Eloy was our server and he explained to us the buffet and A la Cart. We went with the buffet which is $30 per person. It makes sense since mimosas are $12 on a regular menus but $8 with the buffet and the coffee and Orange Juice is included. I went to the Omelet station and LUCY was WONDERFUL!! it was her birthday and she had a smile from ear to ear at the omelet station! I can not believe she doesn’t have more positive reviews on Trip Advisor maybe she was then on the hotel survey! My partner went back to Lucy at the omelet station after trying mine (bacon, ham and cheese omelet) and Lucy immediately recognized him and made a positive experience. Would 100% come back and recommend to eat at Maia!

Good food, but pricey!

My husband and I had breakfast here for 4 mornings. We had a variety of items, but usually at least one omelet per day. So disappointing that the buffet breakfast was not available. The omelets were great. You could get ham and cheese, bacon and cheese, vegetable omelet, etc. The best one that I had was just a cheddar cheese omelet. The cheese was thick and really great. The breakfast potatoes were also very good. The yogurt and fruit parfait was just okay. I had a mimosa one morning, which I enjoyed. My husband usually had orange juice, which cost between $4 and $5 for a glass. His coffee was $4. I ordered a Diet Coke one morning, and it cost $4.75. That is really expensive just for the drinks. The mimosa was $12. Anyway, we didn't get out for under $50 any morning. There were options for inside or outside seating. Service was quick, and we enjoyed our meals there.

Breakfast was really awesome. We had breakfast here twice. Very pleased. Great food, great service, friendly staff, we had Yoelkys as our server both days she is amazing! Cooked to order pancakes and omelets were awesome. Scrambled eggs were perfectly moist. Loved ‘em! Breads, muffins, fruits and oats all items were great. Juices weren’t freshly squeezed there but boy they were good. Over all a big yes!

Breakfast Buffet at JW Marriott

Maia is a restaurant located on the JW Marriot Marco Island Resort, there is indoor and covered outdoor seating available. I visited this restaurant for the breakfast offered while staying on the resort. It was quite busy in the morning, it appeared there was quite the line. At the time I visited, the resort was not open to the public, but I do believe that has since changed. We only ate here once for breakfast during our stay. For breakfast, they offer an extensive buffet of options from pastries to cooked options such as omelets and pancakes. In addition to the buffet, you can order from a selective menu of more prepared entrees. All around a good dining experience for breakfast while staying in Marco Island. Price point for the buffet is on the higher side (closer to the $20-$40 per person range). I can’t recall the exact price when we visited.

Pretty Dissapointing

I hate to give bad reviews, and I always share feedback with the staff and/or managers as well. For a hotel restaurant as swanky as Maia and the JWM, this was quite honestly disappointing for a few reasons. Mostly the price for the options and lack of options. For a family of three to have a buffet and cost over $115 is absurd. Considering there were only scrambled eggs, no omelets, etc. Bacon was overcooked and other items seemed old and not refreshed. The continental breakfast items seemed better prepared, for packaged items. Our wonderful attendant was the best part of the experience. I would not eat again at this establishment unless they made for changes,

Excellent breakfasts for 3 days

Excellent buffet. I get a discount based on my hotel status. I'm shocked people are writing bad review. The variety of food is excellent and my kids really enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes that were cooked to order. Shrimp omelets were also great. Can't wait to be back. This is a high volume restaurant at breakfast but they do a good job getting people in and out.

Beautiful place, delicious buffet and great service

Excellent buffet breakfast. Everything was fresh; great variety of fruits and fresh every morning during our week stay. Great selection of bread and delicious variety of bakery dishes. The omelettes were always delicious and chefs always kept consistency in cooking them thick and good amount ham, onions and cheese. Coffee and orange juice was always fresh and delicious. Endless amounts of other items in the buffet that’s too much too mention and all great quality. The icing on the cake was the service. All servers we had were great, two that I must mention is Dally and Elloy. They both gave excellent service.

Very convenient

This restaurant is very convenient as you don’t have to leave the hotel to look for breakfast. The food is decent, not worth the price they charge, but you’re truly paying for the convenience. Nonetheless, the buffet bar is very clean and organized and offers a lot of variety.

The buffet was not worth the price. Over $100 for my husband and I and two kids under 4. There was nothing about the buffet that was outstanding. I tried my son's pancakes since he rejected them and they were flat and tasted like a dirty griddle. We had great scrambled eggs on day and on another day we couldn't even eat them. I'm happy they offered good berries but otherwise not worth the cost. No wow factor.

Thank you Natalia and Dolly! Great breakfast .Very clean. Options to eat inside or out . Natalia and Dolly noticed my platinum elite status was not captured in the system . I guess the front desk was too busy at check in to remind us of the benefits and upload it correctly . Thank you ladies. My husband was very pleased about the money you saved us.

Above and Beyond

Had breakfast there on 6/26/22. I have to use a cane to walk and therefore it was difficult to retrieve food from the buffet. Our server Kay followed me to the buffet and made a plate of what I wanted and returned it our table. If this is how the management has trained all their staff great. However, if Kay took it upon herself to go the extra mile fantastic. The buffet was large with many options and very good tasting.

Not worth the money tonight

Restaurant was freezing cold. All the women were uncomfortable and most came without sweaters. It was Thanksgiving buffet and the food was cold as well. Food was tasty but the cold ruined it. Staff was excellent.

My favorite restaurant

Our first trip for 2021 was better than expected. So many things have changed during this pandemic but our favorite restaurant was still there! Our favorite waitress was still there! Dolly with her mask on and smiling with her eyes as she serves us cheerfully. During this difficult time in our lives, we greatly recommend Maia for its cleanliness and friendly atmosphere. Dolly is the best. We love here and was happy to see that she is still there.

The Buffet and Staff

Best Buffet with the Best Staff. Dolly, Ally, Bianca and Natalia were always so attentive and kind. Even on the busiest of days they made sure we were always taken care of. It was a great way to start our days at our favorite resort!!

A Regular Stop

We come to Marco Island every year and stay at the JW Marriott or the Marriott Crystal Shores timeshare down the street. Regardless of where we stay, we ALWAYS visit Maia a couple times. And, we ALWAYS ask for our waitress, Dolly. She's the best - friendly, helpful and accommodating. We couldn't ask for more. The food is excellent. The restaurant is enjoyable. We will return.
