Yesterday my wife called and said she was having difficulty coming up with ideas for dinner. I told her I would think about it and call her before I headed home from work. Our kitchen is in various stages of a remodel so some of the appliances aren't hooked up which makes decision making difficult at best. Well about an hour later, I received a welcoming email from Michelbob's on Marco Island, FL. Their usual $18.99 full slab dinner was being discounted to $12.99 for one day only. We enjoy Michelbob's but that email was sent with perfect timing. Anna, the rock star was balancing the phone, walk up orders and discount seekers like me. If you haven't tried Michelbob's on Marco Island or Naples you'll be in for a treat. Take out only on Marco Island but full service in Naples. Thx again.

we hate to cook.. so this place is easy and convenient to get take out. you can try calling in your order at 4.50.. they open at 5.00 good luck.. only anna (in front) and her husband in the kitchen.. so the phone does not go answered frequently during high season. susie has the two chicken BBQ breasts and i order 4 of the cheese filled sausages. .. good for two meals. we go here often so i like it a lot.. gets a bit too close for me during season with people lined up to order or pick up but i've never waited more than 10 minutes to get the food. look .. at $16 for all that food.. it's well priced. i find the ribs ok but prefer the sausages better. no tables.. as i said.. take out only.. storefront in a non-descript strip mall on collier blvd. hi anna... she's very nice. leave a tip please.

Ribs sometimes are hit and miss

We have been using Michlebobs for some years now, and normally they have decent ribs for the price. Tender and tasty. However, the last year or so, some of them we have been getting seem not to be as fresh or seem a little old in comparison to other orders we have received. Maybe they were a little old, but overall, they seem to do a good job with them.

The BEST ribs on earth!

We would have eaten Michelbob’s baby back ribs every on Marco Island after trying them at the beginning of our vacation mid May 2021. Had read a review before our trip, and I am so glad I did. Even though we were in a hotel room, they supply everything you need including utensils, margarine, sour cream, and napkins. The baby backs fall off the bone and meter in your mouth! All your could hear while we were eating them was OMG Mmmmm SO GOOD! We ate there 2x it was so good 😊

great ribs

We always get the ribs combo for dinner our first nite when we are in Marco. We get them again when friends come. Then we like to make our own sides (corn bread, cole slaw, baked beans, potato salad) and just order the ribs. Its a great alternative to eating out!

If you're in the mood for barbecue...

I get takeout from Michelbob's fairly often, whenever I'm in the mood for barbecue. I had friends visiting and we came here for lunch. The place seems to be crowded no matter when you come. Our server got flustered when my friend asked if the lemonade was fresh-squeezed or from a mix, and gruffly answered she didn't know the answers to questions. LOL But, we wondered why in Florida, major citrus growing country, the restaurants don't all serve fresh-squeezed lemonade! The food was good. The atmosphere casual and noisy. My best recommendation is to order takeout and enjoy at home or at a park.

Best Babyback Ribs Around!

We have been coming here for a decade now. It never disappoints. You can normally get full racks of their delicious Danish Ribs for only $10. My wife loves their smoked sausage, and kids love the chicken. Anna from Rhode Island works the register there everyday, tell here I said Hi! mywalksinparadise

Tasty BBQ

Take out only in Marco Island. Very fast service. Had the baby back ribs which were good, but not melt off the bones meat. The pulled pork and chicken breast plate was tasty, with excellent baked beans and Cole slaw. The baked potato was good and bread was excellent. Plenty of specials. We hope to return!

Yummy Meal

We loved our take- out meal at Michelbob's Ribs. The rib meat was fall off the bones and definitely more than enough on our plates. We enjoyed all of the side dish options and really liked our corn on the cob. We prefer ribs without too much smoke and these ones were perfect - with a sweet and tangy sauce to go with it.

Amazing ribs! Best in USA!

Truly mouthwatering, fall off the bone ribs! Danish baby back ribs cooked to perfection and in a gluten free barbecue sauce which meant our celiac kids could eat it. Ate it with their backed potato and the dressing that came with it. From ordering to getting the food to go took about 90 seconds. Even McDonalds will get a run for their money on speed of delivery and lose every time on taste and quality. If I could - I would eat here all year round. Unfortunately, we will go back to Denmark - we can get the meat but not this quality of barbecue.

Solid barbecue on Marco Island. Worth a trip.

My husband and son are huge BBQ lovers. We wanted to try this place for takeout while on vacation. My husband and teen son are not big on the side dishes but I enjoyed the beans the most. We had ribs, pulled pork and the bone in white meat chicken dinners. We really enjoyed them all. I preferred the tangy bbq sauce. As people have posted, all the meats were super tender but no smoke flavor which we are used to with our place at home. This place is really good though. Lots of food for your money and it’s so tender. Perfectly packed for us. We will be back for sure next trip.

Family Meal is a great deal and a lot of food

We live close by and typically go to Texas Tony's for BBQ but decided to try the Michelbob's on Marco. The Family meal is a lot even for 4 people to share. All of the meat is tender and well seasoned. The sides are great too. If you are a meat lover, it won't disappoint.

Tremendous Take Away especially the Ribs

On our holidays in Marco Island I was desperate to try a Smokehouse restaurant unfortunately there were no local restaurants with that theme however after reading about Michelbob's Ribs I had to try their takeout. I definitely wasn’t disappointed as the ribs,sausages and chicken were tremendous especially the ribs. I would definitely recommend Michelbob's Ribs. 10/10 for taste and value for money. 👍🏼😎😎😎☀️

The best Anna n staff almost perfect. The food. Superb fast friendly n efficient it’s a take wonderful experience for all!!! Ribs chicken pulled pork sausage n fixens too. So call walk in or just be patient while you shop a boutique X door 40% off. Enjoy candies while you wait You’ll not be disappointed try it ! Soon

Just a great meal and deal

Birthday takeout for 5 people. Ordered 6 rib meals. Easily enough food for 8 people with the baked beans, Cole slaw, baked potatoes and corn on the cob. We all enjoyed it very much and it was reasonably priced.
