Looks can be deceiving. This place has been one of my favorites in the area for a few years. They have friendly service, great Thai food, decent catfish and BBQ. You sit on plastic chairs in a sort of picnic feel atmosphere, but the Thai food is amazing. Great takeout for a 'night in'. Frequented by local military during lunch... More

If you are in the fort Walton beach, destin, Navarre area give this place a try. Its a local favorite and a military tradition They serve a unique style of food. Located in an old house 1/2 block behind Tom Thumb convenience store at hwy 98 and Doolittle. Their version of country fried steak is palomilla, served w Cuban gravy... More

My family and I love to come to Gus' whenever we are in the area. We wouldn't think of eating anywhere else.

As a 20+ year customer (first at Daddys, and then at Gus' when he moved over there) I've always been exceptionally pleased with the quality and variety of the food (at BOTH places, as they are "kinda related" - Long story/Local Legend - LOL) Anyhow, when Gus moved over to the Corona Cafe, we (the AFSOC Lunch Bunch) moved with... Gus's is one of the best places to eat in Fort walton and Mary Esther. The food there is amazing and the people are even better. They always make us feel welcome and cook us the best food possible. We usually eat there 2-3 times a week. Help there business grow. We know you won't regret it. -Florosa Fire Department

Great BBQ & Thai food. Similar to Daddy's BBQ, around the corner. Table service is better than Daddy's, waitstaff is always refilling your drinks. I enjoy several of the offerings, all are good with adequate portions. They even offer free cake for desert. Can't go wrong with Gus's.

My Wife and I spend the months of March and April on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Gus Corona's is just a neat place to eat great food at a reasonable price. The Restaurant is tucked back of a church off of Doolittle drive so those that frequent the restaurant are locals and Military. You can be sitting... More
