The original Shorty's with the wait for a table (literally a table and bench) is worth the visit for good times and BBQ! On US with good parking, check it out when in the area or just passing through to the Keys! Ribs, Chicken, Pork Oh My....All good...

Not my type of food, but I was hungry for some good barbecued meat. If you love RIBS and big noise then this is for you. The French fries were too big and not quite cooked. Fast food have better French fries! It grosses me out just to think about this place and it's extremely busy with tons of family... More

Very typical barbecue menu; chicken, ribs, and brisket with the usual sides. I ordered the brisket dinner. The brisket had good flavor but was fairly dry. However, their house made sauces were pretty tasty. The french fries were luke warm and the toast was so dry it actually crumbled.

It's not the greatest BBQ (especially if you're from the south). But it's Miami's BBQ joint. Its been there forever and a day, despite burning down once. Its BBQ! Its not gourmet. It's BBQ. Put your butt on the bench order a pulled pork sandwich or a slab of ribs and get down and dirty with it.

I love their corn on the cob! The trip is worth it just to have them. The barbecue is also fine, but don't expect any comfort as the seating is shared with other families and there is a strong barbecue smell in the air. Service was efficient.

I had a strong dislike for the greasy smell of the restaurant. The ribs were fine, but the smell of the place made me leave before eating the eal.

Ok bbq . Chicken better than ribs. I wish it was more flavorful. Sides are decent . Prices very reasonable . Burgers tend to be on the dry side. Not a bad meal overall

I used to love this place because the food always tasted good. But that was before I had a huge roach comd and greet me at my table while I was eating! I immediately lost my appetite and called over the nearest server. The server saw the roach, smacked it with a napkin and walked off. I was hoping she'd... More

I have been to the Doral Shorty's a number of times and the food has always been good , but this time, I have to say something was terribly wrong in the kitchen because the pork sandwich that I had was cold and tasteless and our server was not at all friendly. I don't know if I'll be back.

This is the master on BBQ in the US. The service is the best and the sauce is incredible... Chicken and Ribs are very nice! Big common tables you share with people are particular in some shorty's bar and you are served by kind elderly people so cute and nice... So special! My children love the place and it is... More
