I was in Lake City, FL. today (9-23-21) around lunch time and really feelin it (hungry). So I stopped for a sandwich and asked to make it fat. And for $10.00 bucks or so thereabouts, that sandwich hit the spot like few meals ever do. It came with a drink, but I only got water. Never the less, its getting close to supper time and I am not even hungry. I still feel satisfied from lunch. And coming from a guy who has been loosing weight for the last couple of months, I am well pleased with stopping here for lunch today and recommend this place to anyone looking for the "REAL DEAL".

Good Steak Sandwich

This place is pretty cool. It is a food truck with a small covered area built around the front that is open air and the also a small building next door that has air conditioning. I got a steak sandwich and it was pretty delicious. It had potato stix in it which I thought was interesting. Plantains were good too. Also tried a pineapple soda which was tasty. I'd go again. Guys were very nice!

Best Cuban Sandwich EVER!

Best Cuban Sandwich EVER! We were traveling back home on I75 and decided to try something different. The reviews were so good but I don’t always trust them. No doubt about it, if anything I would give them a 6! Not only was the food REALLY good, the owner Adrian was SO nice and the service top notch. We enjoyed chatting with him. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Awesome authentic food! Tried the Cuban sandwich and the steak sandwich. Large portions, fresh ingredients, tasted like homemade. Very friendly and quick service.

Being OPEN would be a good start

Trailer food. It wAs Closed for lunch. WTF? The menu looks good. It’s a shame we couldn’t try anything. I guess they need to update their hours on the website, and on the signage.

A religious experience

This place is so amazing with the flavors. I am a huge salter. None was needed for this. The loaded tamales are OMG just an experience all of their own. Moist. Smooth. Filling and delicious. Excellent “sandwish”. Crisp crust. Perfect amount of mustard. Ot looks light on meat but believe me. The balance is perfect. And for an 8.00 sandwich. You won’t beat it.

Best Cuban Sandwich!!

If you are in Lake City or passing through, skip the humdrum chains and sink your teeth into a beautifully prepared Cuban sandwich! Omg it is delicious and the staff are very friendly!! There is open air seating and a little air conditioned dining room adjacent.

We were just passing through Lake City- hungry, but we wanted something different- not the same old chain. We split the Cuban sandwich & a couple of sides. Excellent food, great service, and if we ever pass through again, we’d definitely go back!

I’d eat here every day if I could!

On our way up I 75 and stopped in Lake City for lunch. We wanted to try somewhere we had not been before and settled on Two Cuban Guys. Excellent decision! Hubby ordered a Cuban Steak Sandwich and black beans and rice. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and sweet plantains. We shared so we could taste more things. Sandwiches come with a drink and the sides are large. We could have probably shared one. Glad we didn’t! The sandwiches are not large..they are huge! My Cuban had loads of pork chunks with a nice smoky flavor, ham, melted cheese, pickles and mustard and very very good Cuban bread. Hubby’s steak sandwich and a layer of nicely cooked steak, lettuce, tomato, fried potato sticks, fried onions, mustard and mayo all on that same amazing bread! We shared half of our sandwiches and the sides. The black beans and rice were good and the sweet plantains were like dessert. We thought the prices for freshly made, simply delicious food with huge servings were more than fair. I would eat there regularly if it were possible. As it is we will make it a stop on every trip up or down I 75.

WOW The Cuban Sandwich is GREAT

Best Cuban Sandwich I have had over many years...We also had the Cuban Pork Dinner w/ black beans and rice, and delicious plantains...pork was so so good.. Don't pass this place up on your way traveling I-75 , at Lake City Fl.. next to the Walmart, small, limited seating, but BIG on flavor and delivery of great tasting food...

Best Cuban Sandwich in years

I saw the reviews here and thought wow a place for a good Cuban, I didn't think I'd find one up here! Well it was as good as other reviewers said! Hub and I sat down and had really great sandwiches!!!! Very nice and many thanks.. we'll definitely be back again. The prices were great and the fellow who took our order very friendly. Who would want more?

I was one of their first customers and go there all the time. It's small, dining doesn't have the best atmosphere bu,t the food and friendly service makes up for it. Feels like being in Cuba oir South Miami right her in Lake City!

Quick Stop

The guys were friendly, service was fast and the food good. We tried the Cuban sandwich out was meaty which is good and authentic if you like that. Beef empanadas were also tasty. I'd go again.
