The restaurant advised me today that they are not required to wear masks and most do not, including cooks and servers.
So, they are not required to wear masks, but for my family to eat there, until they do or until Covid “like magic” goes...away, we will be eating somewhere else.
Sticking with restaurants that are safer.
Will miss them terribly until then!More
Been going here for about 20 years. Used to live behind the Hwy 90 and Sister's Welcome location, then went to the one out west for work and lately, the one on St. Margarets by Sonic. Used to love to sit and have the Working...Man's Combo Pork Sandwich or Hamburger or Cheeseburger. Paid extra to get a big to go cup of tea to have and take with me when I left. Left the waitress a good tip each time as well. This past month, I've gone twice and told I couldn't have a big to go cup even if I paid extra. First I thought it was the waitress, second time I found out that it was management that doesn't allow this anymore. Only for carry out orders it seems. WELL Mr holder of the cups, enjoy hoarding all the cups you want!!
I now go to Five Guys that make a mean hamburger as well. I also now go to Zaxby's to and have their Club Meal which is even cheaper and still filling. Sonny's is now where I go for BBQ and even Chili's and Beef's has BBQ and Ribs too! Have fun with those cups!!More
I recently visited Ken’s BBQ on US 41 again recently for lunch. Like before, the service was excellent and extremely fast. As I was in town for leisure, I relaxed and enjoyed the meal. The bbq brisket sandwich I ordered with fried okra was outstanding....The sauces are excellent as well. Of course no bbq visit would be complete without some refreshing sweet tea. This is a great stop for bbq in the Lake City area!More
First time eating here. Everyone friendly. Service great. Beef, ribs, turkey was good. Fried corn on cob, BBQ beans, slaw, very good. Tea good. No complaints. Prices reasonable. Left full and satisfied. Would recommend trying, everyone's taste and expectations are different. I would return again...when in that area. Thumbs up! Esther is sweet.More
The place was packed with locals so we had high anticipation. Maybe they grew up on it, and this is the areas style of BBQ. Our party of 6 all had the same experience - the meat was dry, ribs were tough, chicken was over...cooked, banana pudding tasted like it was from a box. All in all, I would not return. The side dishes seemed homemade and were the best part of the meal. Service was average.More

I do not run this restaurant so don't know why you asked me about when they have brunswick stew. Also the directions/address for this restaurant is completely WRONG - you will end up in the middle of the forest if you go by the map. I wrote a review in hopes someone would fix the address. The restaurant is actually on the main drag of this town - near Sonny's and a bunch of other restaurants. DO NOT GO BY THE ADDRESS GIVEN IN TRIP ADVISOR.unless you like being in the woods in the dark on a one lane road.
