Missing TWO items from my order! Unacceptable. Wonton soup and fried rice. The cream cheese wontons aren’t tasty either. Has onions in it
I've had food from Peter's Kitchen twice and both times it was good. Cream cheese wontons were good, some were a little tough. Variety of dishes were good and what you'd expect: General Tso's, beef with broccoli, etc. I had an order of tofu with...vegetables that was really good. I think if you order items that aren't generally ordered so much you get fresher food. But prices are reasonable and haven't had anything that was sub-par so far. Would go back.More
We were told about this restaurant since they delivered to our RV Park. The food came in so fast we almost were not prepared with the monies and they delivered right to our RV site. It came very hot and we thoroughly loved the entrees...of Kung Pao and sweet and sour chickens. The cream cheese wontons were outstanding. My only negative is that we are leaving town and can’t order from them again.More
Food is very good and abundant. The food is ready when promised. We have had different dishes and they are all very good.
1st time order. Just ordered a party platter of chicken low mien and a party platter of Mongolian beef. Happy with the chicken platter, HOWEVER the Mongolian beef platter contained very little beef as you can see in photo. Called to discuss this issue and...wasn't given any clear resolution other than this is their normal beef portions for a party platter. Spoke to the manager, and he transferred me to an employe who is not the owner or the manager or the cook, but apparently spoke for both. (Don't ask, b/c I don't know or have ever heard of this type of business management style where an employee not a manager speaks for the business). I recommend you go to Hong Kong on 152st & 157ave, or Village Chinese . 152st & 137 ave, I have ordered at both and the meat to vegetables portion is more in line of the price charged. Personally, I believe the price is a total rip off for the little amount of beef supplied.More
Food is OK and good portions, but they can do better. I think they're just new in business. Flavors are very good but textures they need to improve.
Ordered take-out online and arrived a bit early; it was ready at the time I had specified. Small place, clearly take-out oriented, with a couple of eat-in tables. Best non-food features: Kitchen visible and obviously very clean - unlike some other Chinese restaurants in theMiami...area. Very pleasant cashier/food-packer. They recycle cardboard boxes to pack carry-out - much sturdier and assures no spillage from liquids. Worst non-food feature: provided WAAAY too many soy sauce and duck sauce packets but no chopsticks at all. Food - ordered four items that varied #15 WonTon soup - abundant won tons but liquid had nothing else; scallions would have improved immensely (plus a few mushrooms or anything else) #34 Pork LoMein - lots of pork, tender and tasty, nothing distinguished, very shy on vegetables #40 Singapre MeiFun was the classic faint curry flavor, but definitely NOT spicy as the menu indicates it would be. No choice of protein - came with a mix of meats and shrimp. Would order again and add my own hot (spicy) sesame oil or pepper flakes before eating. #68 Szechuan Chicken. TERRIBLE if you're expecting anything remotely Szechuan-like. Not bad if you were expecting broccoli-chicken in bland brown sauce with faint 5-spice powder flavoring. I double-checked the printed order and it was clearly Szechuan chicken - both in English and in Chinese characters. There are some lunch specials not available on a Saturday, so I didn't try them. I'll give them one more chance but only ordering in the place and asking about each dish.More
I don't know how these places survive. The food is just terrible. We ordered delivery and they said 40 minutes and it was here in 15 minutes. That means it was sitting around just waiting to be delivered. It was terrible we tossed it in...the garbage..We will never order from here againMore
Peter's is a close take out, and is fast, and good. we order from here often when is a hurry, or just want some good Chinese food.
nothing bad to say. This isn't a restaurant per say...mainly a take out or delivery place but you can eat there. It's just not very big to accommodate a lot of people.
We stopped in thinking this was a burger/fries lunch spot but found it to be a Chinese fast food spot. We checked and found good reviews on-line so we stopped back in for the lunch specials and were so pleasantly surprised! The lunch specials included an...entree and fried rice (or white rice) and egg roll (or soup). All were very good. I had the pork and Chinese vegetables and my wife had the sesame chicken. The egg rolls were cripsy and tasty, you could taste the cabbage in it and it was cooked perfectly. Both the pork and veggies and sesame chicken were really good. This was indeed a great find so close to where we are staying. The seating is limited, I think this is mostly a take-out kind of place so I am only giving it 3 stars. We will return, the food was very good.More
