What a great dining experience! The food was amazing, a great selection of appetizers & entrees: fresh fish, steaks. And the desserts were SO good! Our waitress, Charla, was knowledgeable, courteous & friendly. Our best dining experience on Marco Island.

Two perfects evenings. Can‘t remember to be hosted so heartfully during my travels around the US. Wonderful experience from check-in to service and food. Had salmon as a starter and steak fries as a entree, and the sea bass on my second visit. Fantastic! And...don’t miss the apple tart for dessert. Special thanks to Robert and Jacob. You do a fantastic job! Don‘t miss this place when you are in the area. Will return!More

If you want great food and attentive service (Andrea from I think Serbia was great) in a restaurant with "old Florida charm" this historical setting is for you. WE LOVED IT! The food was outstanding - the "special" was SeaBass topped with crab and it...was excellent - the short ribs were absolutely delicious! Dessert was also wonderful - you could tell it was homemade... we had little puff pastries covered with chocolate. The dessert was light, fluffy, and scrumptious! Oh and the music/ piano player had everyone in the bar area up and dancing - what a fun place! We will go back. The clientele, mostly an older crowd, included couples, groups and a few families. But everyone seemed to be having a great time!More

We visit this restaurant each year when we visit the area. The food and service are very good, but we come for the piano bar. Dancing, sing-a-longs... so much fun. Trying to grab as much of this before piano bars disappear from our culture.

With all the ups and downs in the food industry, I will only give out my opinions on good restaurants. There are plenty of bad meals on Marco; thankfully, this one was one of the best. Service A+ From the warm welcome at the front...desk to all the service staff, competent and friendly. Ambiance B- My preference is not for a cozy and warm look. I don't like the carpet on the floors. This was a comfortable look going on, and some rooms were filled with books which is not something I think is sanitary or necessary. But the carpet didn't stink, and I got over the weird interior because the food was fantastic. Cleanliness A+ I base this on the overall impression, and even though they had carpet, it was clean and didn't have any odor. They got an A+ because the bathroom was spotless. Food A+ We have been here two times. It is better than any "French" restaurant in Naples. The prices are better too. I would eat here again. It is now one of my favorites.More

Extraordinary evening with all our selections exceeding our expectations! . The rack of lamb was with every penny so tender moist and flavorful. And the creme brûlée to die for! Left me feeling lavished upon and special as the birthday girl! My husband raved over...the smoked salmon and mussels and the chocolate decadence dessert! Stan steered us in the right direction for us! What a treat to have authentic French food in Marco!More

We had corner round table. Our server was terrific! I had the night special which was triple tail. It had absolutely no flavor. Definitely a disappointment considering what it cost. It’s an old historic hotel. Unfortunately it’s beginning to show its age. Over my friend’s...head was a light fixture that had come out of the wall and was just hanging. I would suggest a table away from the music if you want to have a conversation. I’m not going to rush back to this restaurant. Marco has so many others to choose from.More

The entree “Canard” was fabulous!!! As described on the menu…. Slowly roasted crispy duck a l’ orange. It was cooked perfectly, just as described. The mussels were good, the salads were good, and the onion soup was very good as well. It was the crispy...duck that sold me on this French restaurant!!!More

Certainly the best French Cuisine we have found on Marco. Lisa (front of house) and Denis (chef) have created something special. A wide choice of cocktails, world class wines and menu which is superb. Presentation, quality of cuisine and service are all world class. There...are many restaurants on Marco Island and several are very good. Bistro Soleil however is outstanding, in a league I'd it's own and a must for a special evening during a visit to Marco. Also, they have live music most nights but at a volume that adds to the experience and doesn't stop good conversation. Don't miss this one!More

We read the rave reviews but for our first dinner were disappointed. Service was fine but they were not seating outside and we found the inside to be a little old and musty. Sadly were not wowed by any of our selections as we expect...at a french restaurant.More

We started with different appetizers - from the salmon to Bruschetta - rather average taste and presentation. Next course was the salad - rather boring dressing but at least the salad was fresh. Main dish was the short ribs for me - excellent taste and...good size portion, rather unusual for a French Restaurant - and grouper for my wife. The fish was a disappointment - just tasteless. Dessert was a cake with berries in cream - too much biscuit and not enough berries, meaning rather cheap recipe. But at least the rolls were fresh and good and the wines red and white and the champagne were very fine quality. Our waiter delivered an outstanding service. Life music was also an highlight.More

This is probably the best Romantic place on Marco. Food is very good and not too pricey for Marco. Their service does not rush you. Very relaxing experience.

The service was Excellent. . At this time of the year they have a piano bar Friday and Saturday nights . The piano bar is a nice experience with many people dancing and laughing . Many of the patrons seemed to be locals or regulars...to the restaurant. The food was very good. I would recommend the Snapper or the Filet Mignon . There is a duck entree on the menu I am going to try on my next visit. We sat in the “library “ . Which is a nice dining area away from the piano bar. I am looking forward to my next visitMore
