Had an excellent meal while traveling thru Miami. This was our first try with Cuban cuisine and we tried a variety of different menu options, the staff was very friendly and explained the menu very well to us.

This small gem on Dixie Highway is a great example of good, flavorful Cuban food. We probably eat there once a week and it's our spot to introduce out of town guests to some great dishes. I especially like the piccadillo and chicken in mustard sauce with capers and mushrooms.

I have been to this restaurant twice and tonight plan to go again for dinner. I discovered this restaurant through Restaurant.com (I just called the restaurant and they are still accepting the restaurant.com certificates in case any of you also have these) and I am so glad I found this place. It is a rather small restaurant but enough space... More

Went to eat with my son and was a bit worried when the place was pretty empty. Glad I entered because I had one the best pan con lechon (pork sandwiches) I have ever had in my life. The aioli type sauce they served with Plantain chips also amazing.

Our airbnb host suggested Malanga, and we had an excellent Pan con Lechon sandwich as well as rice and beans and plaintains. The tres leches cake was also excellent, and the flan was nice.

We found this gem and have been here severs times. The food is wonderful and the service is friendly and attentive. Their Cuban sandwiches are the best. And don't forget dessert and Cafe Cubano!

We had a very good lunch, the service was quick and the portions were generous. I ate the Lechoncita, shredded pork with a guava sauce. It was very good and the guava complimented the savory pork perfectly. My friend ate the vaca frita and she enjoyed it as well. We both had the Moros and tostones as side dishes which... More

Just returned from having a quick meal out near our home before watching the debates. Malanga is a small Cuban restaurant which we have been wanting to try instead of driving farther to Versailles, our favorite Cuban place. We shared a goat cheese salads, and had two main courses, pork chunks, and roast pork. Sides were included- black beans and... More

Malanga Cafe is a place to eat, to talk and to drink. Malanga takes pride in providing its customers with the best Cuban food in Miami. Recognized for its World's Best Pan con Lechon, Handmade croquetas, and its freshly ground tamales. The Miami Herald calls it the best comfort food. We believe its the only gourmet Cuban restaurant in South Florida.
