This is such a great place to come and dine, relax and enjoy some of the best chow in Florida in a laid back setting. Just love it here. Uncompromising standards are practiced here. The chef and his team go the extra mile on everything...they do, and we are the beneficiary. Tonight, a nice bottle of white wine. The fantastic Brussel Sprout Salad w Marcona Almonds, Date, Asian Pear and Lemon. Couldn't resist the Blue Crab and Sweet Corn Pizza w Garlic Butter, Mozz, Chile, Parsley.... really superb. Took some Oatmeal Raisin Cookies for the ride home. All of their cookies are amazing. Service from Atessa was excellent... friendly and professional. So great!!!!!More

Small. Tables are on a covered deck (looked to have effective a/c). Thought it would be hard to get a table (no reservations for less than 6)---it wasn't (Fri. 6:30...but, more traffic, later). Server was very good at servering. Food (changes from day-to-day--we had pea...soup w/smoked chicken, burrata salad, scallops, pasta with lamb) excellent to very good. Portion size-depended on dish. Cherry-chocolate chip cookies: great. Prices: not exorbitant. Only takes cash? Good for them.More

I would love to say we had a great meal, but we had no meal. Knowing that they don’t take reservations we planned to arrive at 5:15 Unfortunately every possible road in West Palm, was closed and it took us almost an hour to get...there. When we arrived at 5:45 there were plenty of open tables, but we were told that it would be an hours wait, which is hard to understand since they don’t take reservations. A more friendly response would have been appreciated. I can’t review the food, but I can review the attitudeMore

The chow is awesome, the ambiance as well... so laid back. Such a treat to come here and enjoy amazing food in a relaxed setting. Tonight started with Shaved Zucchini Salad w/marcona almond, pecorino, lemon, mint... a great light dressing, great balance. Followed by a...fantastic Nantucket Bay Scallop Crudo w grapefruit, fennel, avocado, thai basil... super fresh, light... so good. Finished with the Colorado Lamb Chops w polenta, sheep milk feta, mint gremolata, turnip. The lamb chops were excellent, simple, fine quality... loved the polenta and turnips... glad the mint was just an essence. Dessert is always a treat here. The Lemon Tart w sour cream sorbet, pistachio crumble and roasted strawberries was superb. Tip: Never come here without ordering whatever cookies they have... simply the best cookies anywhere. Service tonight from Atessa was great... friendly and attentive. Sue always keeps an eye on everyone and the chef visits tables to make sure all is perfect. Lots of regulars here... not surprising... once you dine here you'll want to come regularly too! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDMore

We came here on a recent Wednesday evening about 8:15pm. We were able to get a table right away. The ambience and service were spot on. Small and casual but huge on taste and presentation! Everything we had was superb. There were three of us...and we really over ordered because it all sounded so good. This is a sharing type meal so keep that in mind. The menu changes daily and is posted online about noon so you can check it before hand. We had the cold potato/leek soup. (We ordered two of these for three people) The salad which was an acorn squash concoction. The veal sweetbreads, cassoulet and the tagliatelle. I might be forgetting something. We took home about half of the cassoulet and the pasta. Wine selection is very good and reasonably priced. This is a cash only restaurant so be prepared for that. It was an expensive meal, for sure, but well worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely return if we are in the area again. YummmmMore

EVERYTHING about our dining experience was memorable! The ambiance of this intimate place, the interaction with Chef Jeremy since we were lucky enough to be seated at the Chef's Counter, the impeccable service and every delicious bite of food. I was introduced to this hidden...gem by a couple of chef friends, and their recommendation was spot on.More

We went on a Friday evening and we were 4 of us. Turns out you have to be 6 or more people to make a reservation. We got here at 7:07pm but had to wait till nearly 8pm to be seated inside. It is a...very small restaurant. But we really enjoyed the food, which changes on a daily basis. The cold corn soup and the pizza was delicious. Go check it out.More

Attended the special summer BBQ. Menu are varied and food quality was excellent. Family style serving with plenty of quantity. It's a casual place; outdoor seating, but protected from the sun. Definitely pricey; cash only requirement is a drawback.

Love eating here every time we go! Out standing people and delicious unique dishes. The menu changes every day depending on what the chef has available. All cooked in a wood fire oven. Plan to relax and enjoy and eat the various dishes as they...come out. All the produce, meat, and fish is top quality. Every thing is meticulously prepared and served. Try several dishes and share them with the table. Don't skip dessert! A hidden small gem in East Lantana. Note, they only accept cash, but have an ATM inside.More

I finally talked the missus into a drive up to Lantana to try this joint out. Just to explain, my wife tends to be a creature of habit with generally a desire to not venture outside a 20-30 minute drive radius to eat, unless there...are extenuating circumstances. Once there, she is good to go...she just needs motivation. Oceano Kitchen is a small restaurant with indoor seating at a food counter and several outdoor tables on the covered front porch/patio. It is old Florida kitsch with a comfortable casual chill vibe. You’d be wise to follow the suggested practice of eating family style and sharing plates for a couple of practical reasons: 1) sharing multiple options to enhance the experience; 2) the food really does come out in a disjointed pattern. We started with the wood fired peach salad, mushroom & robiola toast and Fried Shrimp wrapped in phyllo dough for our appetizers. For our entrees we chose Rigatoni with Key West Shrimp, Pumpkin Swordfish, and Gyro Meatballs. Every dish was presented attractively and with layered flavors...and was a sheer pleasure to consume. We chose a donut bread pudding with chocolate cayenne ice cream, and a blueberry crostata with lemon verbena ice cream for our desserts. Both were stupid good, but the lemon verbena ice cream tasted like Springtime in your mouth. We had a couple of questions that our lovely waitress was not 100% sure of the answer, so she suggested we walk up to the kitchen to ask Jeremy and Matt. They were more than happy to chat with us, answering all of our questions and just talking restaurants. Dinner was a huge hit with our party, as everyone was very happy with our experience and looks forward to our next visit and menu.More
