...or known as Versalles, but I believe food is better here. Try it. Service is good. Leave a good tip. They deserve it and depend on it. Remember Miami waiters are not even paid minimum wage.

The best cuban american cuisine in Miami. In the last four years I have been eating ,with a relatively frequency in this restaurant. My wife and I call it 'Our second kitchen " Prices, service, food choices and drinks are more than acceptable.

We wanted to eat at Versailles as I had a craving for Cuban food. The line outside was long so we decided to try out La Carreta which was on the same street as Versailles. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was just as good as Versailles'. We had the Cuban sampler and the Cuban sandwich. Our daughter had the... More

The service was good and all but just felt a little slow being the fact that it was lunch time. I was on a time schedule. But besides that the food was very good. Felt home cooking food. Cuban cuisine

Yesterday, Sunday Sept/11/2016 around 5 pm I had the worst dining experience I can remember. I waited over 30 minutes to have a soup, a corn dish and a meat. The dining area was half empty and people that came after me had their food before me. And I'm not talking about soup, they were having congri, chicken and other... More

I enjoy every meal at La Carreta, it is simply THE BEST RESTAURANT ever. Please keep it up. And the one at Calle 8 should be monitores because there is a lot of drunk people at the parking space.

Highly recommended for a late breakfast, as dishes are almost as lunch! Good cuban cuisine and workers are friendly.

La Carreta is where the locals eat ... There are several locations in Miami. Home style Cuban. Our son in law is Cuban, and he told us this was a must ... Great Ceviche.. Firm fresh chunks of Fish... Not even sure what the names are of what we are... We pretty much took our Cuban waiter's recommendations. We had... More

This is not a gourmet restaurant by any means, but if you want to go with the family for a huge meal, this is the place. In addition, they have excellent breakfast and Cuban sandwiches. Best to go hungry, and not in a hurry as service can be slow at peak hours. Prices are moderate.
