Oh my, oh my. We each had a bacon cheeseburger, a tall soft drink and shared an order of cajun onion rings.
He said the burgers are "At least as good as I can make at home." Which is super high praise.
Hand formed, lots of toppings to choose from and cooked perfectly.
That being said, the onion rings are unbelievable! I don't want to finish this last one.
Worth the short drive off the main drag to get here. Only ooen until mid-afternoon, so watch your timing.
They are seating at 50% capacity due to COVID 19, and we sat outside. Beautiful day, nice stop on a road trip south.
I promised I would only have a couple onion rings. I broke that promise. We are going to have to thumb wrestle for the last one.
Wish me luck.

Our party of 6 were traveling home from a week at the beach and this little diner hit the spot! We all had the cheeseburgers. The food is all prepared fresh including their fresh potato fries sliced. The owner knew we had never been here so he made sure to give us a full description of everything they do there including hand pick all the fresh produce. The burgers offered toppings like Onions, pickles, lettuce, Mayo, fried onion rings, Sautéed mushrooms and onions just to name a few. The fries have a selection of seasoning choices. Ranch, Cajun, Sea Salt, Garlic Parm were some. The owner brought us the seasonings as a sample for us all to try at our table. The salads and French Dip sandwich also looked amazing. I hope these guys get a chain restaurant because it was that good. I hope to return back when we are traveling south again.
All in all, great service and friendly staff with amazing food choices! Don’t skip this one!

These were the best burgers and French fries around. Quick and polite service and made exactly to order. The large fries would definitely feed a family of 4. This will be our new go to burger joint instead of the other "Guys"

Stopped in for Lunch. I ordered a Cheeseburger and my friend had the Club sandwich. The burger was good but not the best that I've had and my friend said the club was good. I wasn't happy watching the cook working the grill having a beard and no beard net on, talking on his cell phone while flipping our food. The other problem was the flies. They need bug exhaust fans over the entrance, drivethru and backdoor or a zapper in the restaurant. I spent more time pushing flies away than eating my burger.

We stopped at Two Fat Guys Burgers as we were passing through Lake City. The restaurant looked like it had been recently painted inside and like the furniture was reasonably new. The interior of the restaurant needed to be cleaned. Several tables needed to be cleaned off so we had a small selection of clean tables. The restrooms were clean even though the building is a little dated.
The service was very good. The young woman behind the counter was very friendly and very helpful. She did her job very well. The food was very good. I had the bacon cheeseburger; it was excellent. All of us really thought our burgers were excellent. The toppings were generous and there is a great selection of toppings. We ordered a large French fries and it was a very large serving. We ordered ranch seasoning on the fries and they were delicious. I can recommend Two Fat Guys Burgers.

Making our way to Gainesville we needed to stop for lunch. Two Fat Guys came up when looking for a lunch place. I got the Philly steak sandwich and my wife got the slaw dog. Very impressed with the food. We asked for our meats to be well done and was served to perfection. We split a regular order of garlic parm fries. The portions were large for the cost. Great place.

This is a restaurant located in the golf clubhouse at the Quail Heights Golf Course. The burgers are the best in the Lake City area. The fries are the best in the Lake City area and their regular portion is more than you can eat. This is laid back golf course snack shack at its best. Very friendly people. It is usually busy with local folks out for a good meal. Ambience: Casual, friendly Facility: OK, clean. Restrooms: clean but tired - grade B. When you want a burger in Lake City, make the effort to go here.
