Our meals were served luke warm, they would have been delicious if it wasn't for that. Also, when asked for parmesan cheese, one would think it would be freshly grated, but it was no better than the questionable ground stuff in plastic shakers at the...grocery store. Not impressed.More

We are from Massachusetts. Visiting for our niece's wedding. Googled "Italian restaurant near Citrus Park" and lucked out. Called and asked if we could get in. When we were told "sure" on a Friday night at 6:30 my husband was worried. Thought that it would...be empty. It was a big restaurant and very busy. The wine list, very important to me, was large and varied. Many recognizable bottles and many upscale bottles. Our waiter, Tim, was efficient friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a bottle of Zonin Amarone. Tim offered to decant it for us. It was awesome. The owner greeted us and was very friendly. The menu was large enough to have something for everyone and small enough not to have Robert Irvine pop a vein. We ordered 2 of the specials, swordfish over spinach with a bruschetta topping and blackened filet mignon tips served over a grape tomato and sweet pea risotto. Both were out of this world. When we left we told the owner how much we loved our experience and he seemed genuinely grateful to hear it. Only suggestion: put the prices of the specials on the board. 10/10More

I was hesitant because it was in a strip mall, but local friends had recommended this place, so I was willing. We started out with the Fiocchi Di Enzo which was fabulous and the Mozzarella Caprese (not my favorite, but I'm not a raw tomato...fan, to be fair). Our server sold me on the Vitello Saltimbocca, but had to come back and tell me they had sold out, so instead I chose the Pollo Florentino. The chicken lacked flavor/seasoning, but the Insalate Misto Di Colore could very well have been my favorite thing I ate all week!More

The food, service and value at this restaurant is remarkable. We were impressed with everything and would recommend this to anyone in the Tampa area. I hope Nabruzzi Trattoria keeps doing what it is doing.

We visited this restaurant after a golf outing in the general area. It was wonderful! We split a chicken dish and each had an excellent side salad. The salad had apples, goat cheese, candied nuts and was delicious. The chicken was stuffed with a pesto...mix and served with a wonderful side of pasta. There was a good wine selection and reasonable prices for wine. The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable. I would come to this restaurant again!More

We just celebrated our anniversary at Nabruzzi. We have lived in the area for 21 years and have been meaning to try this restaurant for a long time. I ordered panko crusted chicken with a spicy pepper sauce and my husband ordered pasta a la...vodka. Both dishes were hot, fresh and prepared just right! Dinners are accompanied by a choice of soup or salad and bread. For dessert we split a piece of delicious homemade tiramisu. By today’s standards, the prices are reasonable especially since meals include soup or salad (small ones but still appreciated). The service was great, our waitress was friendly and efficient. The only slight negative has to do with first impressions. The gentleman sitting at the desk by the front door I assume is the owner. His greeting was less than welcoming. We kind of felt like we walked in on something we weren’t invited to. He just gave us a silent blank look when we walked in. I had to volunteer that we had a reservation. Not taking the first impression personally, we very much enjoyed our dinner and plan to return.More

There were six of us in the party. Our food came out in a timely manner and our server was very good. Three people ordered pizzas. They were all good. My shrimp dinner had very little taste although the shrimps were huge. Two other meals...were pretty good. Their menu doesn't have the choices that it used to have. It was a good experience and will go again.More

We've been wanting to try this place for a few months. It has great reviews and it seemed like a good choice. We went with our small daughter. To begin with, they didn't give her a plate for bread or silverware, almost like she didn't...exist. The servers all seemed overwhelmed and rushed. We started with a bruschetta that was Ok but that's a really hard plate to mess up. I ordered a pollo toscana that was supposed to be light breaded and with a white wine sauce. OMG, I couldn't eat it. It was the first time in my life that I returned a plate in a restaurant. The chicken tasted boiled, with no flavor or seasoning. The sauce was so, so thick, that it seemed like gravy. It was a complete disaster. My husband ordered a Frutti di mare. It was equally awful. Two shrimps in a $30 dish and it had so much tomato sauce that you could barely taste the seafood. The experience was so bad that we didn't order dessert. This is definitely not authentic Italian food and it isn't worth the price. We won't be giving it another chance.More

Very little parking. Service was slow once they started to get a little busy. Ordered the mussels, but they were tasteless. I ordered the shrimp with angel hair pasta. It was served with ordinary pasta. When asked why it was so much bigger than angel...hair, they said it was their angel hair pasta. Right. The sauce was a kind of slippery, clear sauce. No taste, very, very bland. Very over-priced for what you get. Not returning.More

Staff was super friendly. Server was helpful but not very attentive. Food was good but far from the best, flavors were bland. Beer and wine only. Parking is tuff, very small parking lot. Wouldn't go out of way to get here.

Worth the long drive we made on a friend's recommendation. The exterior hides a delightful surprise. Authentic Italian. Every staff member exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Our server offered detailed information on the menu as...well as "off menu" items. While everything is delicious you have to try to the Tagliatelle Alla Vodka dish. Homemade from top to bottom. Serene atmosphere; reasonable prices. Definitely returning.More

This restaurant has been one I raved about. I have been a handful of times and it was always a good experience. I haven’t been in a long long time and brought someone last night who’s never been. The waitress was new, so not her...fault. I ordered a merlot, she let me know they were out and would bring me a wine similar. She came back with a white wine. She then gave me a light red, nothing comparable. I switched to a Malbec, and it tasted like it was open but not sealed properly and it was bitter. Also refrigerated. But the wine wasn’t the main issue. The soup was good, but Luke warm. The pasta, wasn’t cooked! At this point, with uncooked pasta we just laughed and ate it anyways. We were going to get desert, and decided not to eat it there, as everything has been pretty bad from the drink to the dinner: we were there for almost two hours…..service was slow which is okay, but to have uncooked pasta? So disappointing.More

Very congenial and pleasant place to visit. Staff friendly and helpful. Seafood dinner and eggplant parm were very good. Enough to take home! Pear pasta appetizer interesting. Only recommendation would be to have all entrees on the menu. Nice to have specials and server was...on target to let us know about other menu items. Eggplant parm (not on the menu) was perfectly delicious. Will definitely return. Reasonable prices, nice atmosphere.More

Barnabas was phenomenal! We have never had such an efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional wait staff. He introduced us to all of the entrees, pizzas, and side dishes, as well as the specials for the day, in great detail. We were celebrating the birthdays of...two friends, and all of us chose something different - and delicious! Before we ordered the entrees, everyone at the table enjoyed the Mozzzarella Capresse and Calamari Fritti. Not a single bite was left! All of it was delicious. Husband and I had pizza - Avezzano and Traditional. Both were amazing! Friends who had the Fruitti Di Mare and Braciola Di Maiale Bellagio could not stop raving. One finished every bite of the former, and the other had to take half home since there was too much to finish. The birthday girls (65 & 89) had the Aragosta Ravioli Galietta (finished every bite!) and Vitello Nabruzzi (too much, and had to take half home). Unfortunately, two in our party did not care for their spicy veal. They complained that it was tough, and too spicy. Barnabas was so accommodating. He did not charge one for his entree as he did not want something else. Our friend (91) has a finicky palate and he has problems liking anything too unusual. He did enjoy the soup and bread. Our other friend (99) chose the risotto and pork - but only ate the risotto. Barnabas charged her only half as she only ate half of her entrée. She did enjoy the salad. The birthday girls got cannolis! Two of us had the Spumoni (decadent!) and another had the Coppa Catalana. It was so good - like the Spumoni. I didn't think I had room for Spumoni. But I did! We are definitely returning to Nabruzzi Trattoria. Everything (for us) was fabulous, and Barnabas was icing on the cake. We hope he will be there each and every time we return. He was the BEST!!More

My husband and I had dinner at Nabruzzi last night. We ordered brochette as a starter. The bread was very soggy and unappetizing. Tomatoes on top were just ok. We did not eat the appetizer. Our main course veal arrived and the presentation was very...unappetizing. The whole plate has a mushy appearance. The veal was tasty but the linguine was not cooked correctly. In fact it was close to being raw. The first time we ate at this restaurant the food was delicious. The second time was just ok. After last night needless to say we will never go back. With wine, appetizer, main entree, coffee and dessert the meal was costly and very disappointing.More
