For 37 years, we have had our anniversary dinner at Cafe de Marco. This year was the big 50! The staff was wonderful and the cuisine was perfect. As always, the lobster bisque was nothing short of amazing. Best seafood on the island, and for...that matter, best in Florida. Thank you Sandy for having such a consistent staff over the years.More

We are exploring the eateries of Marco having purchased a beach property last year. We had a "decent" night largely due to our waiter (Scott). The food choices were okay however nothing special. The salads that came with the meal said it all - the...kitchen got them out...minimal cooler or diverse tastes. The Ahi Tuna was not particularly fresh. Not having a full bar and poor wine list did not help their cause. We would suggest you try somewhere else. PS-they also need to spend some dollars on maintenance.More

Café de Marco was always one of my favorite restaurants. Haven’t been there for a couple of years due to Covid. I decided it was time for a nice dinner again. The rolls and honey butter were delicious and hot. Snapper almond on the regular...menu was overcooked, dry and tasteless. To end the meal I had a cappuccino. Awful! It was watered down so no flavor and no foam. Just some white floating on top. Service was OK. We didn’t want to be rushed. I don’t know what is happened to the restaurant but I hope it isn’t an indication that it has gone downhill since my last visit.More

Old school restaurant on Marco. Honestly these days there are much better selections. There is better quality food at Chilis. Fish special was mostly breading and very bland. Wedge salad was embarrassing and served sitting in a pool of water. And it’s the only restaurant...on the island where the staff doesn’t mask. I didn’t care but it’s an interesting observation.More

We went here for dinner with friends, and we all loved our entrées and appetizers! Connie was our waitress and she was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They have an outdoor patio, a porch, a smaller quaint area, and a dining room -...all lovely ambience. We have eaten here before and we have never had a bad experience. We’ll be back, Cafe de Marco!More

My wife and I visited Cafe de Marco 10 years ago during our first visit to Marco Island, but never made it back until this week. The meal was wonderful! I started with the Ahi Tuna, which was nicely presented with mandarin oranges, pickles ginger...and wasabi. My spouse had the lobster bisque, which was the most flavorful that I have sampled. We both had specials for the entrée, The Alaskan King Crab for her, which was nicely cracked and ready to eat, very tasty, with drawn butter, and I had the Branzino. The service, from Connie, was exceptional. She was pleasant, attentive, humorous and gave great recommendations. We will certainly return, likely next week.More

Really liked the local/old town/island vibe, and was then very impressed with the flavor and portion size of my entree (surf and turf, with two prawns added). The lobster bisque is to die for, as well as the Cafe Puff for dessert, but the highlight...of the evening was our super friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging server, Connie; she turned a fantastic meal into an amazing dining experience! Highly recommend.More

I'm not sure if they are. I haven't traveled there in the winter. A place as great as it is, I wouldn't be surprised if they are open though.
