An excellent option if you stay close to Blue Lagoon / Miami airport. Good service, VERY good seafood (stuffed filet topped with cheese, but it was too cold in the restaurant and a little sticky / old inside.
Since our hotel's restaurant was not open due to COVID-19 impact, they provided nearby options for food delivery. One of the menus was for cuban cuisine from Casa Juan Restaurant. Our meal consisted of 1/2 Baked Chicken, Roasted Pork with Tamal and Yuca, a small...House Salad and most importantly a bottle of chardonnay. It was actually quite good but way too much food. They added a delivery charge of $2.50 and brought a portable credit card machine with them. It was great not to have to be exposed to the general public and a good option for meal delivery to the hotel.More
I had dinner here for the first time. Food was ok, but I didn’t like de 4% additional credit card fee without telling me first.....I find it a bit “not done” in the us.
I questioned the waiter about it and he said it’s “new”.
Wonderful venue for lunch. The restaurant is 5+ minute walk from Hyatt House Miami airport and other close hotels. Service was extremely helpful and friendly. The chicken plantain dish was fantastic. Prices are very fair.
Casa Juan was recommended by our hotel. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and seated. Service was excellent. Casa Juan seems to be known for its paella and I regret we didn't order it. The food we did order was...plentiful and the portions were huge. My husband's pork dish was tough to chew...my seafood was okay. The food is very reasonably priced especially for the amount of food that is served. I think if I were to go again I would order something more traditionally cuban and I would split an entree with my husband. I also think if I were in the area again I would select another cuban restaurant so that I'd have a better basis of comparison.More
