I’ve always liked this place especially the area that you build your own dish & they cook it for you. That’s awesome. A lot of their already prepared dishes are also very good. A friend kept telling me that the Chinese buffet on University was...so much better. Wow was he wrong - no comparison. Try this one, you’ll like it, I promise. 😁More

Not all Chinese Buffets are created equal. King’s Super Buffet is average at best. I went there Friday for dinner and was greeted at the door with, “$14.99”. Why it wasn’t written on their Board was beyond me. Maybe they only have the lunch buffet...Board and yell the much inflated dinner prices at you when you enter because they hope you will leave. I wish I had. I didn’t know whether the food would be good until I tried it. I have come to thoroughly enjoy sushi 🍣 late in life. However, I prefer the sushi rolls to be labeled. They were not. They have signs posted everywhere about not wasting food, however so many of their dishes were mislabeled or unlabeled. When you aren’t certain what you are eating you may take one bite and go “I don’t like the taste of whatever this is”. I knew I was in trouble when I did not like the seaweed salad. I really like seaweed salad. Not King’s. The coconut shrimp was tasty. The chicken dishes were good. The pork was delicious. A pleasant surprise was the grilled skewered shrimp. I did not like the flavor of the grilled skewered beef. The you peel cooked shrimp were large. A quick dip in cocktail sauce and happy taste buds. If you are in the mood for lots and lots of shrimp cocktail, then definitely come to King’s otherwise go one mile due north for a far superior Chinese Buffet.More

I was searching for cheap buffets and was happy to stumble upon this. I was thrilled to see so many varieties of shrimp. My son was happy with the variety as well. I left the restaurant very happy,

The food is not fresh, not good at all. The place is dirty and need a lot of attention. We should have turned around as soon as we open the door.

It is not the RITZ by far. It is a cheap Chinese buffet near the house. At 12.99 PP including some basic sushi and crab legs you get what you pay for. It is not High end, or medium end. it is LOW end. That's...not an insult it's why your paying $12. The idiots who complain about them not speaking English too well are Morons. You have obviously never been to an inexpensive Chinese buffet before. This is not a reason to rate the place badly. The lighting is inexplicably low. I do agree with others-- Just turn on the lights.. However again not a reason to rate badly. We find it decent due to proximity, sushi, and crab. Granted the crab is put out very few pieces at a time, and are the smallest crab legs you have ever seen. The desert area is as expected, all out of box from Win Dixie or someplace cheap (not good..) Also you will not get a shell ripper, crab fork or any drawn butter. It was quite clean contrary to some reviews we read. The key is if you want a cheap buffet with some sushi and crab, your home. If you are expecting hotter fresher food. you will need to go to SANTO'S in Coconut creek. It is more like $31+ PP, but you get much higher end sushi & crab (with some butter>..) Otherwise golden corral is one mile away has extremely large selection of hot very fresh food always available for the same $12.. BUT!! No sushi or crab... Luv Golden Corral!!!!!!!!!!! But my wife digs the sushi and crab. I recommend bringing a shell ripper and crab fork with you. $12.99 a set FOR 2 on amazon.. PS.. We did not try the Hibachi BBQ cooked to order this time.. Will try it next time, and update>> And PPS.. the pictures of the raw meat out at the hibachi area is standard. They are in refrigerated compartments don't worry. AGAIN.. Not a reason to review bad.. WE read reviews and encourage them if you are a half way educated person. Use spell check if need be. otherwise u juts luuk stuupid! Grammar says what??More

Great selection of chinese food including full ribs for lunch! Prices are good except for holidays. I recently called up for prices for lunch Easter Sunday and was told $8.99 on the phone, I asked "are you sure?" and they said "yes". When I got...there it was $14.99. I left and went to Asian Buffet and Grill 5 minutes away from there (University Drive) for $8.50! Also a great buffet!More

The food tables were continually filled with fresh hot foods. There are hot and cold options as well as sushi, hibachi, and desserts. Lots of seafood options and dishes for American style meals. Most of the restaurant has been renovated and looks nice. Carpeting in...dining area needs to be replaced with same flooring around steam tables. Staff is friendly and efficient. This is a good value. If all you wanted was fish and chips you could get all you can eat for $7.99.More

Listen! I know there are many people who do not like buffets, but this one is worth every bit of the US$11.95!!!! I too have had nightmare experiences with buffets where the food appears to have been hurriedly prepared and not well presented. Not so...when I visited King's Super Buffet for the first time. The choice of seafood ranges from Sushi to myriad Shrimp dishes, oysters, crayfish, squid, salmon and other types of fish. The food was fresh and deliciously cooked. I particularly enjoyed the clam chowder and the rice noodles (tender without being overcooked). There was a range of desserts including mousse, gellos, ice-cream, cakes, fruit and other treats. The main reason I was impressed really was that the food was so well prepared and tasty. Definitely will return.More

traveled by bus and discovered it on my way home. the price is comparable to other chinese buffets. I was seated quickly and surprised by the selection of food being offered. I had the most enjoyable seafood dining including raw oysters, baked mussels, shrimp three...ways, and crab two ways. there is salads, sushi, fresh grilled to order dishes, roasted duck meat on skewers and scoop your own Ice creams.More
