I had wanted to try this place for quite some time, so finally I went there on a “Foodie-Day” in Miami last month. Well, disappointing at best. We went for a quick bite in the early afternoon, during the week, so the place wasn’t busy...at all. Still, we went in, sat at one of the small tables and…wait and wait and wait. They had maybe 3-4 tables with patrons outside, while inside it was empty. Several employees were walking by us, nobody even thought of approaching us for a menu, water or anything; we were pretty much ignored. After a while, over 10-15 minutes, I got up and walked to the counter and asked the guy what we were supposed to do to get someone to come to the table as we had been waiting for about 15 minutes and although we were noticed by the personnel, nobody came to us. The answer was “order here and we’ll take the food to you”. No apologies, nothing of that sort; mind you, it was anything but obvious that we were supposed to do that, because we saw waiters serving the table outside. That really got me frustrated so I told the guy what they were waiting to come and tell us to do so, but the level of interest he had in the whole matter was between low and inexistent. Anyway, we ordered the salmon carpaccio and the bresaola. Salmon was okay, the bresaola, for the first time in my life, was pretty much inedible. Beside a “plastic taste”, I couldn’t chew, it was full of nerves inside that I never even knew exist in bresaola. I was unable to finish the dish, so we called the check and left. Now, I don’t know about the rest of the menu, but the service was probably the worst we had in years and we are pretty patient; being Italian we don’t need to be served super quick, but that was ridiculous. And I have never seen bresaola like that, I don’t know if it was old, or they got it from some low quality place, but it was like chewing a gum. Being that Miami is full of options, I don’t think I am going to get back to this place.More

It’s a very small place in Downtown Miami with a great décor inside, and a lot of street side tables outside. We ordered white wine (which was good), I got the Carpaccio di Salmone and my husband tried the Carpaccio di Bresaola. The Carpaccio di...Salmone was ok, but I can’t say the same for the Carpaccio di Bresaola: the meat looked and tasted as if it were too old. The service was also very disappointing. Not knowing that here you have to order first and then sit wherever you want, we went straight to sit at a table inside. We waited for a long time trying and failing to get the attention of the staff, although they were constantly passing by us doing their chores. Finally my husband decided to go to the counter to call somebody, and that’s when we found out about their process. The prices are decent.More

I have been here several times and I always order the same sandwich. The same guy takes my lunch order and he never seems to be happy to be at work or does not care to even smile. He does not give eye contact when...taking my order. I stay away because of the service. if you want to go alone for lunch then its perfect but don't take anyone because it will not be impressive and service will probably not be great.More

With covered tables streetside, the cafe serves sandwiches, brushetta and pasta. Tablea and chairs are worn- smoked salmon platter with small portion of 13$ smoked salmon with honey mustard sauce decorating it- was good. Overpriced for the serving size

Popped in for a doppio espresso this afternoon....popped back for an excellent meal early evening. Mixed plates of parmesan (chunks) and mortadella for two...lasagne and fusilli with pesto....2 glasses of red.....more espresso...$58. Ok, street side seating (our choice) no view....but good, decent Italian food.

My daughter and I stopped here for a bite on our way to The Cure concert. The person at the counter was patient with our questions and even offered my daughter samples of meat and cheese as she didn't know which meat & cheese platter...to choose. I ordered a glass of red wine that was HUGE and delicious! My daughter loved the platter and also enjoyed a croissant and a melon juice drink. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching, too! We loved this place!More

The food is very fresh and made on site. DELICIOUS! Natural ingredients and a great presentation. This place you order when you walk in at the register and you can at a table or counter inside or a sidewalk table outside.

Stopped here for lunch and was happily surprised. This is authentic Italian. I had a bresaola sandwich with fig that was fabulous. My wife had a salad of fresh greens, tuna, tomatoes and cheeses that rocked. The bread was fresh, the meats delicious and the...sale greens extremely fresh. Toss in a nice al fresco seating area and this is a winner for lunch.More
