A local favorite, John G’s is an iconic breakfast restaurant and a superb place for a delicious lunch. We have been enjoying this landmark eatery for over 25 years and the same great food, and excellent service as it ever has been. Their consistency over...the years has remained with the new ownership in recent times. So glad they are continuing the tradition of fine dining with family ambiance! Our visit today impressed us even more with their adherence to health protocols to combat COVID and keep their patrons and staff safe!More

The food was ok. The waitress was very defensive and the person in charge doesn't know how to talk to customers, practically blaming us for being hungry and impatient

Last year I wrote a less than stellar review in large part due to their not taking credit cards and average service. This year our experience was VERY different. In addition to taking CC, we’ve been served twice by Teresa and overall had a great...experience. Kudos!!More

Although I preferred the location on the beach, the quality and service still intact! We ate from breakfast menu on a beautiful day and took advantage of outdoor seating.

As always, there'll be a wait during high season, but the fried fish sandwich or platter will more than satisfy you. Not fancy, but a great deal!

Recently enjoyed my favorite Breakfast Entre. Delicious as always. The new owners are doing a great job keeping this restaurant as it was before. Wait staff is friendly & accommodating as always Definitely a place to visit for breakfast or lunch.

Sorry PEOPLE I and my wife been going to john,G,for sea food lunch ever since 1995 never had any problems with there food The old owners sold out frew month ago .never had problems with Jay,or willies cooking and the rest of the old owners...food was allways great and tasty .BUT NEW OWNERS NEEDs new COOKS, FOOD TASTE AWFUL. OLD JOHN 'G . ANYWAY NEW OWNER PAID TOO KEEP THE NAME JOHN'G BUT THE NEW OWNERS DON'T COME CLOSE TO THE QUALITY OF JOHN'G Food.We don't mind spending 30.00 for a plate food, john 'G seafood combo but the fish was okay but the rest of it was UNDER cooked, batter was falling off what was left on After cook mess it up.wife ordered seafood Newport or whatever the old john'g was in a cream sauce, but this was in a butter SAUCE,AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY CRAB MEAT IN IT AT ALL,sauces was AWFUL . That also wasn't cooked like john'g recipes . Like the new owner said they are the same as the old owners recipes no way that's true..But on the good side of lunch the waitress was Great. But the Seventy dollar lunch for two was the worst we every had .(Don't expect the old JOHN'G,ANY MORE.NEW OWNERS PAIDED FOR THE NAME JOHN'G don't waste your money folks.(BUDS SEAFOOD IS NOW BETTER THAN JOHN'G.).VERY DISPOINTED WITH THE FOOD SERVED!( And we will never eat there again.)PS,THE OLD OWNERS OF JOHN'G Restaurant WILL B MIS along with the Restaurant.OVER ALL THE YEARS GOING TO JOHN,G,ME AND MY WIFE LIKE TO THANK MrJay, old owners and top cook ,and his hole family for all of great food, and service over the years from the old John'g Restaurant ,and from his old cooks Mr Willie.Thank you all.Mr Harris,2/21/2020.....😤😭😂🤣More

My wife and I went there today all was well except the coleslaw we have always loved John G's coleslaw today it was inedible. It seemed to have no dressing, it was completely tasteless and we both took one bite and left the rest. You...always know there will be changes with new owners but if it isn't broke don't fix it.More
