Love the lush courtyard setting, food was great, nice vibe music and good service. The Risotto Verde is insane and the Mango Panna Cotta is delish!

Enjoyed a nice dinner in this beautiful garden restaurant in Coconut Grove. We were celebrating our 47 wedding anniversary. Food was great and service very friendly. Special thanks to the manager that gave us complimentary French champagne.
Great time at Peacock Garden Cafe. Food and drinks were excellent but the highlight is Margarita, the violinist. She is magnificent,

My husband and I ate here while spending the night before getting on our cruise ship. The staff was wonderful, the food was amazing, the environment was perfect.

The food was disapointing, along with service. Our server took our order and then was there to collect our payment. She never came back to check on us once. There are many other places to choose from around this restaurant and I would recommend doing...that. Also, the restaurant wasn't busy so being under staffed cant be the excuse, This server just didn't care to give us anything other than a poor experience. We will not be recommending this to any of our family or friends staying in Coconut Grove.More
It's a shame that you didn't enjoy your time with us. We take great pride in our service and flavors and we truly care about our guest's experience, so we're disappointed to hear. Did you share your displeasure with our staff? We are happy and...More
The outdoor ambiance and reviews about the food placed Peacock Garden on our list of restaurants to check out for our long weekend in Miami. We made a reservations in advance and requested outdoor seating. It started off rocky as there seemed to be plenty...of outdoor seating and the hostess tried sitting us indoors twice. Eventually, we were seated outside. It was all positive after that. The waitress was attentive and checked in with us to order drinks and food, once the food was brought to the table, and to order dessert. The food was delicious. My wife had the half chicken with potatoes and I had the churrasco with fries. We both loved our meals. My wife ordered the sangria which she loved and I ordered the old fashioned which was made well. The Old Fashioned had flavorings of coconut. We ended a great experience with the tres leche tiramisu which I’d highly recommend. All in all, I’d recommend Peacock Garden.More

Great evening out with another couple. The setting is beautiful, shaded but outdoors and very relaxed style. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and thorough - which was especially appreciated since the place was very busy… at nearly capacity even for an early evening sitting....The menu had nice variety, the prices reasonable for a night out in a quality restaurant. The portions were a little on the small side, I felt - both for drinks and for meals. But that could just be because of how I enjoyed them!More

My daughter and I dined here on a recommendation from a friend. We were there early, around 5:30ish, so it was still ight out. In general, I would say this is a nice restaurant with good food, albeit small portions for the prices. Pros: Our...server, Bianca, was a GEM. Exceptionally service-oriented and beyond accommodating of our every desire. Every other staff member who was involved in our service was also very friendly and accommodating. The garden atmosphere is stunning... so peaceful and tranquil. My daughter didn't care for the skirt steak she ordered, she felt it was too fatty, so they immediately replaced it with her second choice, a simple bowl of spaghetti and butter, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Cons: I went off-menu for my cocktail and asked for a French 75. I noticed the ingredients in other cocktails so i was confident they should be able to make it. It arrived and it was tasty, but did not taste like it had all the right ingredients. I'm no bartender, but I know what it should taste like, and it wasn't that. Since I still liked the taste, I didn't mention any issue. The rub was when I asked for another, and it tasted different from the first one, and more like the French 75 that I'm used to. So bottom line, that was simply a lack of consistency. I would return here again to try other items on the menu, as there were so many that caught my interest, and again, the atmosphere was so beautiful.More

Ambiance solid. Food was average at best; flavors were dull and food overcooked. Friendly, but inattentive servers. Spend your Miami time elsewhere.More

Amazing service from lovely people. I was desperate for some milk (to take back to the apartment to put in my English breakfast tea) which is hard to find in Coconut Grove. A fabulous young waitress got me some without charge, nothing was too much...trouble. I must recommend the French Onion Soup, a meal in itself. By far the best restaurant we ate at in our short stay.More

I'm sure most of the reviews here are for the previous ownership. I went to this restaurant on Sunday (Jan 16th). The place still has great ambiance a it has maintained the beautiful garden. The food however, is far from what it used to be....My better half ordered the Green Risotto which at $25 was nothing short of a bland soupy mess nowhere near the creamy texture that risotto should have. I ordered the Short Rib Sandwich which was laughably small with just a sprinkle of meat. So incredibly bland that all I could taste was the bread. I will obviously not be visiting this restaurant again now that it has turned into a tourist trap. Sad, it used to be one of my favorites.More

Beautiful atmosphere and the cocktails were amazing. But the food was far from impressive. For the price we expected more. In future we would drop in for a drink before dinner elsewhere.More

Miami's Coconut Grove area is a popular place for locals and tourists but you'll have to look a little harder for this delightful place. It's tucked away a block or so from the main action, hidden behind extensive foilage, and offers a solid menu at...lunch and dinner. Good service, nice atmosphere. It's obviously the choice place for ladies who lunch. parking may be an issue though we found a place in a small underground garage next door.More

When we walked in they assured me I could have a plain meal without garlic as I have a bad intolerance. The server give me list of things I could choose from. When my fish arrived was swimming in a garlic sauce. So I send...it back. The manager came over to apologise and said the chef was cooking another fish and wouldn’t be long. Few seconds later the fish arrived swimming in another sauce. The fish meant to be in his own on the plate but it wasn’t . I was starving so I decided to eat it avoiding the sauce. At the end of my meal I have tasted garlic and then the bulbs moment…. The fish was only cleaned and put on another plate. My side dish arrived at the end of my meal. A couple of hrs later, back in the hotel I was very sick- throwing up my $50 lunch. I’m grateful I didn’t have an allergic reaction. If you have dietary requirements it’s definitely not the right place, the food can kill you. Definitely not going again and told of my colleagues too.More
