Good clean restaurant that offers excellent hibachi food!

We had good experience in this restaurant, except from the waitress not being friendly and borderline rude and that is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 star rating. The food was professionally cooked by the chef, the ingredients were fresh and good quality, the portions were large (even for the lunch menu) and the prices were reasonable. Also, I was glad to see that the restaurant has implemented proper covid-19 procedures and seats each group of guests at a separate hibachi table, which not only protects the guests but also protects the restaurant staff.

Great Selection, Fabulous Food!

We visited Mizu Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi for a late lunch. Don’t let the spartan surroundings or strip mall location deter you in dining here. We were wonderfully greeted and seated by the owner. Our server was attentive and friendly. Their large menus can be intimidating but take your time and you’ll discover something for everyone in your group. We started with the House Salad with ginger dressing and then the Sweet Potato Roll with a Philadelphia Roll. The rolls were fresh and great tasting and the Sweet Potato Roll was the best! Our entrees were the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Seafood Fried Rice with scallops, shrimp and krab (yes fake crab). I can guarantee you will not leave hungry due to the amount of fried rice and large servings. If you want selection, service, quality food and a great food experience, Mizu Japanese Steakhouse is your place to dine!

Great food and great service! The chef really went above and beyond with extra entertainment and jokes. My only negative was the AC was out or barely working. They had fans which made it tolerable, but still very hot.

Awesome Hibachi

Wow, what an amazing find. We opted for the Hibachi menu, and had a fabulous experience. The chef was funny, entertaining, and prepared a tasty dinner for me, my wife and two teenage daughters. We are Brits, so we only required two main courses for the four of us. But that was no problem to the staff. The price was very reasonable too, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the establishment.

horrible service.

I went to see the restaurant with my mother. I dropped a shoyo on the floor and the waitress started yelling in Chinese at another waitress, took the mop to clean the floor and threw it hard on the floor. I still apologized and she didn't even respond. I have never been in such an embarrassing situation in a restaurant. horrible service.

Great food and service

I visited the restaurant with my family, and we received excellent service. The Hibachi Shrimp and Chicken were both delicious and served in generous portions. We also enjoyed the Kirin draft beer. Highly recommend!

It’s not bad, but it’s not outstanding, either. Staff is not always attentive and we have to request items a couple of times (a fork or knife, for instance) before we get them.

Great food, great entertainment, great value

We visited for a Saturday night family dinner and chose the Hibachi Grill dinners, cooked on a hot table in front of us. Our chef was amusing and fun but, more importantly, extremely skilled in cooking. Our rice and noodles were delicious and veggies were fresh and crisp. Among us we chose variations on the Hibachi Specials, including steak, chicken, shrimp and tofu. Everything was perfectly cooked and our little ones were amply catered for — the chef also offered them tasty samples of the adults’ food choices. The littlest guests really enjoyed the chef’s theatrical tricks such as the fire, the volcano, the choo choo, and the egg roll— great fun for all.

Excellent food and environment!

Very nice restaurant with an excellent service and food. Everything inside is very clean, public areas, bar and restrooms! Employees are very friendly and the cooks really do an outstanding, clean and fun job. Have been there twice with groups of friends and will definitely go back. We all loved the food and fun times!

Great food! Large portions!

Originally went to Osaka and it was horribly warm and we waited for a while and left because we just weren’t getting good vibes. Went to Mizu and they seated us right away and were very friendly. Food was great, good value and lots of it. Wish we had one near our home. They serve noodles AND rice with each meal. Our chef was great!

A really great dining experience!

I love Asian food, and so do my young sons, but my boyfriend really struggles with anything that is not a steak.......until this place. We went for lunch and had our food cooked on a hot plate in front of us by the chef. My boys were marvelled by the chefs skills with his knives and knowledge of what he was cooking. My boyfriend loved it! ( He did have steak but it was Japanese style!) Amazing and highly recommended!

Three couples out for dinner! We were sat promptly. Our waitress was a little hard to understand. Our chef put on-a good show! I’ve had better sushi! The veggies were cooked a little too soft. I had the spicy tuna roll, the tuna was very chopped up and mushy! I also ordered the shrimp timpani table. Shrimp was very good tasty but the rice and noodles were very bland. I have had better! It was just ok. The Japanese restaurant I usually go to offers the liver Patty’s and also shrimp appetizer. They give you bean sprouts too. I was a little disappointed with this place. Everyone else in our group seemed to like it.

This place has no customer service, they gave us a table and the girl who took our order was rushing us in and out of the restaurant and did not care at all.This was our first time there and never ever again..
