Grouper was one if the best we've had, fries were awesome. A little loud for my taste, and I didn't like having our party of seven go up to the counter to order, to get pop refills, and to pay the bill. Overall it was great food. Marginal service.

We have been in Marco Island for the past couple days for our baby moon and have absolutely fell in love with The Crazy Flamingo! So much so that we are eating here for the 4th day in a row. I have tried something different every time and it was all amazing. The people are even better than the food!!... More

We stopped at Crazy Flamingo for dinner while we were visiting Marco Island. A bartender at another restaurant told us that it was her favorite place on the island. We were blown away by the excellent food. The conch chowder and peel and eat shrimp are superb. The blackened grouper platter was also fresh and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised... More

We ended up at the Crazy Flamingo last night because the restaurant we wanted to go to in Goodland was closed. Very casual place. You have to go up to the bar to order your meal and bring your own drinks back to the table. The conch chowder was tasty. The rest of our meals, just okay. There has to... More

Magazine hyped it up to be a lot more than it was. It said live music, among other things. There was less than 10 people dining or at the bar when we were there, in the evening and at a prime time, 7 pm. French fries were not good. Food, including seafood, looked like it came out of a box.... More

The Scene: Strip mall blue collar bar and restaurant with an adjoining pool table room. Tired looking interior, but with an inviting outdoor seating area. The Food: Have you ever had conch chowder that looked and tasted exactly like chili? No, either had we. It consisted of a spicy dark oily mess of chili ingredients mixed with mystery ingredients, probably... More

Took my grandson for lunch and the food was terrible. He ordered chicken fingers and they were so saltie and dry. Fries were ok, I had a bowl of clam chowder and I didn't see any clams it was full of potatoes instead. Had a side order of onion rings and again not good. Would not recommend them to anyone.... All the meals were out of this world !! Mahimahi platter-Kathys seafood marinara ( my kid got the marinara sauce on the side -no problem!) steamed shrimp - you have to order at the bar and they call your name to come get it - loved the laid back atmosphere !! We've been meaning to try this place out for... More

This is a no frills sorta dive spot that has great oysters and wings. Very casual but comfortable and daily drink specials. Nice spot to come after a day at the beach

Description
The Crazy Flamingo has been serving Marco Island for 26 years. It is a VERY, I repeat VERY casual bar setting restaurant that happens to sell delicious food, beer & wine. We are best known for our Wings, fresh fish and Seafood dishes. Our raw bar of oysters and clams are shucked to order right in front of you. So if your looking for a VERY relaxed ,casual, sometimes LOUD but always good food... Stop by.. We do not take reservations, some parties come for dinner and stay all night. Enjoy the Island
