Nice restraunt overlooking the ocean outside tables under a canopy. Fast service with plentiful portions; breakfast omelets were delicious, homefries. CASH ONLY. Although an ATM is available on-site parking is metered at $1.50hr. Bar service, and restrooms available and clean.

We went there for brunch while visiting friends last week. As with most popular beach cafes we expected a wait and it was a reasonable 30 minutes. This was much shorter than we experienced in the past from Benny's on the Beach. The views are better here, too. So we sidled up to the bar for some ocean views and Bloody Mary's. We were seated well interior in this open air location and it was a hot August day. They had fans running but we were uncomfortably warm. When the sun shades were removed we received some ocean breeze. The variety on the menu was great and two of us opted for Eggs Benedict, which comes with a generous slice of melon. I was in the mood for a Gyro because this is a Greek owned restaurant. It was good, not the best I've had but passable.

The Ocean View and breeze is fantastic. Unfortunately the food falls way below expectations. We ordered tuna salad platter; also fish platter. The tuna platter had cut carrots and celery carelessly cut way too big for a lunch plate. Tuna was so-so served in a cut tomato with little taste. The fruit on the platter was awful. Cut melons and pineapple none of which was sweet. The fish platter was fried and the fish was dry. French fries were soggy. Fairly expensive for sub-par food. Server was nice and friendly. So if you want the view this is the place. If you want good food go across the street.

Rather than doing two reviews I will be commenting on two visits just two days apart, one was for breakfast on a Sunday and the other was lunch on a Tuesday. On weekdays (not sure of weekends) breakfast is up to 11:30 and lunch 11:30 -4:30 I will be including pictures of both meals which in both cases was for parties of 4. The wait on Sunday, before noon, was about 20 minutes, it gets much worst after that, on Tuesday at almost noon their was 0 wait time. The servers are always excellent, very fast and efficient. No matter what you order, Omelets, Waffles, Avocado Toast, Turkey Club, Hamburger, Grilled Cheese, Meat and shrimp Kabob, they do everything great. The portions are huge and always come with multiple sides, sweet potato or regular fries, cold slaw, rice, pickles, etc. You will not go hungry and many plates are more than enough for two. This is a Cash Only restaurant but they have an ATM onsite.

We've eaten here for many years, with honest food which we've always enjoyed with the great view of the ocean. However this time was set back by grumpy service when we complained after being served a cocktail with cut lemons which had definitely been cut many hours before. Instead of changing the cocktail for one with freshly cut lemons tried to convince us that we were wrong.

Whenever we visit the area on vacation from the U.K. our first port of call is always breakfast at the Dune Cafe. It’s an extraordinary place, right on the beach, with fantastic views of the sea below. It’s open air, with just an awning so you really feel as if you are on the dunes. We absolutely love the breakfast, especially the potatoes - delicious. With toast and eggs it makes the perfect American breakfast. There’s even a slice of melon. There’s always something to watch, ships on the horizon, speedboats racing past, and the ever present cheeky birds hopping about hoping for a few crumbs. You might even see the odd gecko. Service is speedy and there is parking nearby by meter. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Florida!

From the delicious fresh food, to the super friendly staff, just awesome. Not to mention, you are right on the beach, with breathtaking views of ocean. And the prices are reasonable, for the freshness & quality of the food too. This place just can’t be beat. Some of our favorites are, their grilled calamari, Greek salads, grilled shrimp, grilled chicken platter, avocado toast & yummy Greek yogurt. Absolutely love this place!

Every time we visit family in the wpb area we make sure to stop at this beach side eatery! Whether for breakfast or lunch the place has never let us down. The staff is tops and the menu is always offering items for different palates. A win win in our family! You have a special place in our hearts.

Two of us went for lunch. The server couldn’t wait a minute to let us ask for specifics, then complained when we eventually were able to ask for them. It took 3 goes for them to get our meals hot & the correct order. Waited so long had to top up the parking meter!! No apologies & when we asked to speak to the owner he asked is it a compliment or a complaint, when we said a complaint he told us to see another guy, as he only wanted to hear compliments. He refused to reduce the check & then it was cash only, they had an ATM on the premises for which they charged $3. A truly dreadful experience.

Yahoo finally a place on the beach overlooking the ocean for breakfast and lunch. I usually don’t go this far for a meal but it is next door to the Eau (former Ritz Carlton.) The menu is Florida coffee shop with anything you can think of , big portions and straight from the griddle. Two decks with a cover and no reservations. Parking at Lantana public beach . I’ll be back.

I called this afternoon (around 11:30) to hopefully put down my name and see how long the wait would be. I have never been to the cafe before and was hoping to be informed nicely. I ask very respectfully “How long is the wait and is there any way I could put a name down?” And I was answered SO RUDELY “I’m not a psychic I can’t tell you how long the wait is going to be. And no you can never put down your name.” I was absolutely shocked and informed this hostess that I was trying to take my grandma out to brunch and the fact that she responded disgustingly to me stopped me from wanting to go there. I don’t assume the other staff members are rude, but that was an awful first impression.

Food that is usually very good was a disappointment this time . The 4 oz hot dog was no more than 2oz.( hot dogs are one of my favorite foods) Waitress went back and tried explain what happened even offered to replace it . I refused. Fries were cold as was the fried calami. Salads were fine as usual. Watch what’s ordered

Scrumptious food with beautiful views. What more do you need? The service was fast and friendly. Our Eggs Benedict was so tasty! It came with potatoes, lettuce, tomato, and a slice of cantaloupe. All of it was fantastic, and we finished our whole plates which is a rare occurrence. Yum! Just go already!

Good heavens! What has happened to this once-remarkable eatery on the beach? Maybe we caught them on a bad weekday, but the service was interminably slow, half of our orders cold or lukewarm when they finally did arrive, and the food was sub-par: soggy fries, dried out shrimp, etc., etc. Our waitress was friendly enough, but the overall air of the place was hapless chaos. Overall a very forgettable experience.

We tried this place on a stormy day, so we had plenty of time to linger over the delicious food. There were screens to shield us from the waves breaking outside and our friendly server had stories to tell. I will definitely order the San Diego eggs benedict with spinach and avocado again when I come back on a sunny day to enjoy the oceanfront view at this family-run place. Super clean restrooms. Use the machines to pay parking in the city lot.
