I used to be an ambassador for Coasters! It was honestly my favorite restaurant in the Melbourne area and I told everyone this. I noticed that it had been slipping since reopening after the COVID-19 pandemic (less than stellar food and service). I have discovered...the problem. Horrible horrible management! They are constantly out of Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen, my favorite beer in the world and one of the big reasons I go there. The excuse was always we just ran out and we're getting more later in the week. The food and service are hit and miss but they used to be spot on. And tonight they closed unexpectedly at 9PM. It wasn't so bad as we had finished eating and were finishing up our last call drinks when the manager turned off all the TV's on us (we were watching the Thursday night NFL Game)!!! OMG we still had half a beer and there were still at least 10 customers in there! When I protested the manager slunk into her office. Clearly she does not give a s**t about the customers. Her goal was to get us out of there ASAP and she succeeded at that. Coasters owners and customers, as long as I have been a faithful VIP customer (15 years) I may never come back! I just thought I would let anyone who might consider going there know about the incredibly rude, disrespectful experience I and my family and friends had and decide for themselves if they'd like to experience the same...More

Well tonight was my last meal at Coasters after being a loyal customer for over 15 years.Covid has been very difficult for all Restaurants ,but as loyal customers as soon as Coasters reopened we have tried to be supportive .Menu scaled back some and beer...that we go there for rarely available ,we understand but when last call and we order drinks and sitting and finishing at Bar while others still in Restaurant eating and Manager turns off TV on Thursday Night Football ,thanks but plenty of other Restaurants that will appreciate our two to three nights a week dinners.More

My husband and I decided to try a restaurant that we had never been to before and we were not at all disappointed! The food was fantastic! My husband had a mushroom, Swiss and bacon burger with fried onions. It was huge and he said...that it was delicious and he ate every bite! We shared an order of onion rings with a delicious horseradish sauce. They are probably the best onion rings that I have ever eaten. I enjoyed the mahi tacos and black beans. The plate was huge and beautifully prepared with everything possible that I would want displayed on the dish. I took half of it home and had lunch for the next day. I want to compliment our wonderful and very entertaining server Cheryl! She was friendly and right there anytime she thought we might want something. She gave us such an enjoyable experience and we will make sure that we ask for Cheryl every time. She even had the other patrons at the tables in her section talking to each other like we knew each other. It was one of the most enjoyable restaurant experiences I have ever had. We can't wait to go in October for Octoberfest! We plan to go for dinner several times in that month and we will try some of their beers. We can't wait! Thank you to Coaster's for giving us such a wonderful restaurant in Brevard County! In fact, We will be going there for lunch again today!More

We had lunch today at Coasters as they have a reputation for being COVID safe and having good food. What we heard about the restaurant was absolutely true. Masks are required when not at your table. The servers wear masks. The place seems to be...very clean. The food was fantastic. Service was friendly, fast and attentive. The menu is reasonably sized and has a bit of everything but features sandwiches and burgers. They have a beautiful outside dining area but we ate inside due to the heat and the tables placement provided good social distancing.More

Coasters has always been a very consistent and great place to go. With its reopening we decide to go! It did not disappoint! My husband had a beef on a wick! As good as ever! I had the Mahi salad and the piece of fish...was quite big and cooked to perfection! Can’t wait to go back! The Biergarten has expanded and looks so much nicer! Can’t wait for the weather to be a bit cooler and being the dogs!More

The food and service were good. Although it was busy for a Wednesday, we were seated pretty quickly. Server was very polite and attentive.

Two couples went for dinner to find a wonderful selection of beers, good beers!! I chose two German beers that I had not seen before (Monchshof Schwarzbier & Tucher Dunkles Hefe Weizen) and each was very good!! Oh yeah, we ate dinner too... Quite a...nice and varied selection on the dinner menu allowed each of us to order within our different tastes and all were delighted with the results. I had the 1/2 Pound Exotic Burger (which was venison this day), it was very tasty and came with tons of Tater Tots. My wife had a burger with onion rings and the serving was big enough that I got to help her with her rings!! Our friends split a Mahi sandwich and were satisfied with the quantity. There were several meatless dishes (such as salads & Beyond Burger), but I cannot attest to them being vegan.More
