We had visited this restaurant in the past and it was decent. Decided to go tonight for the lobster special, which turned out to be tough and overcooked and extremely small. Teriyaki salmon was simply soaked in teriyaki sauce. The rice was inedible due to...all the salty sauce.More

Service was good as was the waitstaff. We sat outside but had to move because some boisterous fellow was loudly cursing behind our table. Also they allow smoking outside in the dining area. Just couldn't get away from the terrible smell. Sit inside if you...don't like the odor. Too bad because the waterfront deck is very nice. Food, Chicken Piccata , below par. A grilled split chicken breast plopped on top of pasta with capers and piccata sauce. The chicken is supposed to be sauteed in the capers and white wine sauce, not grilled elsewhere and dropped on to the pasta. My wife did love her Crabcake however, she gave it a thumbs up. If we go again I will probably try their pizza. But between the loud cursing semi drunk, the awful smoke out on the deck and my personal Piccata that was ill prepared, I may not return. I usually give a restaurant one shot and then I go elsewhere.More

Our lunch was good, but the service was pretty lackluster....just the basics: Sit wherever you want, here's your menu. Highly offensive ambiance with a boat behind it with a flag reading F*ck Biden. Nobody should have to take their kids into a place with that...staring them in the face, and would have been just as offensive if it had said F*ck Trump. I believe it was docked at the marina behind it, but someone should walk next door and ask them to put the flag away. All in all not the good experience we've had in the past there. Please step up the attention to details such as being sure the food is coming out hot...seems like French onion soup should be right out of the oven.More

Loved the Speakeasy so much we ate there 3 times over 6 days. Great food, excellent service, friendly staff. Watch for the specials. Lobster special on Wednesday is fantastic. Loaded Italian Beef was also dynamite. Need to make reservations if you want a prime waterfront...table.More

Friends arrived and everything we knew was booked. These folks were able to accommodate and we were pleasantly surprised. Bar atmosphere with a nice terrace area overlooking the water. Food quality outweighed their price point... always a good thing. :-) Yes, we'll go back next...trip! :-)More

We stumbled upon this place and were able to get a table for two in the bar at a high top table. Awesome service from start to finish. We had the Speakeasy punch, the Speakeasy burger with slice of Key Lime Pie for dessert and...it was delicious!!More

SpeakEasy has a Chicago flair with a local atmosphere. There is inside and outside seating on the water. It is very friendly and easy to feel welcomed. The lobster night is well worth it.

Hostess was just okay no personality.. we made reservations and got a just ok table. Our server was super nice but food is and drinks were lacking. Ribs were super dry and fish was good but not the cilantro lime rice that was on the...menu. We were excited to try a new place but a bit disappointed.More

After coming to Marco for 20 years and hearing about Speakeasy, we decided to give it a try. Very cool spot. Unfortunately, the service was not good and the food was very average. While the restaurant was busy, it wasn’t any busier than other restaurants...that we have been to during “the season.” After 90 minutes, our food arrived. The manager brought our food. When I expressed our disappointment on the poor service and the fact that it took 90 minutes, she replied, “I know...” with this bewildered look on her face. My dish was recommended by our server and it was bland. Had to ask for drink refills. Single worst dining experience on “The Island.”More

We went on a fishing trip and caught sharks. Captain RJ told us to go here and have them prepare it. We are so glad he did. Our waiter, David, was fabulous. They prepared our catch in 3 different ways. Such a great experience. Thank...you to the cooks/kitchen for everything.More
