I've been eating here for a while and I have to say: "This place have it all". You can go upstairs for a fine dinning or stay downstairs for a more casual atmosphere, either way you'll have the best Italian food in town. Their market has everything you need, cheeses, fresh meats, fish, homemade sauces, wines, even their own candies... More

We stopped in for lunch and all four of us had a wonderful experience. It is an Italian market filled with unique Italian specialities from fresh bread, meats and cheeses and many specialities with tables through out the store for dining. What a great idea and what wonderful food.

The food and service here is consistently superior to other fine restaurants in the area. We like the fact that it has comfortable and private booths and also carpeted, so that unlike other restaurants, you don't have to scream at each other to speak over dinner. The only surprising disappointment during this visit is that one of the guys at... More

We visited the downstairs section of Antonio's today for a late lunch. (The upstairs restaurant is somewhat more formal, and we wanted a more casual dining experience.) The downstairs restaurant is also a deli and Italian grocery store, and is quite charming with the tables situated amongst the shelves - although there are simply too many tables too close to... Enjoy the lower level for casual dining (upstairs is a bit more formal). Food is consistently good and the price is reasonable. It's not Chicago, but the pizzas are good. Nice Italian market for take out with very good bakery.

We were with a friend that had seen this restaurant on a previous visit to Orlando and wanted to try it. There is an Italian market/cafe on the first floor and a restaurant will full service upstairs. We had appetizers (stuffed mushrooms, caprese, bread) that were so good, and their sauce is tasty. We each had a different entree and... More

We moved to Maitland a few years ago and discovered Antonios Downstairs, which has a wonderful trattoria feel with an amazing market, wine, and liquor selection. David is amazing when it comes to any spirit. You pay competitive market price plus a $5 corkage fee, and David will educate the most well versed wine connoisseur on the selection. He wit... More

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in the greater Orlando area! I eat there whenever I am in the Orlando area. Their food is cooked in a wood-fired oven and it tastes superb. My favorites are Calzone Rustica, Rosemary Chicken and Lasagna. Many people tell me their favorite entree there is Eggplant Parmesan, although I have never tried it. They... More

We always enjoy Antonio's. If we go upstairs or downstairs to eat the food is always fresh and flavorful. It's great to have a consistent restaurant close to home.

Description
Antonio's Maitland has two unique Restaurants with their own distinct personalities and flair for producing a superior traditional Italian dining experience. The two restaurants are Antonio's Ristorante upstairs and Antonio's Market & Cafe downstairs, both co-located in Maitland, Florida at 611 South Orlando Avenue. Antonio's Upstairs Maitland, also known as Antonio's La Fiamma Ristorante, is an experience you must try. The feeling you get on entry is like being transformed to a place in Italy where the aroma's smell intoxicating, and the atmosphere is inviting like a "Tuscan Villa". Options abound inside the upstairs restaurant from the elegant main dining room, to the beautiful "Balcony" overlooking Lake Lily, to an engaging and vibrant bar area, and well appointed private dining rooms. In addition to the facilities, the cuisine is a delicious combination of of Italy's varied regions. Accompanied by an extensive wine list and prepared by Antonio's award winning Chef's, your olfactory and visual senses immediately come alive when you walk in the door. The smells of wonderful foods prepared using wood burning ovens produces the best Orlando offers for Black Angus Steaks, Fresh Seafood and a variety of classical Italian dishes designed to please your palate. People from all over Orlando, Maitland, Winter Park and other suburbs make it a point to stop by. Ntonio's Market & Cafe Downstairs Maitland is one-of-a-kind in greater Orlando. Upon entering, you will be greeted with warm, friendly faces and immediately, you will encounter the Antonio's Aroma! That smell says it all..."La vita e` TROPPO BREVE Per Mangiare MALE"....Translation "Life is Too Short to not Eat Good". The Market & Cafe has ample seating inside and out, and if you are "on the go", stop by and grab any of our freshly prepared dishes for your convenience. One of the more unique features of the Market & Cafe is the shopping. Before you sit down for lunch or dinner, get your favorite bottle of wine, and your server will cork it for you tableside. Same price as if you were walking out the door with a nominal $5 corkage fee to accompany your meal. The store has a large selection of prepared dishes, Italian meats, cheeses, pasta, fresh vegetables, along with numerous other unique food items and dry good products for your kitchen. Antonio's is a great place for that special gift for the hard to please, and gift cards are available.
