this is from our neck of the woods. I had the pepperoni and was quite pleased with it.
