What a hidden gem!
Tucked away in a strip mall off E. Bay in Largo, we found some of the freshest & best tasting Middle Eastern food around.
Everything was made to order.
The falafels came out so crispy & light with super soft pitas to wrap them in.
Add a side of nutty tahini and housemate hummus and you have the perfect bite.
My falafel platter was served with one of the best taboulehs I’ve ever had and my husband love his classic Gyro.
Oh and the pistachio baklava is a must try. The perfect sweet (but not overly sweet) & crispy finish to a wonderful lunch.

Excellent food, service,ambiance, and owners
We have gone to Greece many times and this food reminds us of the authentic Greek food. It’s awesome give it a try. Sue the owner is very nice. The food is always outstanding and fresh. The babaganoush, falafel, and tabouli are fresh and tasty each time.

About a dozen of us went to celebrate a birthday and have some wine at their tasting and grab some light dinner. We had a fun evening trying several of the wines and having a variety of Mediterranean dishes. All were reasonably priced for the portions received. The staff was very accommadating and helpful. They do not have a large dining area and do a fair amount of take out business - we would try it again.

Love Café Sahara Mediterranean! Extremely friendly owners and staff. Business is very well kept and beautiful. Food is phenomenal with healthy and vegetarian friendly options. Have been picking up food to go recently without issue. The café has very considerate service. I paid over the phone and used their curbside assistance, but the café accepts food delivery as well. I have been eating here for years and will continue to support such an extraordinary place. Such a fantastic and healthy restaurant in our area.

Can I give them 6 stars? The food was very fresh, & the service was excellent. We had grape leaves, tabbouli, and something I can't pronounce, it was a sort of Fava bean stew. All fabulous! The pistachio baklava was the best I've ever had! We'll be back for the Friday night wine tasting!

Have heard about this restaurant from a number of friends and neighbors. As a foodie, cookbook author and tour operator, finding good food is always on my radar. When we walked in we were greeted by the owner and Chef Sue who made us feel welcome. Just looking at the beautiful veggies she was prepping and the smell of the bread baking in her fabulous wood burning oven made me happy. We sat down and ordered two glasses of wine; a Pinot Grigio from Italy and a Sauvignon Blanc from France both were refreshing and flavorful. Our lunch did not disappoint either. We started with lentil soup which was so smooth and creamy. Had to try the Babaganoush which was also creamy but had a bit of texture and delightful seasoning. The grilled chicken was also seasoned perfectly and so tender. If fact the fun of each dish were the flavors. Every dish was so fresh and tasted homemade. Our entire lunch was an explosion 💥 of flavors. I am still thinking about how good everything was. We will return and will definitely try the carry out and catering for home parties.

We were only people in restaurant at first & had to keep waiting for order to be taken. Actually, we had to go look for server. Took a long time to get water & later found out was charged for it, with no mention of it on menu. Was brought out a bottle of Pure Life & it was poured into 2 separate cups. Food was good. Never came back to see if we enjoyed our food or needed more water. Again, had to go search for them & wanted to get to go order & said we had to give it up front. We got up front & had to wait & wait, it was crowded & cramped & not friendly & then bill was not itemized, Very disappointed!!!

Cute place with limited seating and excellent food. The best baba ganoush I’ve had. Also sampled the falafel, lentil soup, tabouleh, spinach pie, and hummus. All delicious.
For dessert - two types of baklava to choose from (pistachio or walnut). Highly recommend.

Was looking for a place to eat in Largo that had vegan options and found this online. We were amazed at the friendliness of the owners. The food was so tasty and the wine was also just right. We chatted with Eugenie during our meal and the time flew by. We are on our way home to New Hampshire and this meal was one of the highlights of our eight weeks stay in Florida visiting family. A must if you are in the Largo area.

I am down visiting from the Detroit area and we have phenomenal Middle Eastern restaurants in Dearborn… some of the best I’ve ever had in the country. I can tell you this place matched those and then some. The menu is simple, clean and amazing, authentic flavors. A MUST try and we will definitely be back!

We stopped here in a whim, had never had Mediterranean food before and loved every minute! The hostess was so friendly! The food was amazing and the Wine was perfect! Make sure to stop if you get a chance. All of the staff was amazing and treated us like we were special!

The worst meal I had in my entire life, horrible, disgusting, awful, overpriced.
The owner and his wife are also very rude, but the worst part is that they do not know how to cook.

Everything about our lunch was a pleasant surprise. When you walk in, you come directly into the side of the establishment that is a deli where you can buy various fresh items to take home. The other side has comfortable seating and table service with a few booths and one larger table. Our lunch was excellent fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. The grape leaves were amazing. We will return and try more items.

Good food good atmosphere great people owner is very friendly and makes the best Lebanese food fresh to order organic ingredients.
I will be back again for some delicious food!
