We had a reservation for 8 people , our server was excellent however that’s where it ended. all the meals with one exception were room temperature to cold when received . One meal was brought out nearly 10 minutes after the other 7 meals and even it was cold. Four person ordered the veal parm which was tasty but very dry. This restaurant has all the promise but needs to get their kitchen in order, it appears very disorganized. One last comment is that of the washrooms, avoid them toilet was broken and was fishy, obviously the staff doesn’t check them regularly. Won’t be returning to Rodello’s any time soon

First time dining at this restaurant. When we arrived, the host asked "do you have a reservation?" (only one table was occupied). ?? We were promptly seated, and drink order taken. We started with the bruschetta, which was delicious & bursting with flavor. Entrees come with soup or salad. My garden salad was fresh & crispy. I ordered the chicken parmesan over spaghetti, it was very good. My partner enjoyed the pasta soup and lasagna. Entree portions are large. Give this place a try, you'll be glad you did.

Perfect Pizza!

Our first visit here, we were impressed with reasonable prices, friendly server and delicious Italian dishes! We started with a small blue cheese/prosciutto/ pear/fig jam pizza and loved it. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and fettuccine Alfredo and took half of those plus half the pizza home.

We enjoy stopping here because we always have a great meal when we do and tonight was no exception. I had the chicken parmesan and my wife have the chicken piccata and both arrived piping hot and delicious. The only problem is we can't eat all of it so we had to take some home. We did manage to keep some room for the raspberry cheesecake, which was also really good. Some people think the wait may be long, but when you have fresh made food every time, it takes just a bit longer and that's how it works. Our food came out at exactly the same time and like I said, it was perfect. There are a few other Italian restaurants that we like to frequent, but Rodello's is our number one. The atmosphere, food and service is very good every time we come and tonight our server was Gabriel and he did a great job.

Rude Manager, Ridiculous Refund Policy

Do not support this place! The manager is extremely rude! I have never had such a terrible customer service experience with a restaurant in my life. We ordered take out for 7 people. We received one entree that was completely wrong and one entree that was missing the added chicken (for an extra charge). We called to ask if we could get a refund on that entree and the chicken. We were told that their policy is that the food must be returned to the restaurant in order to get a refund. The manager refused to do anything for us. I called back right away and i explained again our situation. The manager was firm on their policy. I asked to speak to someone higher up and he said he already conferred with the owner. Then I was actually HUNG UP ON by the manager. Just go somewhere else you’ll have a better time and better food.

DISGUSTING FOOD!

DISGUSTING FOOD! We were wondering why veal dishes were $18-$19 and now we know why! The veal picata was awful-unidentifiable meat; definitely not veal or the cheapest version of it! The picata sauce was awful and the spaghetti was limp and very overboiled. He also had the chef's special-the paprika seafood with mussels and shrimp (barely any). We heard another couple state that they're never coming back due to the awful food. The only people that would like this food are the ones that are looking for cheap, lousy quality and tasteless food! This place is terrible!

Rodello's Italian Restaurant

It was our first time going to Rodello's last night. We've driven past it several times and thought it looked nice from the outside. The inside had a Tuscan flair. Booths were small and tight. We were a party of 4 and were promptly seated at a booth. Our server came to take our drink orders and both couples ordered a bottle of wine. The server brought back two bottles to our table but not the wine that we ordered. When he got the right bottles he proceeded to open them and pour the wine into our glasses without having us taste the wine first. Had we tasted the wine, we would have told our friends to order a different bottle as we were not impressed with the Merlot that we chose. Instead, he opened up both bottles so we let it breathe as much as we could while drinking. We then ordered an antipasto for the table, along with our choice of soup or salad with our entrees. The antipasto, soup and side salads all arrived at the same time. The antipasto was mainly lettuce with a couple of pieces of ham and mozzarella, olives and pepperoncini. It was disappointing that it was mostly lettuce. Had we known, we would not have ordered it as we had a side salad with our meal. Then main entrees arrived after we finished our salad . My husband ordered the mignon and finocchi, asking for the filet to be medium rare. It was closer to med-well done. Our friend ordered mignon and pasta. I ordered the Pescatore pasta as did the wife of our friend. The Pescatore was disappointing as the marina sauce tasted like it came from a jar and not home-made. It was pasty and acidy and left a "bite" on the tongue. After dinner we ordered dessert. The cannoli were good. The hot fudge brownie sundae was mostly smothered in whip cream and very little ice cream. We felt that this restaurant was a disappointment and did not meet our expectations based on other reviews that we've read. It was not worth the drive and most likely we won't be going back.

Perfect Valentine's choice!

This isn't our first visit and whenever we have dinner here, we are immediately reminded why we return and wonder why we just don't come here more often. It's that's good. Tonight we had the chicken piccata and the chicken parmesan and both were excellent choices. The salad, meals, atmosphere and service are all about as good as you could expect. Our server was Jackson and he took excellent care of us. The surprise to us - was that we spent only slightly more than we have recently at a local pub, but the difference in quality was night and day. The restaurant is very affordable. The only downside is, we couldn't fit any dessert - we were full!

Not that busy. We were seated in a booth, given menus. No one waited on us, people came in after us, were seated and ordered their food. No one ever came to our table. They could have the best Italian food this side of Italy, but I’m not going back

Now Rodello's is becoming a favorite

This is not our first time here and I keep thinking that it just can't be as good as the last time, right? Well, it is just as good as last time and it was maybe even better. Everything is made fresh and so the wait may be slightly longer, but by the time you get your drinks, bread and oil, then salads, you don't even believe it's time for the entree's and the food is excellent. If you like fresh Italian food, then this one has to rank with the best places in the area. The setting, service and atmosphere are all good and it's a large enough area to feel pretty safe during the pandemic. All of the employees wear a mask as well. We were there tonight for a special birthday and it all went very well. The host was John and our server was Will, who did an excellent job - always there before you needed anything! The portions are large and we always expect to finish our meals, but always end up taking food home. We'll be back again and very soon.

We just moved to the area and did not think that we could possibly find an Italian restaurant as good as our favorite in Orlando. We were happily surprised! We both had the lasagna and it was excellent with generous and delicious fillings and sauce with perfectly cooked pasta. The house salad was also very good and the Italian dressing was so good we asked if we could buy some. The service was also very good, as were the prices, especially considering how much we took home. We look forward to going back and often!

We were able to make a Mother’s Day reservation in the bar three hours before as Florida’s restaurants were opening under new pandemic rules. Service was swift and friendly at our table ready when we arrived. The shrimp risotto was lightly and lusciously lemony. My husband said his chicken piccata was as good as homemade. Mom raved about her ravioli in meat sauce, and Ron was thrilled that the spaghetti with Italian sausage he loved was generous enough to last two nights! We’ll definitely be back!!

Rodello's Italian Restaurant is spacious, clean, and nicely appointed. The chairs are comfortable. The restrooms are well maintained. Our group of six kept the waiter busy with requests for extras and questions about the menu. He was patient and smiling the whole time. Our drinks came promptly. Our lunches were delicious. I had eggplant with spaghetti. The marinara sauce was perfect. The spaghetti was cooked just the way I like it. I had tiramisu for dessert with coffee. That was also perfect. Since the servings are large, we all took portions home. I look forward to a return visit in the near future. Don't forget to give the wait staff a good tip!

I’m super fussy so I know this has something to do with this review, but the sauce is disgusting. It has no flavor... It tastes like tomato paste. The garlic knots were dinner rolls with a bunch of minced garlic placed on top-at first I thought it was cheesy garlic but it was not. It was straight minced garlic no butter no nothing minced garlic on top of rolls. Disgusting.. Disgusting never again.

Excellent Italian Food

Had a great lunch here. Had passed by this place numerous times and finally decided to stop. There are so many choices and staff is wonderful. Iesha, our waitress answered any questions my husband and I had. Mozzarella sticks were great as an appetizer but if we go again may try the garlic knots with alfredo sauce that our neighbors had for an app. The "beggar's purse" was a delicious dish and the baked spaghetti was a dish my husband enjoyed. Good value and plenty of places to park and plenty of room in the restaurant.
