I was taken here for breakfast by my husband. As soon as we entered this hidden gem we felt as though we were walking into our grandmother’s dining room. The menu offers your standard breakfast selections. The food was delicious and everything was cooked just the way we ordered it. I highly recommend giving it a try.

My family has been coming here for years. The food is always delicious and the wait staff and kitchen staff couldn't be any friendlier. Paul the owner has a great sense of humor and attends to all of the details to make sure you feel welcome. Chef Colleen #chefcollane always goes out of her way to make sure your food is delicious and cooked just the way you like it.

Was looking for inexpensive breakfast around Sonesta hotel. Found this gem and the food was beyond awesome(tasty, piping hot, inexpensive) the ambience is quaint, with lovely color schemes, lace type table cloths, curios full of tea sets.. just lovely🥰

Went here for dinner as the reviews looked very good. However, our experience was not good and we will not be back. From the moment we entered the restaurant the server, Paul seemed overwhelmed and the restaurant was only half full. We ordered the tuna carpaccio which was hard to slice and it could have used more soy wasabi glaze. We also had the snapper piccata which did not have much flavor. When I paid my credit card bill during that week, they took 20% tip, but my restaurant receipt clearly shows 18% and that was being generous considering the lack of service (ex: table next to us was told the specials and we were not, no one asked how us how the meal was. Oh well.

Best food in Lauderdale by the Sea. Breakfast & Lunch (you can get breakfast til 2 :) Eggs Florentine are best I’ve ever had. Soups are homemade and always a culinary masterpiece. Dinner shouldn’t be missed. Chef Colleen is creative and bold. The food is fresh, home made & the produce is locally farmed. The roasted Brussel spouts are fabulous. Grilled veal or pork chops are savory with her signature sauces. A nice selection of beer and wine along with locally pressed fresh juices . The owner Pauly is always there, with a warm welcome and personal attention to everything that makes Delacaseas the place you will come back to again and again.

The atmosphere is chill, elegant, quaint and eclectic. The service was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed meaningful conversations with the locals (who indicated they were regulars and recommended anything and everything on the menu) and with the incredible staff. The breakfast is the best we’ve had in our entire two week stay in south Florida. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict with Salmon and spinach. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I turned up here for breakfast and it was astoundingly good. All our food was fresh, hot, inexpensive, and delicious. Their mimosas are also slap your mama good. They had fresh squeezed juice. Further, the owner was incredbly kind and told us about other great local places that were also amazing. The social distancing for covid times was top notch. Go here, eat here, you won't be sorry.

Paul is an amazing chef and host. We dined twice at DelacaSeas on a recent weekend trip. Our delicious innovative meals were prepared with great attention to detail. We ate here twice during a weekend stay.Once for dinner and once for the Sunday brunch. The presentation and taste exquisite. Only the freshest of ingredients used. For dinner we had cocktails, appetizers, strip steaks and a specially prepared dessert(yum, yum, yum). The strip steaks were prepared as requested and to our satisfaction (Paul came out from the kitchen to make sure steaks were to our liking). For our scrumptious Sunday brunch we ate the best quiche ever(along with french toast, warm scones, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit cold pressed juice and coffee). We really enjoyed having Michael as our attentive and friendly server. He welcomed us with a smile and we were seated promptly on both our visits( Jeff helped out at brunch and was great as well) Counting the days until Feb.2022 . Tom and Mary Jo from Lackawanna

It is clear to me that many of the reviewers who gave this restaurant a 4+rating spent to much time at the cocktail table prior to dining. My wife and I have visited this restaurant every Christmas Eve for the past six years and this will be the last year. This time we were joined by two family members, one of whom kindly paid for the dinner. According to the guests the salmon was fine and the rack of lamb and the two chicken marsella (sp) offerings were "okay" ! In reality the rack of lamb and the two marsella dishes were poorly presented, messy and tasted like "leftovers"! In addition, the service was fair, slow and the server had to be asked for the bread after the main dishes were served as well as the water. This used to be a decent restaurant! I even remember years back when the chef was advertised as having a national reputation. "Those were the days my friend, we thought they would never end"! I guess the current management will blame all this on "ABC", the prevailing Atmosphere in the country, Biden and Covid"!

What a lovely restaurant and what great food! Here for dinner with friends. Absolutely impeccable service from the minute we walked in the door. The food was delicious from the olive and herb bread. My husband couldn’t get enough of the smoked wahoo dip. The entrees disappeared just as quick. Two people in our group had chicken Marsala and said it was exceptional, the seafood pasta special was delicious— light lemon wine sauce with capers with fresh tagliatelle style pasta, jumbo shrimp, scallops and mahi. The key lime dessert and the apple dessert were a perfect end to the meal. The music level is just right at the level we’re you can just (barely) hear it and hum to it.— but not so loud you have to shout over to. Paul, the owner, is super nice and checked on us to make sure the meal met expectations. Will definitely go back.

Had an amazing birthday dinner at this adorable spot ! The food and service were just excellent!
We started with Stuffed mushrooms and the lobster bisque- excellent portions and flavor all around. For Salad we had "the Cap" the balsamic reduction that they dressed this with was out of this world and they used the most beautiful tomatoes and fresh mozzarella!
I had the crab cakes for dinner - they were amazing. Chef Guy made some fresh roasted cauliflower and green beans to accompany my cakes. So fresh and delicious!
My boyfriend had the scallops and garlic mashed potatoes and they didn't disappoint! Desert was Chocolate Mousse, Apple Crumble and Whiskey cake! Perfect ending to a wonderful meal! I will undoubtedly be back for diner again!

Cute decor and fast food service. Thats the good.
Potatoes were burnt like charcoals and served with charcoal pieces of potatoes. Had special request on eggs and he said "the kitchen is right there". Indicating that special requests are not liked. Toast burnt. Water container had a stagnate smell like a dog was just bathed.
Our total was like $24. He handed us someone elses bill of almost $80. The food was mediocre.

Went for breakfast with 2 other people. The breakfast was cold, frozen sausage, bagel and english muffin not toasted, cheese omelet with no cheese. Mentioned to waiter, who was also the owner. He was not interested, and refused to toast the bagel for one person. He did eventually come back with a new toasted bagel. A couple of us ordered the breakfast special, includes toast or bagel, fruit cup, home fries and bacon or sausage. The bill came, everything was billed separate. $76 for breakfast, I don't think so. The owner really didn't care about our issues. Will never go back.

attended the first wine dinner since all of that was put on hold by the pandemic. I knew I missed these monthly events, but seriously, I did not realize exactly how much that was true. kudos to Paul and chef colleen and the wine purveyors and the wait staff. everything was superbly done - as always, immense creativity with the menu and the wine pairings delighted the palate. can't wait til July!

Lobster Bisque is pure and full of real lobster. I didn’t take the prettiest picture buts just meant to show you the value. True cafe set up with doily table cloths. Plus the AC was pumping.
