Really good varieties of a delicious Cuban sandwich. Great spot for lunch. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Quaint little on the street spot - not too big. Still feels like a mom/pop restaurant. Flan and tiramisu were home cooked and tasty. If you go to Miami Beach, this is a must!!

We met here for a food tour and I am so glad we did! We had our first Cuban coffee and a Cuban sandwich. Everything was very good and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend trying David's Cafe! (We did the "Food Tours of Miami" with Faruk and had a great time!)

Food and service is phenomenal. It has a kind of ugly, non-designed interior but once you try the food you won't care. I'm an interior designer and I come here several times on EVERY Miami trip. And everyone I've taken here loves it. It's a LOT of food. Waiter is uber friendly and charming. I think his name is Sami?... More

Staff is nice, and the food very good. They bring the Cuban bread, and we had a typical Cuban dish (moro and malanga), with chicken with fruits chutney. There is also pork and beef. Very good!

I love this place. It's been around forever and the food is so good. I love the spinach empanadas. It's nice they have a few items for vegetarians. But the best part about David's is their Cuban coffee! So delicious and strong.

This was my second time eating at David's Cafe. Had the cuban sandwich with black beans and rice. The cuban wasn't the best I've had, but the beans and rice was great. 1st time I came I had the ropa vieja which was amazing. Will continue to come by while in Miami, good value.

Description
Nearly a year after closing its Collins Avenue location, the iconic 40-year-old Cuban cafe alights on Alton Road, settling into a smaller SoBe space with blue-and-black tiled floors and its signature walk-up window where locals get their morning cafecito fix. The menu includes breakfast staples like fried eggs and bacon, plus classics like Cubano Sandwich and churrasco (grilled beef) that never grow old.
