I have only been here for the coffee and the teas, and both are very good! I usually have to wait in line, sometimes fast sometimes slow, but worth it

One Of My Most Favorite Places In Downtown Lakeland! The Service Is The Best, Coffee or Lunch Fantastic. Have Antique and Other Unique Shops Next Door and You Can Sit Up Front At The Window And People Watch As The World Goes By! Try This One of a Kind Coffee House, You Will Be Glad You Did!

For a relaxed place to relax with coffee and maybe a pastry, also with some outdoor seating, try Mitchell's, a well-loved local haunt. Staff is very friendly and also efficient. Next time I go I may have a cappuccino--the brewed coffee was slightly on the weak side, although this reflects what most Americans prefer. But it was a great place... More

This is an interesting little coffee shop with rustic tables and eclectic art. The service was quick and friendly and the coffee was good. Give it a try!

Our mainstay when we're in downtown Lakeland. Really good omelettes (they're all good) and muffins (the carrot-raisin and cranberry are the best!) in this comfortable, well-decorated coffee house. It's a short walk one block north of the town square. What a nice place!

I meet two or three friends at Mitchell's one morning every week. I use their debit card that awards a point for every dollar spent and when 30 points are earned you get a free cup of coffee . . . and before you say, "Big Deal," it means any speciality coffee they serve including an incredible frozen sugar-free mocha.... Mitchell's has stayed true to its roots over the years. Fresh coffee and other specialty drinks, pastries and desserts, plus lunch. Sandwiches and soups are great for lunch. Breakfast scones and muffins go great with their coffee or choice of teas.

Great service, delicious muffins, perfect atmosphere. My family loves coming here, I feel like it's where the "cool" people hang out. They play awesome music and it's always fun to just people watch.
