Love this place. We eat here twice a month. Great Thai food, with a very extensive menu. I'm a huge fan of their Pad Thai's and their Brothless Ramen dishes. Their chicken and pork dishes are very tasty. Wifey loves their curries. Service is great. The Owner, Lilly, is very cordial and accommodating. Plenty of parking. They do have a sushi bar and brewery if you are into that. Highly recommended.

Perfect spot for casual night out with friends. Amazing and friendly staff. Best of the best for food! Curry (spiced to whatever level of hot you like), chicken satay, soup, egg rolls, sake, pad Thai, sushi, mango sticky rice for dessert ...you can't go wrong!

We come here a few times every year when we stay in Indian Shores for a month. Food and service are excellent. Consistently fresh ingredients and seafood. We have had other favorite restaurants disappoint us this year. Not Thai Basil! Thank you!

We ordered dinner with half the dishes spicy and half mild from the location on Westbay. We realized all the dishes were mild after we picked it up. Not a big deal, everyone makes mistakes. It is the actions you take after you make a mistake that defines your character. Unfortunately the lady at the register and the chef decided to be extremely rude and racist after we asked to have the error corrected. All I wanted was to have half the dishes made spicy. Which shouldn't be hard since they were mild and you can add spices to them. It wasn't the other way around where I was asking them to un-spice my dishes. I asked the lady to review and repeat my order and she read the order correctly with half the dishes mild and others spicy. So I asked how do we correct this issue and she told me I would have to pay for new order for them to add the spices. I didn't understand why I would have to pay again for half my order if I wanted my order corrected. Especially since she was asking me to give back the incorrect spiced dishes for which she was not going to refund me. I emphasized that I understand that mistakes can be made but I just wanted spices added. It is then that the chef came out of the back area very belligerent, repeating 'No mistake, I forgot to add spices". I explained that forgetting to make my dish spicy is a mistake but he got very angry and repeated 'No mistake, I forgot'. He then continued on to say that it is only people of my ethnicity that ever have a problem with their food. They demanded I leave and never come back. Even took my phone number so they can ban me. It went from 0 to 60 for them in less than 2 minutes. I stood in the parking lot dumbfounded. All I asked was to have them correct my order without paying for it again. I am never going back to them. Oh wait I can't, I'm banned, lol. I still haven't completely processed this interaction. Very disturbing that they chose to go this route.

Chicken Tom Kha soup had very little flavor. There was absolutely no galangal in it and no taste of any lemongrass or fish sauce. When the green curry shrimp arrived, the sauce had no green color to it whatsoever and was very watery. This was the most tasteless green curry I’ve ever had. This might be the worst Thai food I’ve ever had and it’s because they didn’t use the ingredients properly.

Mediocre overpriced food, 25 minutes wait until food gets to your table. Tom Yam soup is just chicken broth with tons of peppers. Not even close to Tom Yam's taste. The waitress is constantly demanding additional meet with soup or noodles. Pad Tai came mushy. Awful experience. Disappointed. Highly.

Thai Bay in Largo is my go-to for Thai food. But I decided to try Thai Basil II since I hadn’t been there in a long time. They recently did a major expansion and the new section feels a bit cavernous. Our server was pleasant. Prices were fair. When I go to a new Thai place, I always go with the basics. I started with Tom Kha soup. It was nice enough but a little thin in both flavor and consistency. For my main I got Pad Thai with shrimp. Again, nice but a little light on the flavor. My dinner companions seemed to enjoy their food. It was a nice dinner, but I’ll head back to Thai Bay.

My chicken cashew with very hot style was excellent. The spring rolls were great. My wife's seafood with noodles was a gritty {seafood needed the sand washed out}. She said they forgot to make it hot but was good.

We both loved the food. The service was a bit slow, and the restaurant itself could use a facelift. We will definitely be going back to try the sushi at some point.

Our group wanted a Thai meal during our stay in Indian Rocks Beach and this restaurant came up as an option - we were very pleased that we ended up there! The food was tasty and authentic Thai (disagreeing with the nstultz review) with a wide range of menu choices. The Panang and Amazing curries were extremely good, as were the Green and Massaman curries and the Pad Thai. Good choice of wines, with the house wine being very well priced. The staff were welcoming, friendly and remembered us and our plans from a visit earlier in the week - yes, it is well worth going back to!!

This was my first time visiting Thai Basil II and I was very satisfied. I always try to find a couple new places while vacationing. The restaurant was clean, the staff was very friendly and very attentive to my needs. Not to the point of bothering me. I started with some wings. They were cooked perfectly...crispy but still very juicy. The sweet chili sauce was awesome. The complementary cup of soup was delicious. Definitely homemade. The lemony flavor in the broth was perfect. My main dish was chicken Pad Thai and I ordered it spicy. The rice noodles were cooked perfectly as was the chicken. The spicy heat level was not “hiccup inducing” but it did get my eyes and nose watering. Next time in I would like to try the Pho. The women in the booth next to me ordered it and it looked delicious. Came with all the fixings. Overall, I was impressed by this place and would definitely come back.

We were pleasantly surprised with the vast selection of entrees to choose from on the menu. And so glad all weren't spicy! First time trying warm Saki...I guess one has to develop a taste for it, but our friends love it. Will definitely go back. Great service.
