We arrived on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was welcoming and it was busy with a great buzz. We waited about 10 minutes for a table, and it was very much worth the wait. We didn't want a big meal, but started with the...chips and salsa dip which was refilled. The service was friendly and timely. The drinks menu was ample and the avocado margherhita was lovely with a couple of other cocktails going down very nicely, The meal itself, we had steak and shrimp fajitas and the molcajete dish. Both portions were very ample with a healthy side of rice, guacamole, salsa and refried beans. The steak was succulent and the whole meal had a lovely flavour, tantalising our taste buds. From atmosphere (with Friday night mariachis), to authentic Mexican food and friendly staff this place brought back wonderful memories of trips to Mexico. I had tacos, which were authentic. Mexican carne a dada tacos, not those Americanized ones with lots of cheese. My son had...chicken chimichanga, which he said was the best he’s had. I enjoyed the house margarita on the rocks, which was good. My son opted for an avocado margarita. He said it was very good! Our server, Dayana, was super friendly. Can’t say enough good things about this hidden gem! We ventured to this place in search of great authentic Mexican and boy did we find it. Everyone in our party of 6 was blown away! Can’t wait to comeback here.

We were on vacation. We like Mexican food. While at the resort, we did a search for Mexican restaurants near us. Several came up, but this one had good reviews and was close to our resort. We were promptly seated. Our server was very helpful...with the menu. Our order was correct and there was not a long wait time. The food was delicious. The chips and salsa were great, the burritos and refried beans were amazing, and the Corona Light was icy, icy cold. They have a full bar with more kinds of tequila than I knew existed. Tonight we did an online order. When we got home a piece of our order was missing that was $7. We asked if they could refund it instead of getting out again. The manager told us we were lying!
