About
Established in 2007 We are a casual waterfront restaurant located on the boardwalk in Johns Pass Village. We started as a small ice cream and coffee shop in 2007. We slowly expanded over the next few years slowly bringing in more and more food items. Now we are a one stop shop on the boardwalk for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We pride ourselves in the quality of our food and love to hangout on the boardwalk and talk about fishing. Come on out and try our Authentic New England Lobster Roll, our delicious fish tacos and of course our famous Boardwalk fries, you wont be dissapointed.

2 of us split a lobster roll and an order of onion rings at this quaint little cafe overlooking the water. The lobster roll was butter based, instead of mayo, and it was amazing! What it lacked in length, it made up for in girth. :) The surprise star of the show was then hand dipped, beer battered onion rings. They were SO good! For the very first time in my life, I felt as if I channeled my inner Guy Fieri and wanted to tell the world how seriously LEGIT these onion rings were. Huge and crispy, but the onion was sweet and firm... I miss them already.

We stopped in for dinner during the week. I had the lobster roll with large pieces of meat, delicious. We also had the fish and chips, a large portion of fish and fresh cut fries. The shrimp were also good. Everyone was very friendly and good service at this quaint dockside restaurant.

Every time we come to Madeira beach we stop at boardwalk grill so I can get my lobster roll fix. It tastes as fresh as Maine rolls and a good amount for the price. Our server Christy is just a joy and we were able to eat inside with tables abiding by the code, they even had hand sanitizer at the table. They have great fries and the burgers looked massive at the other table, will have to try. Lots of people were doing carry out that the guy was outside taking orders. The location is great cause it looks over the docks and its fun to check out the boardwalk.

Went there at 1pm on a Tuesday. Place was somewhat crowded. Went inside to give our name and wait. The guy seating people said “it will be 30 minutes wait outside.” So we decided to take out. The four of us ordered grouper bites, a lobster roll and onion rings, close to a $40 bill. 40 minutes later the place started clearing out. We told the guy we’d like to sit at an empty table. “No, sorry, but you already ordered take out and you jumped line and it wouldn’t be fairy o those waiting”!!!!! What!? No one was waiting..... 15 minutes later the food finally came in a bag. We went down the stairs sat at a park bench only to discover we had no napkins! The lobster roll was good, but the bun was stale. The grouper bites were so well done they were hard. In the end, the guy didn’t win us over and the food hardly did. With all the dining options there, I’d keep walking and roll the dice elsewhere.

We drove from Tampa to visit this restaurant as we heard good things about their lobster roll. The lobster roll was the only good thing about this experience but we won’t be going back. The fries were terrible. When we mentioned to the server we didn’t like them, she said “well everyone likes these fries.. we cut them fresh daily..” Server had an attitude instead of offering other items to replace the fries. I didn’t love the fries either yet I wanted to so bad because I haven’t met a fry I don’t like. I tried like 3 and just couldn’t eat them. When we got the bill, she took the fries off of my friends check and when I asked about taking them off of mine, she said “my manager saw you eat some so we can’t take them off.” Next thing you know, manager comes over and all but throws the check at me to let me know she took the fries off. They also tried charged us for sauces ($0.50 each) that we didn’t use (because we didn’t eat the fries) and she gave us grief about removing the sauces. The lobster roll is $27 and not worth that much money. Add ons like fries or onions rings are extra. I wanted to love this experience yet I am beyond disappointed in the service. My friend didn’t like her dish at all. On top of this, their AC was out and it was 96° inside. Beware: rude service, dirty inside, overpriced food.

Ordered deep fried pickles. Gross. WHen cut oil just ooozed from the inside and the pickle so thin it just was eating greasy batter. The other couple ordered mozarella sticks. Never came and when we asked....told they were just up (as we were getting served our dinner) and we said nevermind. We were told they would take off bill and still brought to table. After, she came over and said she spoke with manager and unable to take off bill because they were eaten. (only had 2 of basket). and still..wanted as an appetizer not served with dinner....very bad customer service! ...grouper fried basket was way to done, I woud consider burnt batter. Extremely greasy. WE all agreed we will not go back. WE have returned to many, but certainly will never return here.

Really great food. Busy small restaurant on the boardwalk well worth a visit. The philly tastes like it’s straight from New York! The lobster roll busting with meat and hand cut fries!!!!! The onion rings are ginormous! Friendly staff, decent prices!

I visit this restaurant regularly but after today I wont be back. The cook kept wiping his face and cooking the food while wearing the same gloves. Not to mention wearing his face mask on his chin it was Disgusting. The only person who was working was the lady serving us. She was cleaning floorboards while the others stood around.

Omg the BEST steak philly and chicken philly we ever had! The hand cut fries with specially made dang sauce , can’t say enough good things. Small, casual limited seating but worth the wait. Beer and wine sold.

Our server Kritin was fabulous! She was on the ball and gave us many suggestions. We ate at an outside table and while waiting to be seated enjoyed the scenery from the boardwalk watching boats & sightseeing tours come & go. We were VERY IMPRESSED by the attention they took to cleaning the table before seating us! Table, chairs and all serving items (napkin holder, salt & pepper, ketchup & sauces) were all wiped down! They also have a small spray bottle of hand sanitizer on the table!! We split the turkey club (it's huge!) and made it a combo with onion rings & a soda! ordered a side on onion rings...very good and a good portion!

Excellent Food! We went there to have the fish we caught on our charter made into fish tacos. The service was great. The cook even came out to explain the different options we had in cooking up our fish. We chose the tacos which were amazing. The prices were reasonable. We would definitely return.

Went for lunch on a dreary rainy day and lucked out with a table inside. Place is small, only 6 tables inside and 3 outside so be prepared to wait as it is quite busy. Parking is difficult unless you are willing to pay $5/hour or $20 all day. Service was fast and attentive and the place was clean but simple in terms of looks and decor. But you go here for the food and the locale (overlooking Johns Pass). Now for the food--fried clam strips were tasty but I believe previously frozen and not fresh or local. They were also quite small, very crispy and about 1/4th of them were tiny kernels at the bottom of the dish. Fries that came with it were very good and plentiful. The cheesesteak had lots of beef but was light on the cheese and needed seasoning as it was bland to the taste. Prices were incredibly reasonable for the amount of food they serve. Given that it takes 50 minutes to get there from our location don't think we'll hurry back.

The food was awesome, Staff was excellent, friendly and the Service was great. They also recommended 2 other establishments that had a Cuban Sandwich I was looking for that they did not offer. I will definitely go there every time we go to Johns Pass! Great job guys!

This place is a hidden treasure in John’s Pass! I read reviews about their lobster rolls and figured we’d give it a shot for dinner. The woman sitting next to us just finished her lobster roll and said it was the best she’s ever had. So I ordered one and it didn’t disappoint! I think it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life! They are not skimpy on the lobster, it was very tasty and flavorful, and served on a toasted buttery roll. DELICIOUS!!!! Husband had a burger and said it was delicious! The onion rings and fries were also delicious. Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right! I was also glad not to feel like I was in a touristy restaurant with overpriced subpar food! The server and staff were very friendly always checking in on us, that’s always appreciated by customers! I have to say this is my #1 spot in Johns pass and the Madeira Beach area! Thank you for an excellent meal!
